MAIN EVENT: LAST MAN STANDING MATCH
THE UNDERTAKER w/PAUL BEARER vs “THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN” TED DIBIASE
Spongeslam: Prior to this PPV, The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase was the SWE Heavyweight Champion. He enjoyed a dominant reign as SWE Champion, mainly due to his finances and the support of his Consortium, Irwin R Schyster, Husky Harris and War Machine. At the last PPV, DiBiase was defending his title against Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, when during the match the lights went out and when they came back on The Undertaker was in the ring. Taker gave DiBiase a tombstone before the lights went off and on again to show Taker had disappeared. Steamboat pinned DiBiase to become the new Champion.
Week 1: DiBiase is livid with the GM Bob Barker after losing his title because of Taker’s interference. Barker grants DiBiase a rematch that night. During the match Taker appears on the big screen reminding him of a contract between him and the devil and that he is here to collect his soul as payment. DiBiase tells War Machine to go backstage and find Taker and then beckons IRS and Husky Harris to guard the ring from Taker coming down. Harris turns on IRS and hits him with a stunner. DiBiase is shocked at what happened allowing Steamboat to roll up DiBiase to successfully defend his title.
Week 2: The Undertaker comes out the ring with his manager, Paul Bearer. He tells the crowd of the deal DiBiase did with the devil to amass his fortune and that his time was now up. His soul was coming back to hell with him. DiBiase is seen backstage with his head in his hands not knowing what to do but suddenly gets an idea and starts his customary laughing
Week 3: DiBiase addresses the audience confirming the deal with the devil but tells people that he is not ready to leave this world and that Taker will have to drag his lifeless body to hell to get his soul. He challenges Taker to a Last Man Standing match at Spongemania and he will show Taker that money does buy anything he wants in this world. Later backstage, DiBiase lets IRS know that he has a plan for Taker and it starts by letting IRS face Taker next week
Week 4: Taker is in the ring ready to face IRS, who comes out accompanied by War Machine. Before the match can start all 3 attack Taker and continue until Taker is helpless. DiBiase comes out to the ring to continue the assault and tells Taker that this is just a glimpse of what he will do to Taker at Spongemania. The scene is set. The battle for Ted DiBiase’s soul takes place this SunSWday at Spongemania 2K18

    SWE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
RICKY “THE DRAGON” STEAMBOAT (C) vs THE IRON SHEIKH
Week 2: Having won the SWE championship at SpongeSlam against Ted DiBiase and successfully defending the title against DiBiase the previous week, attention now was shown to deciding a challenger to Steamboat at Spongemania. First up was James Storm who talked to the GM Bob Barker. Barker offers Storm a place in the No. 1 contenders match later that night if he wins a game Barker has. Barker shows Storm a picture of a crate of beer and is asked to guess the price. Storm answers easily and is in the match. Second up was The Iron Sheikh and King Booker accompanied by their slave Sin Cara. Both want gold and since they were unsuccessful the previous week getting into the SWE Tag Team Championship match they now want to challenge for the SWE Championship. Again Barker decides to play a game and tells whichever is closer to the price of these goods will compete against Storm later that night. Barker shows them the goods and it is bread, milk, tea and biscuits. Sheikh and Booker look confused. Sheikh bids one barrel of oil which Barker does not accept but Sheikh settles on 500. Booker laughs and after listening to advice from Sin Cara bids 1,000. Sheikh is declared the winner much to Booker’s disgust. Later that night Sheikh defeated Storm after intereference from Booker and it is The Iron Sheikh who will challenge Steamboat for the SWE Championship.
Week 3: Sheikh comes out to address the crowd. He starts by calling everyone worthless scum and says that he will easily become the new champion because he is wrestling royalty. He also calls his opponent a dirty Jap and is nothing like a dragon because nobody fears him. Dragons are extinct and soon Steamboat will be as well. Steamboat comes out and calls Sheikh disgusting for offending the crowd. Sheik responds by saying Steamboat is offending the world by being champion. Steamboat says the power of the dragon inside him will power his way to victory over the Sheikh
Week 4: Steamboat is in a tag match with Storm against the Royal Alliance. Steamboat is eager to get his hands on Sheikh but Sheikh avoids him. Sheikh gets his team disqualified by hitting Storm and then Steamboat with Booker’s crown. Sheikh continues his assault of steamboat until Santana scares him off. Will Steamboat defend his championship against Sheikh after such a beating?

    FATHER vs SON
IRWIN R SCHYSTER vs BRAY WYATT
Week 1: Prior to this week Husky Harris was a party animal, loved cars, money and women. His father, IRS, did not approve of his lifestyle and was constantly on Harris’s back to show more responsibility as part of the Consortium. While out accompanying Ted DiBiase during his match with Steamboat, Harris has had enough and turns on his father and hits him with a stunner and leaves.
Week 2: IRS is out in the ring demanding answers to why he was betrayed by his own son. Out comes Harris but he is changed, different music and different outfit. He announces to his father that just like a caterpillar blossoms into a butterfly, he has blossomed from Husky Harris to Bray Wyatt. He says that he is his own man now and needed to sever the link between father and son. IRS offers him a chance to come back but Wyatt attacks IRS and lays him out with his move Sister Abigail.
Week 3: IRS is backstage with DiBiase. IRS is concerned about what happened with his son but DiBiase tells him to concentrate on his duties to DiBiase and put an end to his dispute with his son. Wyatt faces off against Ethan Page in what is basically a squash match. Wyatt grabs the mic and calls out his daddy who comes out to the ring. He says he feels so free now that he is reborn, free from the shackles of the Rotunda family dynasty, free to walk his own path and that path is over his father. IRS responds that he gave him everything growing up and that he should now show his father respect or he will beat respect into him. Wyatt beckons IRS to hit him and a full out brawl starts. It takes a lot of security staff to break it up and Wyatt laughs at his father as they are being pulled apart.
Week 4:IRS is backstage after his confrontation with Taker when he is attacked by Wyatt. Wyatt proceeds to throw IRS into every object he can see and shouts at his father “I love You Daddy” Wyatt is laughing and taking great enjoyment in beating his father. Will the beatdown continue at Spongemania?

    SWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
WAR MACHINE (C) vs THE REVIVAL
Week 1: GM Bob Barker announces a No. 1 contenders match for the tag titles. The Revival face up against The Royal Alliance, made up of The Iron Sheikh and King Booker. Sheikh and Booker have the upper hand early due to some intereference by their slave Sin Cara. However a miscommunication between Booker and Sin Cara allows The Revival to get the upper hand and they manage to get the win to challenge War Machine at Spongemania for the tag titles.
Week 2: The Revival come to the ring to tell the crowd how happy they are to be challenging for the SWE Tag Team Championship and how it’s their dreams to get to the top of the tag team ladder. War Machine comes out to the ring to confront them. They tell Wilder & Dawson to enjoy their moment in the spotlight because it will be shortlived because they are bigger stronger and meaner than the Revival. They go to strike Wilder and Dawson but miss and the Revival combine to send Hanson and Rowe flying out of the ring. War Machine are not happy as they retreat up the ramp.
Week 3: Hanson goes one on one against Dash Wilder. Wilder starts off like a train on fire and his flurry of moves catch Hanson off guard. Soon Hanson gets into the match and his superior strength and power means he takes control of the match. Despite a late surge by Wilder, Hanson hits Wilder with a diving leg drop to get the win.
Week 4. This time its Raymond Rowe going one on one against Scott Dawson. This match follows the same path as the previous week and Rowe gets the pin on Dawson. Afterwards backstage The Revival are interviewed and asked what their chances were on Sunday given that they lost in successive weeks. Wilder says that the most important word in tag team is TEAM. They may have lost singles matches to Hanson and Rowe but The Revival are a superior team and the world will see that at Spongemania. Can The Revival upset the odds and defeat War Machine for the SWE Tag Team Championship at Spongemania 2K18?

Week 2: Barker is once again in the ring with Sunny and shows a video of her date with Abyss. The date is a trip to a funfair. Abyss has a childlike personality mixed with bouts of anger. He loves playing all the games and going on all the rides but Sunny does not enjoy herself slumming it at a funfair. Abyss wins Sunny a teddy bear but Sunny does not want it and Abyss goes into a rage and rips the teddy bear to shreds. He then calms down and says sorry to Sunny but she is scared. Barker looks at Sunny and she is still disgusted. Barker then introduces her next date and out comes Brodus Clay. Sunny is not impressed.

Week 4: Barker is in the ring with Sunny and shows the video of her date with Boogeyman. The date is a countryside picnic. Boogeyman opens up the picnic hamper and brings out 2 plates and then fills it with worms to eat. Boogeyman loves them but Sunny is almost throwing up. The two go for a walk along the river and Boogeyman spots a fisherman trying to put a worm on his hook. Boogeyman is outraged and beats up the fisherman and rescues the worm. He offers it to Sunny but she refuses so Boogeyman eats the worm instead. Barker is laughing at the video but turns to address Sunny. Now that she has had her 4 dates she has to choose a husband. Barker lines all 4 up on the stage. Before Sunny can pick Barker then announces that he has one more video to show. He proceeds to show hidden camera footage of Rick Martel and Sunny talking about how the whole process was just a fix to get her hands on Mr Spongey’s money and that she was always going to pick Martel. Barker is annoyed by her blatant cheating and despite Sunny’s protests he announces a match for Spongemania. He says it will be a fatal fourway between all of Sunny’s dates and the winner will be Sunny’’s husband. Abyss, Brodus and Boogeyman turn to Martel and launch a beatdown of Martel as punishment for his part of the scam. Who will win Sunny’s hand in marriage at Spongemania 2K18

JAMES STORM & TITO SANTANA vs KING BOOKER & SIN CARA
Week 1: Tito Santana meets Sin Cara backstage as he is bringing in The Royal Alliance’s gear. Sin Cara is the personal slave to King Booker and The Iron Sheikh. Santana comments that he should not be a slave and be a proud luchador like many Mexicans before him. Sin Cara ignores him and goes about his job.
Week 2: Booker costs Storm his number one challenger match with Sheikh. Storm attempts to get revenge on Booker but throws Sin Cara in his way and escapes. Storm proceeds to beat up Sin Cara.
Week 3: Santana once again confronts Sin Cara backstage and urges him to take off that slave mask and put on the proper luchador mask. Booker attacks Santana from behind and tells him to leave his property alone. Storm rushes in to protect Santana and get his revenge on Booker. GM Bob Barker decides enough is enough and sets up a tag match for Spongemania with Storm & Santana going against Booker & Sin Cara.
Week 4: Storm is in a tag match with Steamboat against The Royal Alliance. Santana is ringside with Storm and Sin Cara is ringside with The Royal Alliance. Sin Cara attempts to interfere but is stopped by Santana. The commotion ringside distracts the ref and allows Booker to throw his crown to Sheikh who knocks out Storm. Steamboat comes into the ring and is also hit with the crown. The ref sees the second hit and disqualifies the Royal Alliance. This does not stop Sheikh and Booker continuing their assault on both Storm and Steamboat until Santana can come into the ring and scare off the two royals. Can Storm finally get his revenge Booker and can Santana get Sin Cara to rise against his oppressor?

    SWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
WAR MACHINE (c) vs THE REVIVAL

The Revival are first out to the ring and are followed out by the champions War Machine. As Hanson and Rowe get up on the apron they are attacked by Wilder and Dawson. Wilder is pummelling Hanson while Dawson fires Rowe into the barriers a number of times. The ref eventually gets Wilder and Dawson back into the ring and goes to check on Hanson and Rowe. They both slowly make their way into the ring and the ref can start the match.

Wilder rushes to engage with Rowe and continues his assault. A number of quick tags keeps the two fresh and they have isolated Rowe and are targeting Rowe’s knee. Dawson jumps off the corner to deliver an uppercut to Rowe which turns into a suplex from Wilder and a pin attempt but the pin is broken up by Hanson. As the ref ushers Hanson back to his corner The Revival double team Rowe. They send him flying into the corner and as Wilder rushes in to strike Rowe, he is instead hit by a clothesline by Rowe. This gives Rowe some breathing space and an opportunity to tag his partner.

Wilder makes his way back to his corner to tag in Dawson and he tries to prevent Rowe reaching his corner by holding on to his foot. Rowe is stronger than Dawson expects and reaches Hanson despite the extra resistance. Hanson now has the momentum and is using his superior strength to keep both Wilder and Dawson down. Hanson sets up Wilder and Dawson in opposite corners and proceeds to give both of them boots to the head and Rowe follows up with the same. War Machine are in complete control.

Rowe gives Dawson a belly to belly suplex and Hanson is on the top rope ready to give Dawson a diving leg drop but Wilder pulls Dawson out of harms way. Wilder proceeds to give Rowe a dropkick that sends Rowe outside the ring. This gives The Revival the chance to hit Hanson with the Shatter Machine and get the pinfall victory to become the new tag team champions.

The Revival celebrate in the ring with their new championship belts when the arena goes dark and when the lights go back on The Undertaker is in the ring with a large coffin ringside. Hanson goes to attack Taker but is quickly chokelammed and Rowe follows suit and is also chokeslammed. Taker rolls the two into his coffin and seals it up and rolls the coffin backstage

They reach the ring, Booker takes off his crown and robe and hands them to Sin Cara to put away. Booker squares up to Storm and orders him to bow before his king. Storm responds by spitting his beer into Booker’s face which angers him so much and they have to be held apart by the ref and Santana.

Storm is ready to lock up with Booker but Booker tags in Sin Cara instead. Storm engages with Sin Cara but his speed means Storm can’t get a hit in and Sin Cara’s high paced offense as Storm rattled. Booker sees this as the perfect time to tag himself in. Booker launches a volley of shots to Storm. Storm manages to block a shot and hit back. Booker scampers away and tags back in Sin Cara. Storm makes his way over to tag in Santana. Santana pleads with Sin Cara to rise against Booker and free himself from slavery. Sin Cara ignores this and attacks Santana. Again Sin Cara’s high paced offense has Santana down. Once again Booker tags himself in and continues his assault on Santana.

He gives Santana a kneeling side slam but is unsuccessful with his pin attempt. He then sets Santana up for his signature scissors kick but Santana avoids it, comes off the rope and attempts a flying forearm smash. Booker ducks out of the way and Santana hits the ref instead. Booker launches a number of kicks on Santana and then urges Sin Cara to get his crown. He obviously wants to use it as a weapon while the ref is down. Sin Cara grabs the crown and hops up on the apron. He gazes at the crown and seems to have doubts. Booker shouts abuse at Sin Cara to give him the crown. Instead Sin Cara hits Booker with the crown. Booker is stunned and turns straight into a superkick by Storm. Booker is down and Santana covers him. Storm wakes up the ref with some beer and the ref makes his way over to count the pinfall victory. Santana & Storm are declared winners. Sin Cara and Santana embrace in the ring and Santana presents Sin Cara with a new mask that does not represent his time as a slave. The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase makes his way out to the ring armed with a metal briefcase. He is alone as both War Machine and Irwin R Schyster were eliminated by The Undertaker earlier in the evening. DiBiase is pacing inside the ring showing concern for his predicament when the lights go out. The Undertaker’s trademark music comes on and he makes his way out to the ring accompanied by his loyal manager Paul Bearer. Taker faces up to DiBiase and issues him with his customary cut throat gesture to tell DiBiase that he’s taking his soul back to hell tonight. DiBiase starts talking to Taker and opens the briefcase. It’s full of money and DiBiase offers it to Taker to walk away from the match. The Undertaker accepts the briefcase and DiBiase laughs thinking he has survived. But Taker shuts the briefcase, throws it out of the ring and grabs DiBiase and chokeslams him. DiBiase is stunned but but Taker continues his offence and DiBiase can’t get into the match.

DiBiase manages to escape the ring to get some breathing space but is quickly followed by Taker. DiBiase speeds up to keep away from Taker. DIBiase reaches Paul Bearer and pushes him to the ground. Taker goes to check on his manager and this gives DiBiase an opportunity to blindside Taker with a kick to the legs that takes Taker down. DiBiase proceeds to fire Taker into the ring post several times and also gives Taker a piledriver into the steel steps. DiBiase orders the ref to count but Taker gets to his feet at the count of 8. DiBiase rolls Taker back into the ring and places Taker into his customary sleeper hold, the Million Dollar Dream. Taker seems unconscious and once again DiBIase urges the ref to count. Taker is not responding and DIBiase looks set for victory but just before the ref reaches 10 Taker gets to his feet. DiBiase is shocked and can’t believe what has happened. He’s beginning to believe in Taker’s supernatural abilities.

DiBiase once again goes to attack Taker but he takes each shot and stares into DiBiase’s eyes. The hits are not affecting Taker. Taker launches into his own flurry of hits and DiBiase is rocked. Taker hits DiBiase with a chop off the top rope and sets DiBiase up for the Tombstone. DiBiase wriggles out of it and slides out of the ring. He has had enough, he grabs his briefcase and proceeds to make his way up the ramp. Taker starts to follow him and catches up with him in an area approaching backstage. As Taker grabs DiBiase, he gets sucker punched by the briefcase. DiBiase hits Taker several more times with the briefcase until one final hit sends Taker to the ground. Taker falls through some materials laid on the ground into what looks like a hole. Taker is laying inside the hole when a beep noise comes closer. It looks like a small dumper approaching the hole and it pours cement into the hole covering Taker. The hole is filled and the ref looks shocked but begins the count. DiBiase stands over the newly formed grave laughing as the ref reaches 10. Ted DiBiase is declared the winner and his soul is safe. DiBiase grabs the briefcase and brings it over to the dumper and presents it to the driver who is shown to be none other than Paul Bearer. Coach: “ Looks like the old guy has still got it.”

Match 9: PCW World Heavyweight Championship (Kurt Angle (c) v Rusev)

Buildup: Kurt Angle after the year from hell found redemption as he captured the PCW title in a Battle Royal in January. Rusev attacked him immediatly afterwards and for a number of weeks after. Maybe Rusev has Angle’s number.

Minutes 1-5: Rusev gains an early control through the Machka Kick. Angle responds by hitting a trio of German Suplexes. He pins Rusev but the Bulgarian kicks out at 1. Angle goes for the Olympic Slam but Rusev counters with a Samoan Drop. Angle kicks out at 2.

Minutes 5-10: Rusev is stomping a mudhole on Angle but Angle does a Double Leg Takedown and locks in the Ankle Lock. Rusev is clearly in pain but refuses to tap out eventually reaches the rope to force the break. Rusev rolls to the outside to recover.

Minutes 10-15: Angle rolls Rusev back in the ring and locks in his submission hold again but this time Rusev rolls through and connects with a Spinning Heel Kick. Angle again kicks out. Rusev attempts to apply the Accolade but Angle is able to avoid.

Minutes 15-20: Angle hits a Bodyscissors on Rusev as the crowd break out in a “Holy ****” chant. Angle goes for the Olympic Slam once again but Rusev counters looking for the Bulplex but Angle reserves into the Olympic Slam. Rusev somehow kicks out at 2 and three quarters leaving Kurt stunned. He doesn’t know what he has to do to put the Bulgarian away. He decides to head for the top rope.

Coach: “Kurt, please don’t do your neck will break again.”

