Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

People seem to want to criticize him no matter how well he plays.

Ball just drifted away the first time.. would have been a messy miss if he tried for it

    You misspelled person.

Thought Sanchez standing foot was to close to the ball to hit first time or at least caused him to hesitate until he re adjusted his feet. Think he thought he would hit it off his standing foot.

A goal is coming I think.

It was a messy miss anyway.

Swinging at empty net > composing yourself while players pile back in.

  • On for Lingard surely

I hope for Pogbas sake he is injured.

Why did he hesitate first time???

Looked like his standing leg would have been in the way of a first time hit. Had to wait for ball to move out from under his feet.

Hahaha Yedlin holding off Young and Lingard just casually collects the ball from the pair.

    Smalling

Gives away a quick free kick at the edge of the box
Got lucky the ref didn't give a penalty against him
Dives in midfield, giving away a free kick that results in a goal

    ****er is a liability.

  • Stupid from Smalling

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

What the **** is Valencia doing there?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Smalling can **** off tbh. Diving there, doesn't win the flick on.

Good man Smalling. Always good for a brainfart.

Not fit for purpose for a side with United's ambition.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,169 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

McTominay for Pogba. We need a midfield

Edit: or Carrick. Good riddance to him. Now we might play.

    Terrible from Smalling.

Nice one smalling. No challenge from Pogba there either. He's been a passenger since kick off. Unbelievable that he remained on for so long.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

Pogba you clown!! What is our defense at

    Pathetic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Pathetic from Smalling bit still should have been defended.

    Atrocious from Pogba and Valencia.

Pogba has been an utter disgrace today.

He is injured. Jose 100% to blame. Should never have started

Sure yeah it’s Jose’s fault. He made him hold his thumb up to say he was ok 10 minutes in.

The player selfishly continued to the detriment of the team

Both need to be blamed, I guess.

Pogba says he's ok, and Jose feels if Pogba is, he's our best chance to create chances. Both need to take responsibility for being wrong there, I guess.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,978 ✭✭✭BenK

Funny thing is there is still plenty of time left but I don't feel confident in this United side getting anything out of the game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 533 ✭✭✭MurDawg

Newcastle have played very well going forward tbf

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

What the fúck is Mourinho thinking really?

Going away to Spurs, where a draw would've been a fine result and he plays a fúcking brainless team and formation. We get soundly beaten.

Going away to Newcastle, somewhere he has never won and he plays the same fúcking brainless team and formation and we're very likely to be beaten again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

We’re blunt as f*ck up top. Sanchez the only one putting an effort in.

Has Mourinho ever won a match at Tyneside? My son says No.

Oh absolutely. It’s the “Jose is 100% to blame” comment that I was replying to.

Pogba has been an embarrassment today either way. If he was injured from the start he couldn’t put the team before himself and if he wasn’t it was an utterly pathetic effort of a performance
