Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Crimecall: are the suspect cctv stills deliberately blurred?

Is it just me or are the cctv stills of the suspects of various crimes deliberately blurred so we can’t really tell who they are? It seems to me from tonight’s program that three images shown are very pixilated.

Most cctv is rubbish. Quality is regularly sacrificed for storage space

They should refuse to show anything but HD and insurers should refuse cover for any premises without HD, joke not to have it, blurred pictures are not worth a flying feck.

You'd be surprised by how many folks are positively identified based on what may initially appear a poor or grainy image - folks have quite the capacity to recognise someone they know by their shape / silhouette or gait (in the case of a moving image).