Minutes 20-25: Angle hits the most technically perfect Moonsault you’ll ever see. He pins Rusev again but he raises his shoulder just as the referee’s hand is about to hit the mat for the third time. Angle is frustrated so heads back to the top, points to the sky but Rusev avoids the Frog Splash. Rusev locks in the Accolade, Angle knows he is in serious trouble and desperatly tries to reach the ropes or counter. Rusev applies a Bridge to the Accolade still Angle refuses to give up. Eventually, Angle passes out due to the pressure applied and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Rusev (New PCW World Heavyweight Champion)

    rusev-with-championship-belt-2014-posed-sports-photo-8-x-10_4525466.jpg

Grisham: “Kurt showed why he is one of the greatest ever but ultimately there’s a new sheriff in town and that’s Rusev.”

Coach: “ Both men were taken to the limit, I was hoping Kurt would pull it off but Rusev delivered on his promise and he has rightfully claimed the bragging rights.”

Grisham: “ Thank you for joining us at Pauliemania. Goodnight.”

Pyro goes off and the show concludes.

The show opens with a performance from Dropkick Murphys with Paying My Way

General Manager Finlay comes out and welcomes everyone and hopes they enjoy the show.

The first match is Kensuke Sasaki Vs. Christopher Daniels

This match came about when Sasaki beat former IC champ Kaz twice and put him out of action for two months so Kaz's friend challenged Sasaki to a match on weekly tv show Fright Night Ignition which he refused. Sasaki then attacked Daniels in his IC title match with current champ Tyson Kidd leading to a DQ. The following week Sasaki was fighting Kidd for the title when Daniels came out leading to a DQ. Finlay came out and said both men would meet at WrestleMayhem. Daniels wins the match but after is attacked for Kaz who blames Daniels for him losing the IC title so both Kaz and Sasaki team up to beat on Daniels.

Adam Sandler is backstage and he enters Finlay's office. Finlay asks him if he ok to be here tonight which he says he is and is there to support John Morrison as thanks to his teaching of parkour he is now on the short list for James Bond. Finlay laughs as Sandler leaves.

The next match is the women's title match featuring current champion Sara Del Rey and challengers Gail Kim and Hamada. Previous champion Hamada and Sara had battled each other back and forth over the past few weeks with Gail joining in after beating Hamada with help from Taylor Wilde. Gail asked Finlay for a shot at the champion Sara and received a one on one match. Hamada beat Wilde and Kim mad at losing came out and attacked Hamada. Wilde left Kim in the ring with Hamada and exited. Sara came out and offered both a shot at her title at the ppv which Finlay approved but made the match a ladder match. Sara retains her title after climbing the ladder to grab the belt.

Carter Bateman (Ethan Carter III aka Derrick Bateman) is with his girlfriend Taylor Wilde backstage. She tells him Sandler is there, he says he does not care about that idiot and he will get more if he gets involved tonight.

The next match is for the tag team titles with the current champions Petey Williams and Billy Kidman against Teddy Hart and DH Smith known as SmithHarts. The match came about when SmithHarts became No. 1 contenders after beating 3 other tag teams with help from the IC champion Tyson Kidd. LWE has new tag champs as a mix up between Williams and Kidman leads to Smith getting the winning pin and SmithHarts are now tag champs.

Konnan the hardcore champion has issued an open challenge to anyone, he is in the ring waiting and out comes former women's champion Ivory. He laughs but she slaps him, he tells get out of the ring but she slaps him again. Buddy Murphy runs in the ring from the crowd and takes down Konnan and goes for a quick pin but Ivory breaks it up. Murphy throws Ivory out of the ring and again goes to pin Konnan who kicks out. Konnan fights back and pins Murphy to retain the belt.

SmithHarts are celebrating backstage with Tyson Kidd who says he will making history tonight winning LWE heavyweight title as well as holding the IC title.

Jack Gallagher and his solicitor enter Finlay's office and tell him he is suing him for racist comments and an unsafe work environment. Finlay tears up the letter and orders both out. Gallagher leaves but tells him there will be consequences. Joey Mercury sees Gallagher leaving and laughs at him. Gallagher hits Mercury from behind into a wall.

The main event is next and it is for LWE heavyweight title, this elimination chamber match features current LWE champ Austin Aries, Daniel Bryan, John Morrison, Carter Bateman, Tyson Kidd and Finlay.

A recap is shown of how this match came to be.

Finlay was delighted when he signed the returning to the ring after being medically clearing Daniel Bryan and when Daniel was introduced on Fright Night Ignition, the champion Aries came out to greet him. Aries talked of being a champion who would fight anyone in defence of his title but was worried how rusty DB was after so long out of ring action. DB said he wanted to earn his shot which Finlay agreed so that night DB beat Christopher Daniels. DB would go on to beat Kensuke Sasaki on his way to earning a spot in the chamber match. John Morrison was helping actor Adam Sandler with parkour for his James Bond audition and when Sandler joked of Bateman looking like actor Andy Samberg, Bateman attacked him badly leading to Sandler being stretched out of a show. Morrison then challenged Bateman to a match which ended in a DQ as Wilde got involved so both Morrison and Bateman were added to the chamber match. Kidd beat Konnan to earn his spot. Finlay stripped Jack Gallagher of the 6th spot and added himself as he felt he had one more big match left in him and was ready to fight.

The match began with Morrison and Aries in the ring, with Daniel Bryan, Kidd, Finlay and Bateman locked in the chambers, DB and Finlay were next in the match out of the chambers. Aries came close to a pin on Morrison early on. Wilde was at ringside watching on Bateman. Kidd and Bateman are now released. SmithHarts have to come to ringside to cheer on Kidd. Adam Sandler is out with Finlay's shillelagh, this distracts Finlay so allows Morrison to pin and he is eliminated. Finlay is mad and when he exits he runs after Sandler but is stopped top of the stage when Gallagher attacks him. Morrison does some mad stunts inside and even jumps from the top of one of the chambers. Morrison and Bateman go at it for about 15 mins. Sandler returns but Wilde pulls him over and kisses him. He drops the shillelagh which Teddy Hart picks up and manages to get inside the chamber to Kidd who uses it on DB and Aries. Kidd tries to pin Morrison and Bateman who are both down. DB eliminated Kidd. Morrison eliminates Bateman. Aries is down so we now have DB and Morrison going at it. Bateman attacks Sandler when he exits. Morrison is distracted so DB tries to pin but Morrison kicks out. DB finally does eliminate Morrison. Aries now has Finlay's shillelagh and uses it on DB repeatly. Twice Aries goes for a pin but instead stops at 2 and beats on DB. Aries is cocky now teasing DB saying his body is a crock and he will never recover. DB gets a quick surprise roll up pin and 1, 2, 3, new champion. DB is now the champ as the show ends.

    Beyond Chaos Year 5
    3qy.jpg

With Paul Heyman successfully assembling a talent roster, all eyes were on Beyond Chaos as ratings season approached. What would the premiere episode of Monday Night Chaos have in store, who would challenge Bret Hart for the BCW World Heavyweight Title at the upcoming Ultimate Chaos 3 Pay Per View, what other matches would take place on said PPV and how would they come about.

    Week 1

The first Monday Night Chaos of the Paul Heyman era opened on a curious crowd. Rumours of who would and wouldn't turn up swirled for weeks before the premiere show, but with Paul Heyman at the helm, fans turned up and tuned in thanks to promises of controversy. The atmosphere was like a pressure cooker as Paul Heyman entered to address the crowd. The BCW owner again promised must see tv that would shock those who watched and announced he would announce the challenger to Bret Harts World Heavyweight championship to close the show. He talked up the Contract of Chaos match later on as well promising that while he could not guarantee the viewers would leave her happy, he promised that those who watch tonight will end the night begging for next week's episode.

A womens battle royal kicked off the show, with the winner set to become the new Womens Champion. The match was a one woman show, as the clear favourite Nikki Cross dominated and threw women after women over the top rope to eventually win the match. But instead of being crowned the champion, plans apparently changed as when Nikki was announced the winner the lights went out. After a few seconds the darkness changed to a glow of red lights as a voice over began speaking over the arenas speakers.

VOICE : Ladies and Gentlemen, from Hollywood, Los Angeles California, the reason you all came, the reflection of perfection, the irresistible, the insatiable …ALL RED EVERYTHING…….EVA MARIE!

The red headed Eva Marie strolled out wearing a red Ric Flair esque robe to a chorus of boo’s from the puzzled fans. Eva began to speak to the crowd as Nikki Cross foamed at the mouth.
    eva-marie-robe-1471243075-800.png

Eva Marie : I am here to save you all. This match was scheduled to determine a new BCW Womens champion, however I would like to direct you all to the fine print of your tickets.”card subject to change”. And by that, I mean it was decided that it was in the best interest of the company to have a real star as champion, so the this battle royal was not for the Championship, instead the Championship was awarded to ……….me.

Eva Marie would then open her robe to show the world that the Womens Championship was around her waist.

The fans were not pleased at this development and neither was the winner of the battle royal, Nikki Cross. Eva would then taunt the already fuming Nikki Cross, who would make a beeline for the new Champion only to be stopped by a flood of security guards. Eva would exit to a flurry of boo’s as Cross was restrained at ringside.

Backstage we would see BCW tag champions Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano discussing the upcoming Contract of Chaos match. Both men are adamant that their friendship comes first no matter what happens tonight. Ciampa would walk off down the corridor when he was met by Sean O’Haire.

Sean O’Haire wished him luck initially before adding does he trust Gargano to have his back tonight. Ciampa listened curiously as O’Haire rattled off a list of tag teams such as The Rockers who had one turn on the other. O’Haire asked him if he was a Michaels or a Jannetty before saying he wasn't telling Ciampa anything he didn't already know.

Next up in the ring, the fans were in disbelief as Mohammad Hussan debuted and cut a promo on the live crowd. Hassan talked about how he was outcast in wrestling for his controversial opinions and because of his race. He said Americans in 2018 were fake. He said the same Americans who claim they are all tolerant and accepting are the people who vilified him in years past. He said he will do what destroy those who call themselves American patriots, even if he has to make a deal with the devil himself.

