Been having a problem with Instagram the last few months were the app will instantly (most cases) shut down followed by a pop up saying " Instagram has stopped ".

Ive done the following to try and fix this:

    Clear cache
    Uninstall and reinstall
    Install an older version
    Factory reset of the phone

    Any help ?

If you can get a log of the crash, it will say what is causing it. Google 'how to do a logcat'

Do a logcat, making sure that it's running while the app crashes. Save the log, then upload to Dropbox or Google drive or something and share the link here. The cause might not be obvious, but often it is.

Another thing to try is to go into settings > apps and check the permissions that have been granted for Instagram. It might not have a permission it requires (although I wouldn't necessarily expect this to crash the app).
