Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hasn't sunk in.

Despite the abuse on here by some, Henderson will be a massive loss next week.

    He was excellent.

We grind out a win against Palace and now we defend against the greatest team ever to playing in England and they don't have a shot on goal for 93 minutes.

Where was the amazing POTY KDB who opens up teams

Great to see Sterling and Jesus kicking out near the end, acting like children, couldn't get near the net.

Henderson was brilliant tonight, he'll be missed in second game.

    Close enough... ;)

Did the Mane 3-0 scorecast at 135/1. A bit sickened but money is secondary to a result like that! :D

Hard to put that into words, but the biggest compliment I can play to the team is that it's not a complete shock. Excellent performance.

    TAA was magnificent.

The bus had little influence on the game despite the constant references by RTE.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Reverse the halves and all these pundits would be declaring Liverpool had played amazing. but because we're professional in the second half we weren't that good apparently... what a bunch of clowns.

Lads on RTE just cannot give credit to Liverpool at all

We actually weren't good lads turns out the bus booted it into the top corner for Ox.

Outstanding. Pep great manager but so naieve.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Why is there so much focus on City on RTE?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,225 ✭✭✭marklazarcovic

Hoddle must have mentioned city neeeed a away goal about 30 times, you could hear the pleading in his voice by the end

Was out with the missus for dinner so didn’t get to watch the match but occasionally could sneak a look at the phone to check the score!

    Couldn’t believe it!

I have to respect a manager who doesn’t change his philosophy of playing attractive football at any cost no matter what the situation may be.

I really, really respect it tonight more than ever. :D

No Liverpool player played badly, but Milner especially I thought was brilliant, at the heart of everything for us.

It would be giving Chippy too much credit, sour auld yoke that he is, but Knex has it right, this was not LFC at the ceiling of their abilities, at least in attacking terms.

    Best defensive display under Klopp?

    Best defensive display since Rafa?

Never heard a team that played so well and won a game 3-0 not being discussed at all in post-match. RTE analysis is gone down the crapper.

Wow - I'm still speechless. Nerves are shot

What a ****ing game. TAA with the game of his life this evening

Also, shout out to Billy Big Balls on here earlier

That was a performance from TAA to announce he's properly arrived.

Pep designed his entire fúcking gameplan around the idea that if he could get enough balls out to Sané, he'd destroy TAA. In that first half, Pep decided that it was worth taking away his own right hand side in attack, to put an extra body in midfield, and just rely on Sané.

TAA basically told him to fúck off with that performance.

City's run of 12 wins at start of season won them the league. We matched or bettered them in league since.

I could listen to the Ox if he was saying a mass. He's a brilliant speaker.

If you cant recognise how good that performance was then you dont understand football or you have an agenda. Brady is a cabbage anyway, how these lads keep getting work is baffling. I dont think many tune in to hear RTE's "analysis" anyway or take it on board seriously, most of it is a lazy regurgitation of whatever the rags perception is.

After a game like that Ox also gets to go home to the fit bird for that girl band.

RTE lads have come full circle and concluded City are ****e. Well it's either that or the bus what other reason can you give for that result?
