I really could have wished that the snooker on BBC red button could have lasted a lot longer to give Ryan Day a much needed potential thrashing against John Higgins to allow myself to ignore the line-up from the LLS for tonight. Alas it was not to be. Bollox anyway for want of a better word.

I got Padraig to sign a DVD for me at a thing he was doing to promote his Dunnes Stores Collection a few years ago, he was very friendly and chatted away for ages. Success didn't change him a bit.
