Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Oh wow a "whos the snowflake" debate. Has this thread been moved to AH?

It is pretty much the usual. Domination but not breakthrough.

Need to get noses in front and then it could be any score, just ease the pressure.

Sanchez tearing into players for shít passing is good to see.

Ref is really struggling in this game.

Probably the only positive thing about that half. :pac:

Ref terrible let some serious fouls on mctominy go no peno(s)? and easy bookings on united players now sigh

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,576 ✭✭✭deaddonkey15

The inconsistency kills me. Sanchez challenges for a ball on the ground, is late, misses the ball and gets the player. Yellow card and foul. That Huddersfield player challenges for a ball in the air, is late, misses the ball and cleans out McTominay. No punishment and no foul.

I take it you mean the service to him has been very poor again.

Things not falling for Lukaku today again. Bring on Martial? Maybe try to pacewhore them with Lingard, Sanchez & Martial after 55mins?

He's launching into the ref, and would want to be careful now that he's on a yellow.

    Great half from him though.

Pogba rested or dropped following Spurs?

poor first touch again, waiting for the ball to come to his feet and defender just runs past him and takes it, passing not crisp.

He was mad at the referee not the pkayers

He was shouting at Mata when he and Lukaku fecked up the counter attack.

And also at Lingard earlier in the half when he rounded the keeper but chipped it into his hands instead of laying it back.

The absolutely state of the officiating. Surely a new low. Disgraceful.

    Maybe you missed it.

He ate lukaku alive and then lingard.

The lukaku one might have been premature as it was actually a decent ball into lingard imo.

But we need more of that. The descion making from a number of players all season has been pretty horrific. Martial/mata/rashford consistently

It’s gas. Lukaku is the new Fellaini it seems.
And calling for Pogba to come on after the utter sh1t show from him during the week. The hypocrisy is strong from Bangkok.

In the whole game his touch let him down once i'd say on a rocket into him and he still made the ball his.

    He's been grand.

The mediocrcy behind him and beside him is the problem as usual.

Sanchez playing some great stuff. Can turn on a sixpence. Of course it doesn’t help that the ref seems to think it’s within the laws to drag him to the ground to stop him running.

    Insane.

Who's this Scottish Co comm on Bien?

Some guy called Andy Walker on the world feed. Maybe they’re using that on Bein?

Whatever about the referee, United are utterly clueless when they work themselves into a good position. They say you shouldn’t worry about a striker when he’s missing chances, but when they’re not getting chances - that’s a big concern with Lukaku. There’s little chemistry between him and virtually all our creative players except for Martial.

Jose has compounded poor team selection on Wednesday with poor team selection today. He should leave the sulking on the training ground.

Pogba has been in excellent form before the spurs game and is one of our best attacking players, even you know that.

lukaku has been poor for weeks now

The only thing worse today than lukaku is that referee. Absoloutely brain damaged stuff from him.

Always astonishing that they get paid to be this bad. There's parents who ref under 12's who get more right tbh

Just to clarify I'm not reaching bangkok levels of criticism for Lukaku. I'm more wondering if full speed might help us unlock them as a plan B. Lukaku has done well enough with the crap supply.

Really love how fast Lingard and Sanchez appear to have clicked

    Sanchez is doing ok.

Not specifically talking about today though. Pretty much every match he's been slated in he's had fck all to service into him and todays no different.

his movement off the ball is very poor, always has been even in his everton days. doesnt make enough runs off the defender to try and get a pass into feet

Right indeed, fair play. Just when you typed it, Alexis was only after having it out with the ref.

I was pissed off with Jesse there with that chance. Well and good if it was Valencia or McTominay running in for the pullback, but it was Alexis and instead Jesse was a bit selfish.

I don't like to see players getting too worked up with their own team mates during a match, but Jesse deserved the 'Whyyyyyyyy?!' pose from Alexis there.

I guess that's what happens when you have players out wide who can cross.

Edit: Valencia immediately shows on the other side he's not one of those.
