    Hello,

    We miss the meter reading in our house every time as it happens during the working hours. We send the readings couple of times a year via text or website, we don't have access to the online account as the bill is on our landlord's name.
    At the end of last year we've got a letter that the reading hasn't been done in more then 12 months and has to be adjusted.
    Just wondering if the readings we sent were noted and would like to make sure the account is adjusted.

    Hi Greg,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    As you have advised that the account is in your landlord's name, we cannot access the account and confirm if any previous readings have been received.

    However, if the property owner contacts Electric Ireland directly, we would be in a position to provide them with that information.

    While we cannot confirm if the readings were received, we can look into updating the latest readings on file for you. In order to do so, could you please send us a private message with the following details?
    • Your full name
    • The Electric Ireland account number
    • The address
    • Your telephone number
    • The property owner's name
    • An up-to-date meter reading
    • The date the reading was taken
    We can then look into updating the readings on file for you.
