Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for current nfo on East Clare lakes for fishing

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any current info on how the lakes of East Clare are fishing for pike?

Taking three novices down next weekend, hoping to get out on a boat if the water levels aren't too high.

Also, if the water levels are v high, can anyone recommend a lake you could still rent and launch a boat on? Would rather go out on a smaller lake rather than Derg if at all possible.

    Thanks in advance.

Cheers for that, actually ended up there for a few hours on Saturday, no luck. Fairly high water everywhere down there last weekend, weren't getting onto the stands without wellies.

I'd second Lough Bridget. I make a few trips down from Galway every year. It's not great this time of the year but I'd recommend going back when the water level drops.

Thanks Brendan. I'll be back there the end of the month so hopefully the water levels will be lower. Fished from the Silvergrove stands last time, will maybe try another spot next time.
