Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

he was clearly injured against newcastle and i would say he is injured for the game today as well but they just said he was sick

Why say he isnt injured then? And why say he is sick today? Clubs are not gonna say "ahh sure feck it lets just say he is sick instead of injured".

Popped in here after hearing the Pogba news to see if there were some tinfoil hats on and sure enough....... :)

I think this is absolutely just an unfortunate coincidence.

Really looking forward to seeing Bailly back. We've missed the partnership between him and Jones that we had at the start of the season.

Can't stand seeing Smalling and Jones together. You'd think they would have a good chemistry and understanding of each other but one of them always f ups big time whenever we concede.

clubs dont respond to lots of things, to transfer speculation, clubs dont respond to players private lives, clubs dont say when a player has failed a drugs test, that normally comes under the (injured category)

did you not think pogba was injured yourself watching the newcastle game last week??

    Isabel Atkin.

She's being played out of position.

  • Hello folks, would be nice to see a midfield 3 today!

Rui Faria's getting away quietly in the background there. We used to give Mike Phelan shít, likewise with Phil Neville as Moyes' #2 and Giggs as Van Gaal's.

What the fúck has Rui done for us lately?!

So if we lose, draw or don't win comprehensively today, Rui is my shout for a bit of a scolding. Sure why not, let's give it a go.

I wish we could blend some second string guys in there tbh, or give one or two a rest. Maybe...
    Sanchez
    Martial ---Mata--- Lingard
    Carrick - McT

Let Lukaku and Matic get a bit of a rest for the first 60 minutes and see if they're needed after that.

I know Jose will play a full strength team, mind....

Nice to see Ethan Hamilton get the call up,even if it was at the last minute.
    No gaps on our bench.;)

Given some of his past transgressions, I was surprised to see Rui's name stay out of the reports of the tunnel bust-up after the City game.

He would have been my favourite, 4/7 on at the most, to be leading the charge there. Although, he does have that look of 'Meh, I'll just stab you in the dark of the car park after the dust settles' look about him. It's the eyes, all in the eyes.

Phelan would be good craic on your uncle's stag. Neville might be handy in a pub table quiz. Giggs would be good to organise that uncle's stag. But Rui would keep you alive at midnight in Tijuana while you walked around downtown in a suit made of Pesos.

    Todays team

    Romero

    Young
    Lindelof
    Smalling
    Shaw

    Carrick---Matic---McTominay

    Mata
    Lukaku
    Sanchez

I reckon it could be a 442 diamond formation.. young and Shaw providing the width.. I’ve been hoping he would play it.. it’s basically a 433 anyways

    So

    Sanchez-Lukaku
    Mata
    Matic-mcTom
    Carrick
    Shaw-Smalling-Lindelof-young
    Romero

What's wrong with Pogba? Assume injured.

Seems like a very coincidental sickness...and so this story will run on for another few days. Jose said he didn't know or care how long Pogba would be out for...that he's focused on the game.

Jose Mourinho speaking to @DesKellyBTS on the severity of Paul Pogba's injury...

    "I don't know, and honestly I don't care."

    WTF

Don't make a big deal out of it, he's said this about many players. That when they're injured he focuses on who's available etc

Do we have to go through this every time someone is injured and he says it?

This constantly taking things out of context and conspiracy theories on injuries etc boring as fck.

I might be bit harsh on bangkok, when I read his posts I understand why journalism level is so low and it's easy to see target audience.

Sorry bangkok, someone had to say this.

So true it's a world where normal news don't grab attention but shock news gains clicks.

I'd be more worried about DeGea.

I heard that he refused to travel when he heard that Pogba had been dropped.

Unsure if this part is true, but apparently he chose to get into a taxi with Jonny Evsns instead of getting on the team bus.

Carrick, Matic and McTominey in midfield is slow. Would of liked to see either Carrick or Matic drop out for somebody else
