    Ginger Nuts! Good shout.

You can stick your Fix's up your swiss, though.

No way, man, Fox’s are nice.

Cadbury Roundie biscuits are very very tasty. I had to spread the good news.

2 packets of Oreos (blended up ta fcuk)
1 tub of Philadelphia cream cheese

Mix together and form into small balls (roughly malteeser size)

    Refrigerate for 30 minutes

Coat balls in melted white/dark chocolate.

    Chill.

    You’re welcome.

Got a serious case of the munchies the last evening... went to Tesco in search of Choco Shreddies.... No luck... Spotted the little diabetic green demon smiling at me from beneath a rainbow - but I resisted - and instead bought something called Malt Wheat (Choco-nut flavour). It was an experience that could only have been made worse with soya milk

They are kosher though. I hate the taste of kosher food.

Americans cannot bake anything of quality on an industrial scale (ironically). Biscuits, cakes, buns, chocolate - all suffer the same problem of being sweet, bland and "soft".

Have you tasted both to compare?

I first tried them when I was in the US in the early 90s. And again in Canada about three years ago. I hadn't had any until recently when a work colleague ordered the American version through Candyland. Someone else brought in some they had to compare. For me the American centre wasn't as sweet and combined better with the chocolate biscuit. Three out of four of us preferred the US Oreos. Though I would happily eat both. Surprised they're receiving all this derision here.

    Tim Tams ftw.
Tim Tams used to be available in Tesco. They're magnificent!
Haven't seen them in a long time though.

Ever tried their Kellogg's pop tarts? I was never allowed them but they look like another sugar disaster! That Reece's chocolate is horrible stuff too.

Used to eat pop tarts every once in a while when I was younger... not as bad as oreos - that is about as positive as I can be about that

I had some reeces peanut butter cups the last night... I remember liking a lot more when I was younger... I don't know what that is but it ain't chocolate. The peanut butter in it is kinda rank too - and you can buy it by the jar like a spread now...

I agree, OP, never understood the fascination and popularity of Oreos.
I'm not a huge fan of bourbons but I would prefer them over Oreos.
I love an oul Digestive, meself.

Oreos are grand, I like to chew them up and then take a sip of milk, mix it together in my mouth and then swallow.

Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches are f*cking amazing though

Not to be confused with a tub or Orea ice cream which is mank.

I dunno what reminded me of it, but Brown Bread Ice-cream is gorgeous and would blow Oreo ice-cream out of the park. Have you ever tried it?

Agree 100%. Seen them on American TV shows and movies for years and when I finally got one it was absolute muck. Same as twinkies

Same for me with Twinkies, Oreos and Hershey chocolate all disgusting let downs

Only bought them cause they were 75 cent in Dealz.

Don't see what all the fuss is about. They taste exactly like the bourbon creams you can get in lidlyaldi for 19 cent.

    No they don't

Peanut butter and nuts. Which is why American confectionery is much superior to ours.
