His choose Jose over Rodgers and at the time you couldn't blame him no one wanted to sign for us then except players like Stewart, Lambert, Markovic, Manquillo, Moreno, Mario not really top class draws for players to want to play with.


It was also a show of strength for Jose to one of his former coaches that he was still the boss something he held over Rodgers in the game that cost us the title as well.

Probably a 5 year contract . We will give him a new contract of that is double the one he is on currently.
We are now in a position where we don’t have to sell.
He would cost 200 million to buy him. Barca don’t have the cash which just leaves Madrid. Salah would be mental to go to a team where he is second fiddle.
Salah seems like a decent skin and appreciates what the manager and team have done for him. He is not leave for at least another season of at all.

Professional players make decisions for their career not club they support. Chelsea probably seemed a better option. Just enjoy the player we have now.

Even if he did, it would have been the absolute obvious choice for anyone in their career.

But anyway, he didn't, Liverpool never even offered enough money to have a bid accepted. There was no choice. Only Chelsea offered what Basle wanted. Our bid was only about 60% of theirs.
