Hi all, not sure if this the correct forum to ask.

I am looking for advice regards family friendly hotels, 2x adults and 3x children, most seem to offer self catering which would not suit.

I am looking for recommendations for family suites/interconneting rooms in hotels in Ireland, I live in Dublin so anywhere outside the capital.

    Thanks in advance!

    :D

Not sure about interconnecting rooms by we've stayed in the Brandon in New Ross twice. Lovely hotel with nice grounds and a good base for exploration of Wexford. We were two adults and two kids

Cork International Airport hotel do the interconnecting rooms. It’s a nice hotel for a break-they have a playroom for younger kids, cinema room for older kids. The bar is nice for food too.
Last time we were there we booked one family room (can’t remmeber what type) for 2 adults and 2 kids but when we arrived they’d allocated us an interconnecting room so had two rooms with extra beds and would def have fit 3 kids.

Close to Cork, Fota and Kinsale etc so nice location and not a normal ‘airport’ hotel.

Waterford castle hotel has beautiful self catering houses on their grounds, stayed there with a bunch of family/kids a few years ago

Think we got one of those too. We had 2 houses between a gang of us. Really nice and well equipped, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer etc. The kids loved the little ferry onto the island as well.