Next was some in ring action with the in ring debut of the American Wolves who overcame some local wrestlers in impressive fashion. As they celebrated in the ring it was announced they will face The Tag Team Champions DIY next week for the Tag Titles. As they got backstage they were greeted by Sean O’Haire. He congratulated them on their match and wished them luck next week before giving them his card and offered his services in an advisory role. He ended by telling them that they were in the big leagues now and that they needed every bit of help they could get and that he wasn't telling them anything they didn't already know.

Next was the Contract of Chaos Match with the winner getting a contract to face the BCW World Champion anytime they wished.

Paul Heyman entered first and announced that this match would have a special guest time keeper…..

Paul Heyman : Introducing the star of the upcoming motion picture, Creed 2, Rocky Balboa himself…… Sylvester Stallone.

Stallone would come to the ring to a nice reaction and thanked the fans for coming. He encouraged them to see his new movie and took his seat at ringside.

Samoa Joe vs Johnny Gargano vs Tomasso Ciampa vs Roderick Strong vs Baron Corbin vs Rey Mysterio

Joe is the odds on favorite to win the match and is extremely dominate in the match. Plenty of high spots from all involved, and some teasing of tension between Gargano and Ciampa. At one point Gargano accidently superkicks Ciampa when his intended target Samoa Joe ducks. Rey Mysterio rolls back the years and showing he can still move as good as he ever did with some splendid high flying offense much to the joy of the crowd.

The big moment for Joe in the match comes when hes brawling with Rey near the announce table when Baron Corbin comes from behind and throws him into Sly Stallone whos at ringside. The match goes on and Joe recovers only to somehow blame Stallone. Joe berates Stallone who initially is apologising until Jowe shoves him to the floor. Joe then turns his attention to the ring when hes spun around by Stallone and knocked to the floor by a sweet uppercut. Samoa Joe gets up quickly and tackles Stallone and a grappling brawl ensues. Referees and agents rush to the ring to try separate the two but both men continue to brawl at ringside.

As the Stallone/ Joe brawl goe son, Corbin is trading punches at the top of 2 side by side ladders with Roderick Strong when Roddy flips over Corbin and hits a devastating sunset powerbomb from the ladder. Joe comes back in and he, Ciampa and Gargano begin climbing the two ladders. Ciampa is on one ladder while Samoa Joe is beside him trading blows with Gargano. The finish comes when Gargano kicks Joe in the face knocking him off the ladder and into Ciampa. Both Ciampa and Joe fall to the match below, giving Gargano the chance to grab the briefcase and win the match.

Winner and Contract of Chaos holder :
    Johnny Gargano

Gargano celebrates while still in shock at what has happened. Ciampa hesitates and teases some tension before hugging Gargano and raising his hand.

The final segment of the show begins with Paul Heyman. He hopes the fans have enjoyed the twist and turns and surprises tonight and says he has one more. He welcomes Bret Hart to the ring and they shake hands. Heyman tells Bret that he needs a big fight to headline the PPV, one with real animosity, one with real tension. On one side a man the fans can get behind versus a man the crowd will despise on the other. On one side a hero for the ages and on the other side a true hated villain. Heyman says Bret is a hero, a man that everyone sees as true to himself and to what he represents.

Heyman reminds Bret of his contractual obligation to face whomever Heyman books against him. He tells Bret that he needs a true good versus evil story and that while he realises he isn't proud of what he's done, he has done what is necessary to not only help BCW survive, but he has booked a main event that will enable BCW to win.
    Bret-Hart-Survivor-Series-1995-645x370.jpg

Paul Heyman : So without further ado, Bret ….. Your opponent at Ultimate Chaos 3 for the Beyond Chaos World Heavyweight Championship………..

Chris Benoit's music hits and out walks the man himself. The fans are silent in disbelief and Bret Hart is in shock in the ring. Fans begin to boo mercifully venting their disapproval at what is transpiring by hurling cups and trash at the ring as Bret appears to be furious with Heyman as we go off the air.

    WEEK 2

The show opens on a hyped up crowd with Paul Heyman standing in the middle of the ring addressing the crowd

Paul Heyman : You all may not like the controversy…………..but you all want it. Last week I delivered in producing a must see 2 hour rollercoaster of wrestling television. I gave you edgy, I gave you shocking moments, I gave you real emotions. Now let's address the hot topic shall we. Why did I bring back a convicted killer to main event the next Pay Per View?
    c746a9a7e468d2d93a46810cd16ad815.jpg

The fans boo Heyman but he smirks.

Paul Heyman : Last week once the cameras stopped rolling, everything blew up. Twitter, TMZ, Facebook, 24 news channels, message board, tv talk shows…..everyone was talking about Beyond Chaos. We are trending worldwide and people are wondering what will Heyman do next. We have already had an huge increase in the BCW network subscriptions, our sponsors may not be too pleased with the negative publicity but they sure don't mind all the eyeballs on our product either. We have the whole world watching our next move. Later tonight we will air a sit down interview with Chris Benoit and I hope it answers some of your questions.

Heyman is then interrupted by an angry Nikki Cross who rushes to the ring to confront Heyman. Cross, who is furious at Eva Marie being given the title after it appeared she earned it in the battle royal. Heyman squirms and says it's just business and that she will get Eva Marie one on one later tonight for the title to close the segment.

Backstage we have the American Wolves preparing for their tag team title match later. Sean O’Haire approaches them. He wishes them luck tonight and again offers his managerial services. The Wolves politely decline but Sean O’Haire is instant he can help them and he says he will offer a gesture of goodwill first to prove himself before walking off.

We are back at ringside for the Womens Championship match.

    Nikki Cross vs Eva Marie

Cross is out first followed by the over-the-top lavish entrance from Eva Marie. But Eva Marie never appears in person, rather she appears via satellite. She explains that she is unable to attend the show and is actually in Miami on a photoshoot. She declares that she will be live next week to defend her championship. This entrages Nikki Cross who goes all Brock Lesnar and goes on a rampage at ringside. Cross destroys the time keepers area, judo tosses the time keeper himself and dismantles the spanish announce table. Cross then suplexes some referees who rush to ringside in an attempt to try calm her down before officials eventually restrain her.

Next up in some cross promotion we are live at the Creed 2 press conference featuring Sylvester Stallone and other stars of the movie. After some routine questions, a reporter asks Stallone about his brawl with BCW Superstar Samoa Joe. Stallone says it was nothing and says he held his own. As soon as he answers a voice can be heard shouting from the back.
    sylvesterstalloneap_450x350.jpg
Samoa Joe : You sucker punched me last week Rocky, why don't you come at me again and see if you can hold your own.

Stallone stand up from his seat and sees Samoa Joe walking slowly through the sea of reporters.

Samoa Joe : Come on Balboa, you not man enough to try me. I’ll eat you alive, I’m Drago, Creed and Clubber Lang all rolled into one.

Stallone gestures at him to come get some but security grab Joe before he can walk any further?

Samoa Joe : What's the matter Stallone, you scared I’ll knock you out and prove that all these Rocky movies are a fairytale. Come on Stallone, come on.

Joe breaks free from the security guards and charges at Stallone. Joe dives over the table and the brawl is on. Several blows are landed by both men before security drags them apart. Joe continues his trash talk when he hears a voice from the crowd saying “knock him out Rocky”

Samoa Joe : Come on Rocky, knock me out… come on, Fight me Rocky, fight me?

Stallone : Name the place, i'll be there. I’ll kick your fat ass.

Joe is dragged out as Stallone adjusts himself as the camera cuts back to ringside.

Back at ring side Rey Mysterio is in the ring in street clothes and thanks the fans for last week. He says it was amazing to be in the ring again and it was even more special for my young kids to see me me wrestle once before I ride into the sunset. Rey gets emotional and says his goodbye to the fans and his music plays. Rey poses and exits the ring, tagging the hands of fans around ringside. He hugs one masked fan with a Rey Mask at ringside who has a sign that says “619 forever”. Rey then takes the sign and places it over his head, but as he does the masked fan attacks Rey. The fan jumps the barricade and unleashes hell on Mysterio. The masked fan stand over the fallen Rey Mysterio and reveals himself to be Andrade Cien Almas. Almas grabs a chair and furiously smashes the fallen Mysterio with the steel chair as he tries to recover.
    Andrade-Cien-Almas-Posing-NXT-WWE-Network-e1492780400423.jpg

Almas then grabs the sign and rips it in half before placing the folded chair over the neck of Rey. Almas then jams the chair into the throat of Mysterio who is in agony as a result. Blood appears in the mouth of Mysterio as Almas stands tall.

The camera switches to another locker room where Johnny Gargano is being interview about his recent Contract of Chaos win. A question is asked about how his partner Tomasso Ciampa feels, but before Gargano can answer, his partner enters the room. After a tense moment or two the two men hug and both say they are focused on tonight's Tag match first and foremost.

We cut backstage to Roderick Strong participating in a backstage interview when Baron Corbin heinously attacks him from behind. Corbin mount Strong and unleash vicious right hands to the face of Strong while blaming Strong for his inability in winning the Contract of Chaos match. Corbin would end the assault, but not before throwing Strong through a glass window backstage. Roderick Strong would be left bloody and broken from the attack, with Corbin seemingly pleased with himself.

DIY (Gargano and Ciampa) vs American Wolves

Before the match starts Sean O’Haire strolls to ringside and begins encouraging the American Wolves.

The match starts with Gargano and Richards and after a few nice exchanges, Gargano gets isolated after appearing to jar his knee on a backflip. The Wolves go to work on Gargano's leg with some great double team moves with Ciampa begging for the tag. Throughout the match Sean O’Haire can be seen at ringside talking to Ciampa who isn't interested.

