Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

None of those have been removed. If RTE is ever removed it won’t come without warning but after a probably fairly public row.

In the meantime, in the immortal words of Chris O’Dowd, have you tried plugging your Sky Digibox out and plugging it back in again?

Before I try plugging out and in again let me say.

UTV was never available on the main menu

Either were BBC 3 and BBC television and Channels

No BBC Radio channels on main menu

BBC Three, when it still broadcast, was on the EPG (in SD only). BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Four, CBBC, and CBeebies are on the epg.

UTV is not Sky’s fault. It is no longer on the EPG on any Irish platform. That was UTV’s own decision when UTV Ireland launched. Now that TV3 holds the rights to practically all ITV programming there is no chance of it coming back either. You can’t blame Sky for the contractual arrangements two other companies enter into.

Sky can’t just put channels on its EPG. It needs the consent of the channels concerned. In fact there is an Ofcom regulated EPG policy which Sky must strictly adhere to.
