Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Assistant Finance Director job at previous employer

I have come across an Assistant Finance Director job advertisement at my previous employer I left a few months ago. I left in great terms and at the time there appeared to be no immediate opportunities for career progression. I left for a job as a management accountant in a higher profile company and everyone was understanding as to why I accepted it. Obviously there must be a bit of restructuring going on in my previous employer.
I am currently not very sure about my new job. I do not have the required years of experience for the job on offer but I have the advantage of having worked there in the past. I am tempted to send an e-mail to my old boss to see if I have any chance for the role. What does everyone think? If I could get this job it would be too good to turn down.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If you left on good terms, then I don't see why you shouldn't try.