Gargano on numerous time is close to a tag but is stopped each time to which Ciampa is furious. Eventually Gargano gets a flurry in and take out both wolves despite hobbling on one leg. With Richards down he can make the hot tag, but chooses to go an attempted Gargano Escape submission instead. Richards gets to the ropes though and the hold is broken. Both men get to their feet and as Gargano is running, his knee buckles an he is in agony. The ref, after much consideration throws up the X signal to indicate Gargano can't continue and awards the match, and the titles to the Wolves.

Winners and New Tag Team Champions :
    The American Wolves

The wolves get handed the titles and Sean O’Haire comes in to celebrate by raising the hands of Richards and Edwards.

The new champions leave with O’Haire while Gargano is being checked on by the ref. A dejected Tomasso Ciampa looks forlorn at what's happened and eventually helps his partner up. Ciampa drags Gargano up under his arm as the fans applaud the effort, but the atmosphere turns sour as Ciampa viciously kicks the leg out from under Gargano. Ciampa then stomps away on the leg much to the horror and dismay of the live crowd. Tomasso is shouting furiously at Gargano, calling him selfish and two faced as he stand on the injured knee while Gargano screams in agony. Ciampa drags Gargano by the injured leg to the ringpost and applies a devastating figure four leg lock while Gargano's leg is wrapped around the post. Gargano screams in agony as officials arrive (busy night for them). The try to force Ciampa to release the hold but despite their pleas, Ciampa does not relent.

Ciampa eventually released the hold after what seemed like an eternity and Gargano screams while he clutches the knee. The cameras go to commercial with Gargano being stretchered out of the arena while Ciampa looks on callously.

We are back and it's time for the sit down interview. The interview is split into two portions, one interview with Benoit first and one with Bret after.

Benoit sits calmly as hes asked questions about his return and his life behind bars. Benoits says he paid his debt to society and that he spent every day thinking of ways to make amends. He says he's here to resume his career and hopefully he can focus on being the best wrestler in the world once more.

Benoit is asked about Paul Heyman and if he feels exploited by him. He says Paul is giving him an opportunity that many others wouldn't give him considering his past. He says that while it may be true that Heyman is using Benoit for financial and commercial success, he is using this chance to better life.

Benoit is then asked about his opponent, Bret Hart. He calls Bret a coward and blames Bret and the media for brainwashing his son David against him. He doesn't blame David, as he had his Dad around to guide him properly through life. He blames Bret for manipulating David and turning him into a follower of Bret rather than his be own man. He says the stage is perfect for him to not only dethrone and become World Heavyweight champion, but also to show his son that Bret is nothing but a selfish fraud.

The scene switches to a different studio where Bret is being interviewed. Brets looks pissed and hostile to a degree. Bret is asked first about his feelings on Heymans announcement last week that he and Benoit will clash live on PPV. Bret is disgusted, and says he wants to puke each time he relives that announcement in his head. Bret says he is being legally forced into the match and says that under no circumstances would he be happy to face Benoit. Bret feels like he is being taken advantage of because clause written into his contract which is forcing him into the match. Bret says he feels betrayed by Heyman however it was his own fault for working with him to begin with considering Pauls reputation.

Bret says he won't back down from a challenge but feels it's morally wrong to glorify Benoit after all he has done. Bret calls Benoit a vile monster for what he did and Bret says he will break his contract and makes it clear that he refuses to fight Chris Benoit under any terms. Bret disconnects his mic and leaves.

    Week 3

Week 3 kicks off with Mohammad Hassan again bad mouthing America, running down the home fans a sthe boo him relentlessly.

Hassan is interrupted by the new tag team champions, the American Wolves who have Sean O’Haire by their side. They claim they are here to stand up for America and that they are sick and tired of listening to you guys run down America at every opportunity.
    ohaire-sean-image.jpg

After some back and forth between Hassan and The Wolves, Sean O’Haire interrupts, he tells Hassan to shut up and claims he's the advisor of The Wolves after helping them to victory last week. Sean O’Haire then goes on to challenge Hassan to a match next week between The Wolves and Hassan and a partner of his choice. Hassan accepts and calls them stupid Americans which infuriates O’Haire who says that nexts week match will be no DQ so that the Wolves can truly rip you apart.

Next up is some action involving the Womens Championship match.

    Nikki Cross vs Eva Marie

Cross is out first and looks more worked up than usual. followed by the over-the-top lavish entrance from Eva Marie. Unlike last week when she no showed, Eva Marie is live and in the flesh but she's on crutches. She whips out a mic and explains she's unable to wrestle tonight due to injury and she has a doctor's note to prove it. The fans boo the living daylights out of her but she smirks and compares herself to Daniel Bryan in that she is not cleared to wrestle. She claims to have a twisted ankle and she says she will defend her title for all her fans when she medically cleared and she cant compete until next week.

This entrages Nikki Cross who goes all postal again as she hops out of the ring and makes a beeline for the Womens Champion. Eva Marie immediately sprints away from cross, showing she's not injured at all. Eva bails to the parking lot and hops in a car and screams at her driver to drive. The car speeds away just as Cross reaches it and she hurls a trash can in anger. She grabs some guy walking through and asks where Heyman is. The man responds that hes doesnt know and she goes back into the arena in search of the owner.

We are back at ring side as Baron Corbin is wrestling a local talent when Roderick strong comes from the crowd and a brawl ensues. Corbin would again get the upper hand and stand tall over an injured Strong until officials arrived. Corbin would yell abuse at Strong throughout the beatdown, remarking that Strong didn’t belong in BCW and that he was out of his depth stepping up to him. Corbin would go to leave and strong would crawl to the side of the ring and yell for a mic. Before Corbin can leave, Strong would challenge Corbin to a match at Ultimate Chaos. Corbin would return to the ring and assault the fallen strong and hit him with an end of Days slam before accepting his challenge.

Next we would have pre recorded interview with Andrade Cien Almas. He would speak about how despite his talent and championships, he never gets the recognition in his home country of Mexico. He says he has always been upstaged by Rey Mysterio no matter how many people he beats or how long his championship reigns are. He says in Mexico, Rey is the legend, all the kids wear his mask and worship him. He says he is 10 times the star Rey is and despite not hiding behind a mask, he doesn't get the kudos he deserves.

Andrade ends the interview by saying he has learned now how to become a legend…... in order to become a true legend he must end a legend. He says last week he showed the world a glimpse of what he can do to Rey Mysterio and says if Rey is the legend he believes he is, then he should face him at in a match at Ultimate Chaos.

We switch to ringside and its an in-ring promo from Tomasso Ciampa, who is explaining his actions from last week when he attacked his partner Johnny Gargano. Ciampa says he is sick Gargano’s selfishness. He said Gargano was fame hungry and tried to set over him for success. He said gargano would do anything to reach the top including stabbing his partner in the back. The Sicilian Psychopath says the signs were there and the red flags were clear as day, so he explains he screw Johnny Gargano before Gargano screwed Ciampa. He says last week, Gargano again went into business for himself, trying to win the match on his own, which was impossible. He said that was the straw that broke Ciampas patients. Heyman appears and Paul informs Ciampa that he will face Johnny Gargano at Ultimate Chaos with the Contract of Chaos on the line.

We switch backstage to see Samoa Joe an interview. Joe keeps it short and sweet.

    Samoa Joe
: Rocky said last week any time any where? I say Me versus Stallone, 1 on 1….. At Ultimate Chaos.

We then switch to Paul Heymans office, he's on the phone

Paul Heyman : I'm glad you have accepted Mr Stallone. 2 weeks, live on pay per view, Stallone versus Samoa Joe in a 1 on 1 Wrestling match

Paul hangs up and makes another call.

Heyman : Its Paul, …………..you know this Samoa Joe/Stallone match is happening right………. Well for insurance purposes I need Stallone to have some sort of Wrestling training. ……..Yes he can box and fight, but you can't step legally into a wrestling ring on PPV without being trained so I need you to go over to Stallone's home and give him some pointers,.............. Its a legal requirement and I need a favour from you………. Yes , only the best will do and that's why I called you.

Heyman hangs up quickly when Nikki Cross barges into the office demanding a real match with Eva Marie. Heyman cowardly calms her down before assuring her she will have a match 1 on 1 with a medically cleared Eva Marie. Nikki Cross says she better have it or she gonna take her anger out on Heyman.

Next up is an in ring interview with chris Benoits son, David Benoit. David gets asked about his dead being released. He says he has avoided his father since his prison release and feels sick that he's here in BCW. He is asked about his thoughts on the match World Title match at Ultimate Chaos and before he can answer he is interrupted by his Father Chris Benoit.

Chris Benoit walks to the ring and stands across from his son. After a long pause, Chris tries to hug his son but David backs away and walks to the outside. Chris grabs a mic and says he understands. He understands why he doesn't want anything to do with his old man, and wont push the issue. But Chris says he's sorry he wasn't there and hopes someday David can forgive him. Chris says he sorry he wasn't there for him and says he's even more sorry that he's let Bret Hart influence him. He hates seeing his son follow Bret like a sheep. He says it's horrible to see him blindly follow Bret and pleads with him to ignore bret and be his own man. He says David is capable of being great in this business, better than his old man and certainly better than Bret, but he says David needs to get out of the shadow of Bret and be his own man. He says David shouldn't be a walk-behinder. Chris says why walk in Brets shadow, and says he can walk behind and you're not a leader. Chris says then the view never changes if your Brets lackey and that he should be his own man like his real father.

David grabs a mic and angrily snaps at Chris.

David Benoit : Seriously, after ten years you step to me like this.LIKE THIS!. How dare you? You claim to “understand” yet I highly doubt you fully grasp the situation. Are you that self absorbed? Are you that oblivious? Lets me set the record straight. There once was a time I looked up to you, a time I looked at you for guidance and inspiration. Those days are long gone. After what you did you lost, you became nothing to me. And now after 10 years you think you can waltz in her with an deluded attempt at an apology? Are you for real?

    David hops into the ring.

