Isn’t he the same one who delivered Vincent to Aidan’s gang?

Could Carmel become the next Mrs. Ian Beale :p

I would not be surprised if the show brings back Steve Owen next, burnt to a crisp but rises again, if Martin Kemp does not return, recast with bad burns he could have had lots of surgeries

    OMG Stuart is a Peado
is he or is that his daughter he mentioned earlier that he would kill for? the last message said I will collect you from the school gates one day which made me think he's pretending to Mick that he sees her a lot but he doesn't and maybe he will collect her at the school gate and drive away with her but i'm not sure of his intentions, he is a bit mad and i'm surprised Linda contacted him, has Mick no other friends he could have had a lads night out with?

The photos seemed to be of several different girls, and the message said something like 'I can't wait to finally meet you' after a string of flirty toned messages.
Linda contacting him makes zero sense, he's the last person she'd choose, but it seems they must shoehorn Stuart in some way so this is it...

EastEnders is to tackle a topical storyline as it is revealed that Stuart Halfway is secretly a paedophile hunter who launches operations to catch out child sex predators. Similar groups are regularly at the centre of news stories as they catch out and film abusers who groom what they think are children online. However, there is huge debate over whether such operations do more harm than good. In upcoming EastEnders scenes, Mick Carter will be suspicious of Stuart after finding inappropriate messages to young girls on his phone and he confronts him over it. But he will later discover that Stuart is actually fighting to bring down predators and has been disguising himself as children to lure out abusers.

This should be a great story line for eastenders. Sadly paedophile hunters groups who are keeping our children safe by doing the job that police and government are paid to do are putting up at least a dozen or more live streams a day showing the paedophiles who are grooming young children constantly. Some are as young as 8 years of age. Delighted this is now been highlighted. Hopefully certain judges will also be eastenders fans and realise the seriousness of this crime. And stop letting off paedophiles and child porn down loaders with either a warning or a suspended sentence.

Not another storyline with Mick Carter at the centre of it. So sick of seeing him involved in everything that happen in the Square.

And incredibly annoying .The minute he and Mick and Half Baked appear I switch off

Stuart comes across like he would seriously hurt Linda, and now he is helping kids against paedophiles

I think maybe Jack, Woody or Max as a paedophile hunter would be better or bring in another new character, Ted's son, Hayley's father, Vincent and Donna's foster brother or Mas cousin or brother

I enjoyed the scenes last night with Tameka Empson (Kim Fox). It was good to see a more serious performance instead of her usual comic role. She obviously has a good connection with the young actress who plays her daughter.

I love seeing her and Pearl together ! I keep waiting for Pearl to say something inappropriate ! She is a great little actress !

I've been enjoying seeing Kim become more serious than she previously was, it's nice to see her grow up a bit

I don't like the character of Stuart but I do think it's an interesting angle on the paedophile hunter topic - a guy who just happens to be unhinged, totally unstable, but like many is disillusioned by what he perceives as the police's failure to track down and punish child abusers and rapists, taking matters into his own hands... it'll be interesting to see how it plays out, because with a more stable character it'd all be a bit more clear cut - good guy, frustrated, trying to do the right thing. With Stuart, it could easily go down the road of torture, murder etc - I mean, he's such an angry guy that he's unlikely to be happy with just delivering these paedophiles to the police for their punishment, he's going to want to exact his own kind of justice!
But of course, Mick is involved so it'll be as much about his 'mental anguish' facial expressions as it will be about Stuart anyway!

LOl so true . Micks mental anguish face is much the same as his constipated or deep love , or distress , or agony face .

Danny dyer is an amazing actor. He shows up the guys who have only done eastenders all their lives. He's done so much more than them and it shows e.g. stage plays and massive films.

Danny Dyer's acting 'ability' consists of squinting his eyes. And as for his cockney speak! My hubby's a genuine cockney, he does use the slang, especially when in the company of his London friends, but he laughs at the constant stream of rhyming slang Mick Carter uses.

Love his rhyming slang. Sometimes u reckon he makes it up. He was an amazing guest with his mum on mrs Brown's boys recently. And the fact his heritage shows he's related to royality is brilliant.

30 million people watched - a figure that will probably never be achieved again by a soap. Did the Hotten Bypass Crash even attract half as many?

There is some flawed logic in that whole business, what real 14 year old would actually agree to meet a man in his 40s in a chicken shop. Around my area a mans house was set on fire because of it and the people in the village even started to bully the mans relatives like nieces and nephews

The research was first class. Seemed like a live sting . So glad eastenders are now tackling this. Hopefully parents will be more aware of the way children are picked out and targeted on internet and various on line games.

Missed Eastenders last night - any idea when last night's episode will be repeated?! Is that the episode that's being shown tomorrow afternoon on RTE? Episode description for that one is 'Denise accidentally reveals someone else's secret. Masood gets more than he bargained for'

Because I think the paedophiles don’t tell them their real age, I think some of them pretend to be teenage boys themselves.
