Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a Samsung UE40D5520 and I've read online that, despite hooking it up to the internet via my wireless connection, it doesn't support the Netflix app.

What is therefore the best way for me to be able to watch Netflix on it? I have a PS4 but its hooked up to a different TV and I don't want to move it.

Yeah that was one of the TV's that had problems with the netflix app so wasn't released to this set.

    Loads of options.

Chromecast - Cast Netflix from phone
Cheapest Samsung Smart Blu Ray Player
    Amazon Fire Stick/Box
    Roku Stick/Box
    Apple TV
    Android Box

Just to name a few. look up on adverts, you should get a roku for about 25 - 30 quid probably the cheapest option or second hand chromecast for 15-20

Chromecast is a nice option as it’s so low powered you may be able power it from the tv usb plug without more wall adapters. It also nice it doesn’t need another remote being controlled from the phone.

    “Roll it back”

Chromecast was recommended to me today alright. I was told about 39.99 in Currys/PC World?

Where can I get a Fire stick? Amazon don't seem to ship it to Ireland.

You need to get the “international” edition (Fire TV Basic) from Amazon.com.

I’m sure the way different Amazon divisions deal with Ireland makes sense to someone in the company. I’m not sure whom.

I got a Blu-ray player, has Netflix and a few other things...plays my Blu-ray collection and can upscale DVD's as well... worth thinking about if you have any physical media.

If OP has Virgin Media Horizon, Netflix is on ch 999.

We've a Samsung TV at home which doesn't support the Netflix app so we bought Chromecast and we cast Netflix from either the phone or tablet app. Very easy

What’s handy too is that if you just have TV with Virgin, Netflix still works on the box (doesn’t need any internet connection or subscription)
