Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A court in the states has protected a child molester and arrested the father of the abuse victims.

They should of just let the father take matters into his own hands.

Where is the PC? That they stopped the father?

No, the law applies to everyone equally. If the father commits a crime, it's on him.

I can understand how he feels, and most people would have no sympathy for a child molester, but no one is exempt from the law.

Can you show what that has to with political correctness?

And the fact that there's no such thing as corporal punishment means that there's little or no fear in getting caught except for the ironic fact that criminals themselves may dole out physical punishment to sex offenders inside.

I would imagine just about everybody in that courtroom sympathized with the father.

And I also imagine just about everybody in that courtroom realised that doing something (while completely understandable) in quite such a public setting would have meant there would be absolutely no chance of him getting away with it.

They saved him from himself is what they did really.
