Jobs depends on what area you applied for - said they get calls in per area how many they need and they inform applicants then ..

When you say April to Sept and someone else says all year around. Are they the same panels. I had interview (Cancelled) in Dublin on Saturday but my Brother who indicated April to Sept has an interview in Tralee next week. We are both in top 50 of the panel

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13 metalhead785

    I got interviewed and I was 57

Thanks so much for your reply, were the interviews on in Dublin and did you know where the position you were interviewing for would be?

I’d say so just May to Sep can be sometimes term time positions people leaving earlier leave or whatever leave coming up . I had all year round down 8 years ago and I was called same time as someone who had May to Sep . Depends what’s going I guess . Not sure tbh

Very straightforward, lasts 5 mins max. Asks about past experience, have you customer service experience, have you experience using Microsoft word, have you dealt with customers over the phone.
    It’s very basic!

    Hi,
I'm placed in the late 80's in Kildare and have heard nothing yet. What's your OOM?

Oh perfect, thanks so much! Do they give any indication of what position you might get or when you'll hear if you got a job?

Hey guys, I also was successful at the interview.

I asked my interviewer what the shortest contract was, and she said "around 8 weeks" i also asked what the longest may be and she said, "there may be some extended sick leave or maternity leave to cover, so perhaps 6-9 months." Finally I asked what are the chances that a contract may be extended. She said that " each department is different, don't rely on extensions. "

Hope that helps, and good luck all!

    Hi guys,
Does anyone know roughly what number they've reached in Dublin? I'm 390ish and have been out of the country and a bit worried about missing a call about an interview. Any help much appreciated!

Hi all I'm 103 for Longford and have been called for an interview. I'm just wondering what my chances are of getting into this temp CO role should I be successful at interview? I did the same interview last year for a different region where I placed third overall but got nothing even thought I was successful at interview. So I'm thinking that based on my score this year I don't stand a chance? Would I be right in thinking that my oom of 103 is too far out? TIA and sorry for the rant, just really want this job.

I've been called too and I'm 165, I was much lower in a different region last year and was never called. I thinkLongford seem to have more temporary contracts. Best of luck with interview

    Hiya

I got 99 OOM for Dublin and have done my 5 - 10 minute interview. I forgot to take my photo ID in on the day and dropped it in later.

I have since received an email saying that I was successful - so waiting patiently now for a long term contract....

From previous years experience, the call came through end of April, mid May starting a week later so expecting the same for this years comp! :)

I'm in the top 10 and had my interview last weekend. Heard during the week that I was successful.

Any idea what's the approx number of contracts in Kilkenny each year? I assume it's mainly the government buildings on the hebron rd and possibly the garda station and ETB. Can't think of anywhere outside of the city centre really...

    Hi All,

Just received a call offering me a TCO position for 26 weeks, had my interview less than 10 days ago, and my OOM was in the 70’s for Dublin. Keep an eye on your phone for a call as they are now placing people for TCO 2018.

Yeah, next Monday the 9th of April, I didn't accept it as I am doing another temp job at the moment but I just wanted to give an update about the offer. The TCO placement was for Dept of Social Protection.

It's nothing to worry about. A very short interview with just one interviewer. More like a chat really. They have a look at your form and your work experience. Questions like "can you use email?" (!) ..etc.
