Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Scare mongering article.

I know it knows what Im doing, its doing so at my behest. Thats why fit.google.com is full of useful data. Its also how maps can tell you the traffic on Leeson Street will be brutal etc.

Convenience is the enemy of privacy and people are lazy.

Just came across this article https://qz.com/1183559/if-youre-using-an-android-phone-google-may-be-tracking-every-move-you-make/ and I was wondering if anyone ever stopped using google services entirely? What was the experience in going "google free"?

That article is doing the rounds on reddit and other forums.

The feature of the tracking can easily be disabled/Turned off. :-

You also get the option to disable it when setting up your phone.

Give Data and Goliath a read its a great book on big data and digital weapons like stuxnet, its informative and far from scaremongering. Ill put it to you like this your android device is probably the least of your "worries" , any other phone OS you transition to is going to be pretty much the same.