David Benoit : Let me tell you Im disappointed Bret is rightly refusing to fight you. You deserve a beating and I was most certainly looking forward to Bret kicking your ass. Bret’ is everything you are not. You don’t deserve the spotlight, you don’t deserve the time of day and you will never deserve to call me son again.

Chris Benoit : You ungrateful little worm. I gave you life,

David Benoit : And you took it away 10 years again. Your actions ruined everything i had and took everything away from me. You are dead to me.

    cb-angry.jpg

Chris snaps and charges at his Son and grabs him by the throat before clotheslining him off his feet. David is dazed as Chris picks him up and dumps him on his back with a German suplex. Chris stalks his son but as he does the fans pop as Bret appears, dashing to the ring. Chris Benoit sees Bret and both men clash as Bret enters the ring. Referees hit tehr ing as the two men brawl and pull both men apart. Chris is rapid as he does everything he can to reach Bret. Bret can be heard saying Screw it, I’m gonna kick your ass at PPV” as the show goes off the air.

    WEEK 4

The go home show for the Ultimate Chaos PPV kicks off with Tomasso Ciampa coming down to the ring when he's assaulted from behind by the returning Johnny Gargano to a fantastic pop. Johnny gets a good few shots in before Tomaso retreats back up the ramp. Johnny grabs the mic and says his Contract of Chaos meant so much to him, and that the tag team championship meant so much to him, but what means more to him was his friendship with Tomasso. He talks about riding the roads with him, going to town to town together for the love of this business. But the real Ciampa came out when he attacked him he says. Johnny said Ciampa is a jealous, petty little man who will get what he truly deserves at Ultimate Chaos ……...even if he loses his Contract of Chaos as a result.

We switch to Sylvester Stallone's house and the intercom to his house buzzes and security tells him someone is hear to see him, an apartment wrestling trainer. Stallone says he's expecting him as Paul Heyman sent him over. The trainer enters the house and its none other than Paul Heymans good friend from ECW, Rhyno……. And hes dressed like Mick from the Rocky movies.

Rhyno says he's here to administer the compulsory wrestling training and Stallone says he got a wrestling gym set up in his gym. Rhyno laughs and says it was a waste of money as the wrestling training isn't in the ring…..its in the heart. Stallone looks confused as Rhyno says his car is outside and he's taking Stallone to real training and calls him a bum several times.

We switch back and it's time for the 3rd attempt at a Womens Championship match between deserving champion Eva Marie and Nikki Cross.

    Nikki Cross vs Eva Marie

Cross waits in the ring as Eva Marie makes her over-the-top entrance. Marie takes an eternity to get to the ring, clearly stalling and time wasting. The bell eventually rings and Eva Marie stalls some more with more time wasting tactics such as pretending to tie her boots, feigning injury, signing autographs at ringside. As she pretends to sign an autograph fro someone in a Rey Mysterio mask, Nikki Cross seemingly has enough and makes her way to the outside. Cross grabs Eva by the throat, but the masked fan attacks Cross with a right hand flooring her. The masked fan jumps the barricade attacks Cross as Eva Marie cheerleads and directs traffic. The masked fan leaves Cross in a heap before unmasking to reveal her identity…..Shayna Baszler.
    shayna-baszler.jpg

Baszler and the champ leave together with Cross laid out at ringside.

We switch back to Rhyno who has a blindfolded Stallone driven to a mystery location. They arrive and Rhyno reveals that he’s brought Stallone to the meat factory from Rocky 1 where Rocky trained. Stallone is puzzled and tells Rhyno he needs actual wrestling training but Rhyno protests that it's all character building like his movie and he will be inspired. Stallone continues to explain that this is a bad idea, saying it was just a movie and it's all unsanitary to punch meat carcasses. Rhyno ignores him and grabs a carcass and starts wrestling with it. Stallone looks on embarrassed for Rhyno, as the Man-Beast is tossing around the carcass while calling spots

Rhyno : Suplex……… Bodyslam……… Rock Bottom, you should use this move for obvious reasons….you know Rock….Rocky, anyway…..belly to belly…..

We switch back to ringside Mohammad Hassan is out for his tag team title shot against the Wolves.

American Wolves w/ Sean O’Haire versus Mohammad Hussan and ?????? (no DQ Tag Team Championship Match)

The bell rings and Hassan grabs a chair and has a mexican standoff against the Wolves alone. Sean O’Haire grabs a chair of his own and backs up the Wolves in the ring as the commentators wonder where Hassans partner is.

Hassan then backs off and goes outside to grab a mic.
    0.jpg

Hassan : And introducing my tag team partner………..

After a pause as The Wolves looked to the ramp, both Richards and Edwards are struck from behind by their advisor Sean O’Haire. Hassan, chair in hand joins in and its clear now that O’Haire and Hassan are in cahoots all along. The pair batter the Wolves with vicious chairshots and dominate the champs until Edwards is isolated. With Richards tossed to the outside, O’Haire and Hassan deliver a head shattering Con-Chair-To to Edwards and make the pin.

Winners and new champs : HOH (Hassan and O’Haire)

O’Haire and Hassan leave with gold as the Wolves are left for dead.

Next we are back with Rhyno and Stallone, and Rhyno has taken Stallone to another location. . Rhyno says he has a surprise for Sly. Rhyno explains that what made Rocky so successful was catching chickens. Rhyno undoes Stallone's blindfold to reveal he's in a pigeon loft. Stallone is again puzzled and Rhyno says he couldn't find any chickens but his buddy owns this loft. As Stallone is standing, several pigeons poop on him and he explains to Rhyno that you can catch chickens by chasing them but Pigeons just fly away. Rhyno rubbishes Stallone's rationale and says Chickens/Pigeons, same thing and as he does he gets a big poop on his head which enrages him to try chase a few pigeons fruitlessly as Stallone looks on disappointed.

We are back at BCW and it's time for two interviews with Baron Corbin and Roderick strong who face each other at Ultimate

Strong : All my life I’ve dealt with jerks like Corbin. All my life I’ve been told I’m too small, that I didn’t belong, that I wasn’t god enough and I’ve made a career out of proving everyone wrong. I was told I didn’t belong ever since I can remember, I’ve been told I’ll never make it in BCW and when I face Corbin I am going to prove everyone wrong again!

Corbin : I can’t stand Roderick Strong. All I hear about him is that he’s the underdog that won’t quit blah blah, he’s got this never say die attitude yak yak yak. Do you know how many people said I did not belong here? None! Do you know why that is? It’s because they take one look at me and realise I’m born to hurt people, to crush people, to destroy people. No matter how much he dreams, fact is I will be that one bridge too far for Roderick Strong. This Sunday, his little Cinderella story will come to an abrupt end.

We switch back to another scene with Stallone and Rhyno. This time Stallone inside a big high tech gym. Stallone tells Rhyno that this is more like it. Rhyno says he got the idea from Rocky 4. He summons someone over who appears to be a doctor. This doctor has a syringe.

    Stallone : Whats this?

Rhyno : Just some enhancing stuff, you know like Drago in Rocky 4. Once you have these ster…..i mean enhancers inside you, you can pump some serious iron here.

Stallone gets frustrated with Rhyno and pushes him against a nearby wall.

Stallone : Enough. I need wrestling training, I don't need any gimmicks from my movies,

Rhyno : thats it, ITS ABOUT TIME I GOT THE FIRE IN YOUR BELLY OUT! Now we have the anger, now we can channel it to kick Joes ass.

Rhyno is released and he tells Stallone that he will show him the ropes and even the gore if he's lucky.
    Samoa-Joe-Interview.jpg

We switch back to Samoa Joe who tells the camera he is a man of few words, and that he will kill Stallone like Drago killed Apollo.

We are back with New Tag Team Champions Hassan and O’Haire. O’Haire says he gained the trust of The misguided Wolves and exploited it for his own gain…… but then he isn't telling you anything you don't already know.

We are back withy Paul Heyman. He makes Nikki Cross versus Shayna Baszler and Eva Marie for the Womens Title at Ultimate Chaos, as well as Rey Mysterio versus Andrade Cien Almas as well as HOH versus The American Wolves.

The show ends with Bret Hart and Chris Benoit having an official contract signing for their match at Ultimate Chaos. Benoit and Bret have stare down before both are backed away by security. Both Men sign and as Bret goes to leave, Benoit grabs a mic.

Benoit : You make me sick Bret.

Brets stops in his tracks and Benoit has his attention.

Benoit : You think your some hero and that you are holier than thou. You are no better than me as a person. You are selfish, you only care about yourself…… your a fake and these sheep haven't the guts to look past you. The difference between me and you is that I don't pretend I’m something I’m not. What you get is what you see, warts and all. I don’t claim to be perfect, but I will break your face this Sunday.

Bret : The difference between you and me is that I’m not one sick son of a bitch. You are twisted, you think its ok to be who you are despite what you done. You want to talk about fake, I thought you were a decent family man, you had me believe that once upon a time you were a good man and that you were a decent human being. On Sunday I’m going to take great pleasure in hurting you, I’m going to take great pride in making you feel pain….. My only shortcoming is that i won't be able to hurt you like you hurt your son. But make no mistake….. I will make you scream forgiveness….we shall see if I have any mercy in me. I try my best to do one thing you can’t……….make your son proud.

Both men go to brawl at this as Benoit snaps at the last comment. We go off the air with both men being pulled apart trying to get a piece of one another.

    MNG: GRAPPLEMANIA

As the opening video package ends, fireworks and pyro go off from a sell-out crowd at the NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas, where we welcome you to Monday Night Grappling: Grapplemania. There will be 7 seismic contests on show for your pleasure this evening, on a night where careers are at stake, where a man's family and domain are under threat, where 4 titles are on the line - including our main event where the vacant World Heavyweight Championship will be decided. Tonight promises to be both historic and unforgettable. So without any further ado, let us get Grapplemania under way…

    MNG US Heavyweight Championship
    First Time Ever
Barry Windham vs Kerry Von Erich (c)

    BarryWindham008.jpg8f00c381cd1bc9d7d74ea7954be9a82e.jpg

Back story: "Do you realise you and I have never had a one-on-one singles match?"

