    I transferred money to a closed AIB account in error. How long will it take for this money to return to my account?

    Hi Budgie412,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here.

    If a transfer is made to a closed account the funds should bounce back directly into your account. It can take up to five working days for the transaction to be processed and returned to your account.
