Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Mcmanaman

' great to see so many great Porto fans here''

    He is some tool

Always a few scummy people around .
Scummy Porto cvnts, should be thrown out the ground

It's bad what they did but to be honest I don't get why the tribute happened.

Yes, it's sad that the player died but he was not connected with either club.

I think they do too many of these tributes now and they lose their impact and meaning.

Unless you actually get the channels as part of the broadband package you need to use the internet in the first place.

Can’t stand him. I’d take Michael Owen on co commentary before Macca

Have to disagree with you there. Tragic death of a player which postponed all seria A matches at the weekend. UEFA would have been hammered if they didn’t honor him.

High boot from Aboubakar there, should be sent off if we’re being consistent with that rule. :P

Im listening to the 2 geniuses on FS2

"Back to casillias who one time toes it over the center liiiine. "

"Liverpool of course now without continue"

Fair enough but I just find every 2nd game seems to have a tribute beforehand and it's just too much.

Also don't get me started on the poppy and military stuff .

This lad is alternating between Emre Yan and Emre Jan constantly, used both in one sentence.

What Moreno just did there, thankfully Robertoson never does.

    I'm already sick of Moreno

It’s 60 seconds of your life. In this instance anyway it was totally valid. The whole of Italian football is in mourning. Italy are part of UEFA. Not honoring him would have been crass and heartless.

a bit sloppy and flat so far

I've been sick of him since the Europe League Final...

The worst full back to ever play for Liverpool.

    Yes.

    Worse than Konchesky.

Came in late so just checked the team was not surprised by the defence and goalkeeper but why have both Mane and Firmino on I taught only 1 of the 3 (including salah) to be playing thought Ings or Solonke would play

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,374 ✭✭✭robwen

Were they singing Jose Mourinho the plebs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,930 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Mane needs Fun Bobby to score first so he can copy the celebration :)

    Fair enough.

It's nothing to do with 60 seconds of my life. Just think they're done too much and lost their original impact.

Anyhow, there's a game on now.

Hopefully he'll get booked which would rule him out if the q-final

Porto probably already out of time.

Liverpool players really do love hitting the frame of the goal.

Might just be away in the knockout rounds? That seems mad to me otherwise.

And the run of Lovren winning headers and never getting them on target continues.

I'm not using it that long but so far, it's been nearly flawless.

I remember seeing the instructions for it a while back and thinking that it was to much hassle.

But yeah it's the dogs and you don't have to delete your web history after using it;)compared to streams when you get all sorts of popups and shyte along with stop/start picture.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,953 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Lovren shanks it back to Karius, then boots it out of play, then points fingers.

I've seen a statistic earlier. Liverpool have won all 32 UEFA ties st home when they've won the first leg away.

That is staggering. I nearly want to check the accuracy of it myself. That's phenomenal. It really is.

It is rubbish. We have lost CL qualifiers at home after winning the first leg away (but still gone through). We beat Roma 2-0 away I think in the first leg, and lost the second leg 1-0 in the UEFA cup in 2001. We beat Barca away in the first leg in the 2007 CL and lost the home leg, but still went through.

Maybe the stat is that we have always won the tie when we won the away leg first or something?

I thought Porto would at least come in guns blazing for the first 7 or 8 minutes, but they've accepted defeat from kick-off.

    But it's 0-0 & we haven't had a shot on target yet

I know it;s hard when it's a non game but really someone needs to step up, pity none of the kids were picked (Woodburn is ill before anyone asks) as they'd give it go.

Terrible game but I don't even care. Ha.

Who of the kids is in the Champions League squad?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,930 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

The players all have Saturday lunch time on their minds and are playing in first gear and not bothered to even get up to second gear.

Who of the kids is in the Champions League squad?

Almost all of them in theory, you don't need to name them as part of the squad like seniors - they are on the B list.
    What is List B, then?
A player may be registered on List B if he is born on, or after, 1 January 1995 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday (players aged 16 may be registered if they have been registered with the club for the previous two years). Clubs are entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season, but the list must be submitted by no later than 24:00CET the day before a match

I guess Hendo won't play against utd with him playing tonight, same with Gomez.

Going perfectly so far. No injuries, very little energy used, no cards and no danger of a comeback.

    Lallana doing well.

Defense looks notably shakier without VVD

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,236 ✭✭✭Dr. Kenneth Noisewater

Bit dull but Mané's effort off the post deserved a goal, if only for Moreno managing to keep the ball in at the corner flag and the subsequent dink back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,056 ✭✭✭SuperTortoise

Think any of the u23's can play without being registered. ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,930 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

No leader on the pitch amazing what VVD adds when he plays.

How on earth did he miss that? Genuinely laughing at him here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,953 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Now that's a telling mark of this game, their replacement right-back hoofing it towards goal from about 40 yards with plenty of passes around him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,655 ✭✭✭Royal Legend

    Fox commentators :)

Salah's body "language" says he is not coming on

And Porto came out in groups but Liverpool came out together, you mark my words, Porto to lose

And who the Fkuc is "Jan" or Yan our new midfielder

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Wonder how many minutes Toby will get

They also change the pronunciation of Can at least 5 times a minute.
