He has a great reputation on tour for being a sound man. Meant to be one of the genuine good guys. He has had huge success, so no harm in being proud of it.

It's not really bubbling away, as such. Meat is all gone brown, which is good. Some of the spuds are sticking out at the top, wonder if that matters.

This show could literally be compiled from Pat Shortt's Entertainment from the telly. Stick together interviews and performances from the last 30 yrs. Where's the novelty? We've seen it all before.

I was. It was kind of last minute. A group of us were to go for a meal with him the previous weekend instead but he was developing a chest infection and decided to stay in and save himself for the big night. I just decided to go a few days beforehand. It was a great night and a credit to the Organiser Gerry O Boyle.
