Amateur art exhibitions?

    Hi, myself and my partner recently moved into a new house and we're looking to decorate the walls with nice, original pictures by amateur Irish artists. Is there anywhere online I can find out about exhibitions? Are there any decent weekly/monthly exhibitions we should know about? I've done some online research but haven't been able to find much.

    We did come across one in Rialto a while ago which was great but can't remember the name of the art group.

    Any suggestions most welcome.

    Art on the Green or Photography on the Green, both of those run on various weekends in Dublin (Stephen's Green) and worth googling.

    There's also Merrion Square.

    Where are you based?
