Adding fungal spores and nutrient to concrete sounds a strange way to fix concrete but.

When cracks form in the concrete, water and oxygen get in and the spores grow. The spores act as a catalyst for calcium carbonate crystals which fill the cracks. When the water is gone, the fungi go back to spores, ready to repair future cracking.

There've been other self repairing materials before, Like plastics with bubbles of glue, but they have all seemed weaker than the pure material because of the voids and had an all or nothing one time fix.

This looks like there's no voids to start with and that a second crack in the same are could be repaired.

Maybe you could dry out a crack and then add nutrients if you need even more repairs ?

Biological solution to "healing" concrete cracks. Has merit.
