Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why can't I make calls from the US on my HTC?

I'm in California now and I'm having trouble making calls from my HTC desire. The status bar along the top shows full signal strength with the letter R above. When I try to make a call I get a recorded message say my call can't be completed as dialed. I have module data turned off, the cost is far too high to leave it on.

Because you need to use international dialling codes probably.

did you tell your provider? Sometimes they need to set things up in the background to let you do it

I've tried various combinations of codes, all the same message. I'm on help chat with Three right now, might get going soon.

For Los Angeles, you should be dialing either +1 213 XXX XXXX or 001 213 XXX XXXX where XXX XXXX is the local number. If you are elsewhere, obviously, the area code changes.

It may be that your account is restricted, as an anti-fraud measure. Talk to your phone company.

I think it might be because I didn't tell them I was away. Thanks for the help