It was this simple question by Barry Windham to US Champ Kerry Von Erich that would prompt a massive cheer from the Monday Night Grappling audience and set in motion the making of a dream match.

Windham, who had been associating with Brody and Hansen - the two men who had attacked Kerry's brothers David and Kevin - had been shown backstage for weeks watching Kerry in action. But he needed no dastardly heelish plan to get this match.

That simple question to Kerry - as Windham well knew - would result in a fighting champion like Kerry accepting a challenge at Grapplemania. The match is now set.

This is a match for the ages. Which of these Texas icons will have their hand raised?
The match: Both men got big pops from the crowd being natives of Texas, although most of the crowd were behind Kerry.

It was back-and-forth in the early stages but as the match wore on Windham took charge. The story of the match was despite taking control, Windham couldn't put Kerry away. Kerry kicked out of Barry's leaping lariat, numerous superplexes and even a gutwrench powerbomb.

As Windham got frustrated he removed the turnbuckle pad. As he turned back around Kerry nailed him with his Tornado Punch finish but Windham this time kicked out.

Windham recovered and charged Kerry towards the corner - and the exposed turnbuckle - but Kerry reversed it and Windham hit it instead chest-first. This enabled Kerry to hit a backslide and pin Windham 1...2...3.

Winner and still MNG US Champion: Kerry Von Erich

    85388e4672387a6dbb99c9a8728aaefc.jpg

After the match, both men were given a big ovation from the fans. The two men stood nose to nose and Kerry could be seen pointing at the exposed turnbuckle and asking him why he did that. Windham could be seen apologizing. Kerry then extended his hand to Barry as the commentators wondered whether this was a good idea. After a pause...Windham shook hands. Windham then raised Kerry's hand in victory as the fans cheered.

The commentators explained that while Kerry's brothers have had issues with Brody and Hansen - two men Windham has been seen associating with - Windham himself has not crossed any lines.

Why I went with this feud: When I discovered upon researching it that Windham and Kerry never had a one-on-one match-up, I knew this was a bout I had to make. I think these two would click very well and it would be a hot opener for the Texas audience.

Why I booked it this way: I see more mileage in this feud and it doesn't fit the story for the title change to happen just now.

    Singles Match
#1 Contender Match for Junior Heavyweight Title
    Kota Ibushi vs Kushida

    514.0.jpgKushida.jpg
Back story: Both Kota Ibushi and Kushida entered the company at the same time, and the two Japanese stars and former rivals would stick together initially, wowing fans with outstanding performances as part of a popular tag team.

But like so many friendships, the lure of success got in the way.

When a triple threat match was made involving both men and Ricochet facing off for the right to face RVD for the Junior Heavyweight Title, Ibushi and Kushida promised not to let it affect their burgeoning friendship. But as the match progressed, and the near falls racked up, the old rivalry reared its head, with both men busting each other's lips with vicious strikes.

In the end, Ricochet would win the match pinning Ibushi with his 630 senton. Following the bout, Kushida would mock Ibushi claiming he would not have been pinned by Ricochet and blaming Ibushi on him not having a title shot at Grapplemania.

This match has now been made to settle the dispute with the winner earning a future opportunity at the winner of RVD vs Ricochet. Who will become the number one contender and walk away with pride intact?
The match: This contest proved to be a complete contrast to Kerry and Barry's methodical, old-school opener with this one having high-flying jaw-dropping moves galore.

Highlights included Kushida hitting his Midnight Express Corkscrew Moonsault from the top turnbuckle on to Ibushi outside, as well as Ibushi hitting a shooting star over the ropes on to Ibushi outside.

After a dramatic series of near-falls that had fans on their feet, the finish of the match saw Ibushi nailing Kushida with a top rope sitout powerbomb that finally put Kushida down for the 1...2...3.

Winner and new #1 contender for Junior Heavyweight Title: Kota Ibushi.

    170px-Kota_Ibushi_Aug_2015.JPG

After the match Kushida looked on in despair as the commentators noted it is Ibushi that has had the last laugh.

Why I went with this feud: A high-flying contest always adds a lot and with these two you would be guaranteed a stunning spectacle.

Why I booked it this way: Given that Kushida had mocked Ibushi in the storyline for being pinned in the triple threat, I wanted Ibushi to get revenge and redeem himself in the fan's eyes.

    Loser Leaves Company Match
The Rock 'N' Roll Express vs Lance Storm and William Regal

    the-rock-and-roll-express-gallery.jpg?1357438999526x297-Wu3.jpg

Back story: The popular team the Rock 'N' Roll Express very quickly got on the wrong side of Monday Night Grappling Commissioner William Regal. On one occasion accidentally knocking him over while running out to ringside, on another occasion Ricky spilling coffee over him, while Robert was heard badmouthing him within Lance Storm's earshot - who promptly snitched to his mate and boss Regal.

All this would culminate in Regal deciding to make them pay. In a ceremony that saw Ricky and Robert led to believe they were being inducted into this year's Monday Night Grappling Hall of Fame, Regal dropped a bombshell - they were actually being inducted into the first ever William Regal Kiss My Ass club. Regal explained having to do this to Vince McMahon was the worst moment of his career - and now Ricky and Robert would have to do the same or be fired.

Both Ricky and Robert refused and sure enough were told by Regal that they were FIRED. But wait - the board of directors would step in a week later revealing a huge outpouring of support for Ricky and Robert, and blasting Regal for using his ego over common sense, as well as Storm for being complicit.

The board have thus made a match and offered Ricky and Robert a lifeline: the loser of the PPV bout will leave Monday Night Grappling for good. If Ricky and Robert win, they stay put and Regal and Storm go; likewise if Storm and Regal win; they remain and Ricky and Robert go.

Someone is leaving the company for good. These men have contributed plenty to Monday Night Grappling historically. Which duo will depart forever?
The match: Before the match we had a video package reminding fans of two years ago when Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens had to leave the company forever in a match like this. We then had a package showing the history of Morton, Gibson, Storm and Regal in the company.

The early stages of the match were old school classic tag team wrestling with Storm and Regal methodically working over Morton, as Gibson desperately sought the tag. Highlights included Storm hitting beautiful dropkicks and super kicks while Regal worked him over with a variety of suplexes and stretches.

The finish of the match saw Gibson tag in and he and Robert hit some tandem offence that included a double hurricanrana, missile dropkicks and enzugiris.

As Gibson connected on Storm with a swinging neckbreaker he made the cover for 1...2...

...Regal breaks it up. Storm then distracts the ref and that allows Regal to take some brass knucks from his tights and clock Gibson in the jaw. Storm then makes the cover for the 1...2...

    ...but Morton breaks it up!

Ricky tags in and explains to the ref what happened, while Regal makes a blind tag himself. He rolls up Morton for the Regal stretch but Morton counters into a cradle for the 1...2...3! He got him! Regal and Storm are gone!

Winners and staying with the company: The Rock 'N' Roll Express

    rock-n-roll-express-01.jpg?resize=400%2C266

Regal has his head in his hands as Storm looks on in shock. Both of them are gone from Monday Night Grappling forever.

The Rock 'n' Roll Express celebrate in the ring and things get even better as a ring announcer enters the ring and hands them an award - they are this year's inductees in Monday Night Grappling's Hall of Fame.

Regal gets to his feet and can be heard screaming at Ricky and Robert that they're a bunch of "bloody toerags". He turns to Lance for support but Lance instead floors Regal with a Superkick!

    "You got me fired, William!"

    5800%20-%20William_Regal%20blood%20wwf.png

Storm exits the ring in fury as Regal has to be helped out with the help of security as the RNR Express take in the cheers.

Why I went with this feud: I think these two teams would have an excellent match and see their styles working really well together. I also liked playing off of the stip from two years ago about someone having to leave the company.

Why I booked it this way: I considered booking this the other way but I felt that this time, in contrast to how I used this stip with Bockwinkel and Stevens last time, it would be better to give the fans a feelgood moment rather than a sad one.

    World Tag Team Titles
The Von Erichs vs Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody (c)

    02591e61a57e2aff90287a16eafe49ad--von-erich-family-fallen.jpgHansen-and-Brody.jpg
Back story: The team of Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody have been destroying everyone in their path since they arrived as a duo and it wasn't long before they acquired the company's tag team titles.

When David and Kevin Von Erich won the right to be number one contenders for the belts, fans wondered would the popular Texans finally topple the champions.

It seemed Bruiser Brody was concerned too. He and Stan confronted the Von Erichs with Brody telling them out of respect for their father - the man who had trained Brody - he and Stan would give the two men the right to walk away from the match and be spared a beating.

The offer was flatly refused by both Von Erich brothers who insisted they were not afraid, extending their hands to both men and saying may the best team win. This would result in a ferocious assault on both Von Erichs who would be left bloodied and battered.

The stage is now set for Grapplemania where the Von Erichs will be searching for the titles in their home state of Texas - as well as revenge.
The match: Very quickly the match breaks down into a brawl with both teams fighting their way into the aisle, as the referee pleaded with them to return to the ring.

Brody gave Kevin an Atomic Drop on to a guard rail while Hansen delivered a big shoulder tackle on David into the barricade. The commentators noted that the Von Erichs had let their emotions get the better of them and that a brawl suited Brody and Hansen.

Sure enough the tag champs took control and began to wear down the brothers with big power moves. As Brody worked over David he screamed "you made me do this".

After some near-tags and on one occasion David making a tag that the ref refused to allow because his back was turned, eventually Kevin was tagged in and began hitting a series of dropkicks.

The finish of the match saw both men hit running high knees on Hansen who was by this point legal. As David went to intercept Brody who tried to make the save, Kevin made the cover and got Hansen down for the 1...2...

...but the referee is dragged out!

