    Had a big shower of grapuel and snow about 17.30 here near Tralee, whitened the place. Dropped below freezing by 18.30 and -0.9C now, had to get ice off the car window a short time ago.

    Hopefully greystones will get something. Getting very short bursts of hail/graupel every now and then. Most cars have it frozen onto them though.

    In a clear slot and saw one flash to my south and 2 to my NW.
    Great cloudscapes with Moon illuminating the Cb clouds all around looks brilliant.

    'Light low drifting snow' being reported at Dublin AP at 0800.

    Not often we see that in Ireland (with our usual wet/sloppy snow).
