Leaving Pogba on the bench is certainly eyebrow raising no matter how much of a doomsday spin others here wish to put on it but you can't deny its a risk. Jose is leaving himself open for massive amounts of criticism if it backfires. That's not even mentioning who else is on the bench.

Pogba refused a contract with Utd previously because of not getting first team recognition and now a kid from the reserves is taking the place of one of footballs most expensive players, just consider that for a moment. Its a risk of Jose turning the player against him and thusly the club.

And now Herrera's off and with Matic and McTominay as the MF two Pogba can play in his best positions. Its a big 60mins for him. If he plays poor and gets subbed it will be humiliating on the highest stage and its a big chance for him to prove his worth to Jose.

Lets hope he shines, so far he looks disinterested.

Don’t know about you guys but I hate a 0-0 away game in the first leg. Commentators always play it up as being a good result but 1 goal for the other team at Old Trafford creates an awful panic. Even if we lose 2-1 I somehow rather that bizarrely.

We're a shambles. De Gea saving us again. All that pressure at the end of the half came from us not being able to work a corner to our advantage, giving the ball away cheaply and letting them get at us on the counter.
