Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sourness on about Pogba again.

    Painful

    Stellar analysis.

We are miles better in every single position on the field. No excuses today

Ashley Young after in my opinion being at fault for goals against Spurs waltzes back into the team despite Shaw performing well :/

  • What channels the match on other than Sky?

As I said a midfield 2! We will be ok against Newcastle I thin however.

Matic pulling a triple shift again.

Stupid line-up. Fully expect it to be punished, even against Newcastle.

Matic lucky he started the season well. I’m a massive Matic fan from back in first spell with Chelsea.

He’s been very poor since the turn of the year .

    No he hasn't.

Agree he has been quietly solid majority of games it's the role he plays goes unnoticed so often.

  • Cheers, couldn't be listening to that Bitter Lemon on Sky.
Not sure who is worse, him or Keown.

He's been working a double shift too defensively.

I agree that the team lining out should have enough to beat Newcastle but a few weeks ago your pre game analysis was "we are miles better in every single position on the field except for Kane".

I’d guess he’s just not making th bench due to Carrick being fit again. He’s been awful all season so can understand him not being involved.

A shame really. His confidence is low, he’s been ultra conservative in the games he has played. The arrival of Matic has kind of put an end to his usefulness.
All his best work last season came in that area.

This team has thrashed better teams than Newcastle this year. It won't work against big teams but I'd be expecting us to put a few past them today.

He's a quarter page in the Sunday Times

"Pogba plays like a schoolboy running after the ball in the playground"

I don't know the context. Is he being asked the questions or does he just find a way to bring it up while answering something not directly linked. I read his quotes though and it's hard to argue with what he said. I think that's why a lot of United fans don't want to see Pogba with defensive responsibilities.

Love playing at St. James' Park. A lot of good memories and probably my favourite stadium in England apart from OT.

Why would anyone listen to Souness? Even your phone knows to autocorrect his name.

Pogba isn't right. Lethargic as **** and looks like he is moving awkwardly

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

    Pogba looks lost.

  • Sanchez limping too :/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Pogba will be off by 20 minutes, I'd say.

Lukaku is phenomenally poor at winning possession of the ball.

  • Yea, midfield 2. No balance.
    Midfield consistantly under pressure.

Lot of mini decisions gone against us so far. Hate when that happens

Agree but i dont think we can blame pigba this time he is playing firther forward along with lingard seems like matic is left on his own back there don't know what Jose idea is.

    Pogba doesn't look fit
Like I said I think we will be ok against Newcastle. They were expected to give it welly the first few minutes.
But against better opposition it's more obvious. Especially if we lose possession / caught on the break.

    Pogba carrying an injury

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Don't think I've ever been happier with a nutmeg as Young on Shelvey there.

    Maybe O'Shea on Figo

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,387 ✭✭✭Tom.D.BJJ

Just some bad decision making so far
