Children’s book- king Ferdia

Hey! I’ve recently adopted a dog, and named him Ferdia. And it’s reminded me of a book I had as a child in which there was a king Ferdia. But I can’t remember anything else about it! Can anyone else remember that book or what it might have been called? I’m 31, so it’s probably going back 25 years!
