Jaysus threads like this remind me of the scene from A Clockwork Orange all over the country there's lads strapped to chairs with their eyes held open being forced to watch this show or Mrs. Brown.
Its lowest common denominator comedy jokes about bodily functions or swearing. For me I love them my humour is very juvenile one of the scenes where one of the girls farts in the lads face I nearly burst a blood vessel laughing.
Was this season as good as the other 2 I don't think so I thought the movie was a bit meh too apart from the end of it.

It's played at 9:30pm and called young offenders...you'd think there'd be some proper adult material/storylines in it.

I think the main reason Irish people like it is that it's about Ireland and broadcast to foreigners. "Hey look, he's irish, that's how us Irish speak "bai". Foreigners, please laugh at us Irish because we're funny"

If it was set in the UK no one would give it time of the day.

Even the character names are amateur. Billy Murphy? Like a name I'd come up with when writing an essay in 5th year.

What name(s) would you suggest?


Surely a name like Billy Murphy is common and realistic in a place like Cork.

I think its done anyway, the ending felt all a bit final to me.

Not as good as previous seasons but I still enjoyed it. Maybe its because I'm from Cork, my family is from the northside, I work in the northside or I know many faces in the show. Its great to see a show about Cork instead of Dublin!

Its silly, a bit campy but its a nice show about two best friends. Harmless stuff and alot of it resonates with me from when I grew up.

Very little about RTE has been about outside Dublin recently. Thye should remember that they are a National broadcaster or else what is the point.

Its decent enough, I watch it every week on RTE Player.

Wouldn't binge watch it but get a couple of chuckles out of it mainly due to how dumb they are.

Probably a 5 out of 10. Has it flaws but its watchable.

Yeah, noticed that too. Thought it was supposed to be a 3 year jump, but if he is a teacher now, how did he go to college, get a degree then teaching diploma and get hired in only 3 years?!
