Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows anything about car insurance for a driver with a prosthetic leg.

He has been driving his whole life with no claims but I'm doubtful that he will be able to continue to be insured for driving a manual car with a prosthetic whether he is physically able or not. Anyone have any experience with this, information would be much appreciated.

*Edit: It seems being declared fit by a doctor is all that has to be done.

If it's his left leg an automatic should be straightorward with certain doctors approval, if it's his right vehicle adaption might be required and more strict doctor sign off criteria.
