    Hiya guys

    I have a large amount of bog Oak and am just wondering how to price and sell it. Are there any rough guides on price?

    Midway between what you want for it, and what someone will pay for it..

    I've seen and used lots of bog oak. And just because it comes out of the bog

    it doesn't automatically mean its worth a lot of money. Good solid bog oak is scarce.

    Split, cracked , flakey bog oak is plentiful.

    Good solid oak results in nice quality pieces.

    Poor quality oak is firewood.

    I made this from top quality bog oak 20 years ago.

    Just had a look on DD.

    A lump of oak 18 ft x 2 ft dia, asking 120 euro.

    If its good, its reasonably priced.

    Some of the ads are away with the fairies in all honesty.

    And some of the sculptures, if you could call them that,

    well, I,ve said enough.

    Throw a few pics up, and i,m sure you will get some guidance.
