If I were the Co-Op I’d be upset they keep mentioning Fresco’s when the co-op are sponsoring Corrie

Devster looking slim and trim like the sex-god he is. Wherever he really was when 'in India' agreed with him. He has lost a good bit of weight.

I actually feel sorry for Vicky. Robert is a horrible person.

Wherever he was he didn't take any acting lessons unfortunately.

I don't. He's a gutless coward who should have told Michelle about Vicky and the baby, it will come back to bite him in the future. How long does he think he can stop M&V bumping into each other and keep the baby a secret? He should know from his former brother-in-law Peter what that leads to...

He is a ridiculous character alright. How many times has a he lied???

The best character at the moment is Emma. I think that she’s planning a blinder.

Love Emma, she’s so cute and sweet. I hope Liz manages to keep her big gob shut long enough for Emma to at least plan her Dad's funeral and start to grieve before she tells her about Steve.

Yeah, she's good and Corrie still try to play her off as a female Kirk, dim and thick.

    She's a modern day Raquel.

  • Registered Users Posts: 304 ✭✭Pamela Landy

She was in an episode of Vera a while back and was so different. A Geordie single mother being pimped out as an escort. I had to look up IMDB to check it was the same girl. Made me look at her differently and she can act.

They need to give her better roles and stop the dim witted nonsense or she'll be off.

How did Geoff know that post was for him?

Rotten bloody sky box didn't record down Wednesdays episodes of Corrie. Feel right thrown out now. I see Steve knows about his new offspring then, and scheming Geoff seems to be back.

Someone needs to tell Kate that Maya Beach from "The Beach" is closed till 2021. She'll be upset about that.

As funny as this would be, can any of us really stick another round of Kate crying? :pac:

Poor Emma, she's so sweet and it's heartbreaking to see her all alone at such a tough time. Mad that she has to try to get people to cover her shifts though, wtf

Virgin had football on so they bounced Corrie to one of the other channels, and the series link can't follow that. I had to get them in demand.

aye - thats what i have it on, series link. Funny enough though when they pee'd about with it before due to football some time ago and put corrie on VM2 i'm pretty sure it got intelligent and recorded the episodes ... not this time though

God, they are really going all out making Geoff a despicable person aren't they? - look at the nasty git at the end of the programme - poor whatsherface (his partner)

I'm convinced the writers discuss how they can make Gemma even more disgusting for each new episode. Stuffing her face in Roy's tonight, and we're supposed to laugh at that rubbish.

I honestly think I'll switch off when she's in labour. I don't even want to think what they've planned for those scenes...and I don't mean the little ones being born.

despicable character ... but supposed to be so different the actor IRL ... think she is so quiet in the real world , and she like brings her knitting into the studio and does knitting in between her scenes and knits stuff for the other characters lol, you wouldnt think it would ya

Her mother did tell her tonight to shut her mouth while eating, she should have told her that 20 years ago.

    Maria: 'Her father is dead.'
Sean: 'So is my sex life'.

I didn’t like Emma when she joined but she is lovely actress I’m glad she is around.

As for Gemma & her mother they are disgusting

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I missed a few episodes this week.
Did Emma not realise before now that her mother spent years working in the same salon she found herself in?
    That's a bit of a stretch.

anyone notice that when emma first joined the street , i mean when she was going out with David , she wasnt so much of a ditzy airhead ... I reckon about the time the writers concocted up a storyline that she could be Steve's daughter they sent her character on a spiral of daughter of steve-like caricature and daftness. but these last few days (of course with the storyline thats in it) she has been very level headed

Nah, her character was always ditzy from the start. Even when she first started and David moved her in to annoy someone she was ditzy

Yes. A typical example of how poor the production is. Suddenly the writers came up with a new storyline and her character changes. Next she'll be running for Mayor of Wetherfield.

I want Gemma, her brother and mam gone from Corrie. They are ruining Corrie for me. They are digusting revolting characters and they are not funny at all

    Gemma was Ok (in small doses), the brother Paul is an interesting character, a non-stereotypical Gay but the Mother is utterly vile. Although I am intrigued by the upcoming storyline;
Paul was sexually abused by his Mother's partner when he was younger

The whole storyline of Steve being Emma's dad has been done to death over and over on soaps.

    Hate it.

Bethany with her stupid fatuation with her abusers. Thought she outgrew that rubbish.

Why is she back to being braindead as a new start.

I thought maureen lipman was yeeted out of it in the shop by Devindra last week? - whats she doing working back there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,362 ✭✭✭landofthetree

Why wouldn't Bethany just ring up the police?

Why wouldn't Bethany just ring up the police?

That’s what I thought, but then I remembered that it would make too much sense so is obviously the last thing anyone in Corrie would do

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,842 ✭✭✭✭Andy From Sligo

being honest , I think I would have done same or worse to that geezer if he came in, and all that laughing and playing happy families with his mrs and daughter , that would just wind me up more - so I kinda see where Daniel was coming from

I would imagine that this is going to lead to Bethany getting closure and moving, both from her abuse and the actress from the street.
