Dumping an old bed

(Mods) I know a bed is not an appliance - but I wasn't sure where to post -move if you need.

I have a bed that I broke recently and wondered how on earth can I get rid of it? Steel frame, metal latts etc...

I googled local bring centres etc but couldn't see anything

Any advice is welcome

(I'm in the north east Kildare/Dublin border area)

If it is metal then advertise it on jumbletown. You might have some cousins or someone thats wants it for scrap metal may pick it up.

DCC will collect up to five large items of rubbish for 40 euro. This is very handy for large furniture. I'm not sure if all councils offer this service

DCC bring centre at Ringsend (just before the East Link bridge) takes large furniture items, for a charge I think. It's possible other ones do as well, but I know that one definitely does.
