    Hi,


    I'm considering switching electricity and gas to Electric Ireland, I see there is an offer of 8.5% discount, with online billing and DD with €175 switching bonus. Is it possible to get this offer with level pay?

    Many thanks for your interest in Electric Ireland.

    You can indeed avail of this offer, and then set up the system of having the same amount (subject to review) collected by direct debit every month, on a date of your choosing between the 1st and 28th.

    With Electric Ireland, this is called the Equaliser. Once the gas account is registered, Equaliser can be set up on it immediately. For electricity however, a minimum of two scheduled bills are required to be paid first (both must be accurate, so if any of them is estimated, just send us a meter-reading immediately if you can here on Boards.ie to correct the bill in sufficient time for the direct debit).