Commentator: Wait a minute! It's Barry Windham! What's he doing out here!

    mutawindham-2.JPG

Windham, who earlier tonight lost to Kerry Von Erich, shakes his head at Kevin who looks on in surprise. Behind Kevin, Stan Hansen has recovered, and as the fans scream at Kevin to watch out, it's too late as Hansen nearly takes his head off with a massive Lariat. He makes the pin for the 1...2...3.

Winners and still World Tag Team Champions: Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody

    93c070bffc8218adf447b657aa26fd2b.jpg

Hansen and Brody celebrate as the fans boo. David goes to check on Kevin, unaware of what has happened, and the tag champs beat him down and leave him laying just like his brother.

As Windham makes his way back up the aisle, Kerry Von Erich storms out and confronts Windham. He demands to know why Barry interfered like that. Windham backs off, and as Kerry is about to go ringside to join his brothers, Windham from behind grabs Kerry and throws him off the stage threw a table below.

The fans boo as Windham picks up Kerry's fallen US Title and holds it over his head. Then he drops it on Kerry's fallen body. Brody and Hansen then join Windham on the ramp as the commentators note it seems these men have gone from associates to a full blown fanction. What will this mean for the Von Erich family moving forward?

Why I went with this feud: I liked the fact that Brody was trained by Kevin and David's father Fritz and felt that added an interesting dynamic for storyline purposes.

Why I booked it this way: I hinted earlier when explaining the Windham vs Kerry match that I felt it didn't fit the story for Windham to win yet, and this is why. I wanted Windham to be teasing a heel turn and aligning with Brody and Hansen, but to wait until the PPV for it to happen. Windham would later explain that he initially wanted to beat Kerry on his own, but now he's willing to take the title by any means necessary. Eventually David and Kevin would win the belts but it's not quite the time for that.

Going forward, the plan would be to have a big 6 man match involving all the guys, and then do tag and US title rematches as well.

    End of part one...

    MNG Junior Heavyweight Championship
    Ladder Match
Rob Van Dam (c) vs Ricochet

    747609281.jpg?305847.jpg
Back story: Rob Van Dam's arrival into Monday Night Grappling was an instant hit as he claimed the company's brand new Junior Heavyweight Championship, a title he has held now for nearly a year.

As RVD continued to wow fans, another name was signed to the company: Ricochet. At first RVD would welcome the new signing but over time fans began clamouring for a match between the two, speculating over who would win. It soon became clear Van Dan's vanity did not take kindly to the suggestion Ricochet could best him. Ricochet too would openly call for the match, warning RVD if he continued to avoid the match, the fans would deafen him not with chants of 'R-V-D' but 'Ri-co-chet': a prediction that turned out to be prophetic.

In the end the decision was taken out of Van Dam's hands, with Ricochet winning a triple threat match involving himself, Kota Ibushi and Kushida to earn the title shot. After the match, RVD would finally confront Ricochet telling him he was a big fan and asking if Ricochet thought he could take on RVD in his best match - the ladder match. Ricochet gladly accepted and the two men shook hands - before Van Dam would knock down Ricochet with a kick, followed by a Rolling Thunder.

Two of the most acrobatic wrestlers in history will collide in a match that promises to be jaw-dropping. This is not to be missed.
The match: Both men got nose to nose before the bell and both slowly gazed upwards at the Junior Heavyweight Championship hanging above. The two men began talking trash as duelling chants began: "Ri-co-chet", "R-V-D", "Ri-co-chet", "RVD".

A flurry of punches opened the exchange with RVD trying for a rolling thunder early only for Ricochet to avoid it, and Ricochet then attempting the same move on Van Dam but RVD avoided it. After each avoiding one another's moves the two faced off as the fans popped.

As the match wore on, Van Dam took control and landed his spin kick off the ring apron on to Ricochet who was prone on the barricade. Van Dam would go on to land some german suplexes before going to get the ladder.

Ricochet however would dropkick the ladder into RVD and what followed were a series of spots involving the ladder that included Ricochet hitting his 630 finisher on to RVD who had the ladder strewn across him - a move that also hurt Ricochet; RVD hitting a split-legged moonsault on Ricochet off the ladder and on to a placed chair.; Ricochet hitting a shooting star off of the ladder on Van Dam; and RVD hitting a five star frog splash on Ricochet off the ladder.

The fans were chanting "holy sh*t" on several occasions as the commentators remarked neither man would ever be the same again.

The finish of the match saw Ricochet nail RVD in the back with a chair, toss it outside, and connect with a running cutter that sent RVD tumbling to the floor. Ricochet then gingerly climbed up the ladder and reached out to take the title...

...until RVD, chair in hand, collided with Ricochet's back with a devastating Van Terminator off the ropes that sent Ricochet crashing to the mat. Van Dam then reached up to retain the title.

Winner and still MNG Junior Heavyweight Champion: Rob Van Dam
    29_raw_03312003_0013-1442715272-800.jpg

The commentators explained that the chair Ricochet had tossed outside had been gathered up by Van Dam, and RVD's proficiency with the chair and his "educated feet" had saved his title reign at the last moment.

Van Dam celebrated up the aisle, grinning from ear to ear knowing he'd just had a lucky escape, while Ricochet looked on wondering what might have been.

Why I went with this feud: I think RVD in his prime circa 2001 would have been an excellent opponent for Ricochet. And the ladder match aspect would really take it up a notch and allow Ricochet showcase more of an extreme side.

Why I booked it this way: Ibushi is the number one contender for the title and the plan would be for him to be the one to end RVD's long reign. I think for RVD to lose it here and then Ricochet to lose it to Ibushi would be a title switch too many. So RVD retains here and extends his long reign, which will make Ibushi's eventual win a bigger deal.

I also feel this is a situation where Ricochet can gain a lot in spite of the loss. The commentators would emphasize that RVD won by the skin of his teeth and put over Ricochet in a big way. Also an extreme match like this is more RVD's forte given his ECW history so I didn't want Van Dam to lose a match like this.

    The Battle For House Hardy
    "The Final War"
Broken Matt Hardy vs Scott Steiner

    Matt-Hardy-Twitter.jpghqdefault.jpg

Back story: "I have a premoneeeeeeetion that speaks of a great evil heading my way..." were the ominous words of Broken Matt Hardy on the first episode of the new season. Nevertheless Broken Matt continued to perform for the fans, becoming one of the most iconic faces of the company.

This great evil, however, would strike weeks before the PPV when two masked men would emerge from the crowd, brutalising Matt and handcuffing him to the ropes. They would reveal themselves as Rick Steiner and Buff Bagwell and they would point to the titantron where a figure could be seen emerging from the Lake of Reincarnation: Scott Steiner.

Steiner, now in the prime physical condition of his youth but with his late 90s craziness intact, spoke of his disgust that the company had given so much time and exposure to "vanilla midget punk bitches" and "goofy sonsabitches like you". Steiner declared himself the new master of House Hardy, renaming it the Big Bad Booty Mansion.

As Broken Matt looked on, Steiner would bring Stacy Keibler into view, carrying Matt's sons King Maxel and Lord Wolfgang while Rebecca was shown tied up in the background. Steiner challenged Broken Matt to be a man and face him for control of the property or he would have to pick a fight with another of Matt's family. As Broken Matt signed the contract presented to him by Bagwell and Rick, the last words that could be heard in the message would be Rebecca screaming ‘Help us, Matt!’

Rick and Buff then beat up Matt some more before uncuffing him. Broken Matt now makes his way home to save his family and the Hardy household itself from the maniac that is Scott Steiner.

    What they say...

Scott Steiner: "This guy calls himself 'Broken' Matt but this sumbitch ain't broken. When I'm through with him he's gonna be broken. He's gonna be known as 'Broken, beat-up, bitch-ass Matt Hardy". And this place will be MINE."

Broken Matt: "The great war is here. And it will be a war of annihilation."

    Brace yourselves...

Who will prevail in this insane contest which the company is branding "The Final War"?

    The Match

Scene I - Matt returns to House Hardy and is greeted by the barely conscious Scribe to the Hardy Household. As Matt helps him up he points to a sign on the gate and passes out. The sign reads 'Big Bad Booty Mansion' daubed in purple paint.

Underneath is a sign that reads:

    - No fat chicks
    - No Brother Neros
    - No wellness testing
    - No punkass vanilla midgets

Matt, if you're reading this, get your overrated ass to my mansion NOW. We're waiting.

    ~ S.S.

Matt, still hurting from his assault at the hands of Bagwell and Rick Steiner, makes his way home.
Scene II - The master bedroom. Stacy Keibler is gazing out of the window biting her nails. Beside her, there is an empty bed with ropes untied. Scott meanwhile is sitting on a big throne he is calling his Steiner Recliner. He is digging his hands into his throne and his face has turned red - more so than usual. Buff and Rick enter the room out of breath.

Buff: We've looked everywhere Scotty but we can't find her or the two kids.

Scott: Damn it Buff I gave you one job and that was make sure they stayed put.

Buff Bagwell: I don't know what happened Scotty. It's not my fault, I swear. If there's one thing I know how to do well it's tie up a lady.

Scott Steiner: Enough of your damn excuses. That dumb broad arranged some way to get 'em all out of here.

    Stacy: I didn't Scott, I swear.

Scott: No I meant the other dumb broad - his wife.

    Stacy: Oh.

Scott: I lost my damn leverage. It's like if I have 3 apples, and I meet a guy with no apples, and I lose 2 of my apples, I still have 1 more apple than the other guy with no apples. But if I lose all of my apples then we're both two hungry guys as bad as each other. The numbers don't lie. Do you see what I'm saying, Buff?

Buff: You want me to go get you apples?

Scott: Buff, I'm going to rip your damn head off and-

Rick: Wait look at this Scotty, by the desk. It's not just a TV - I think it's a security system for the compound. Let me see if I can spot 'em. Wait - there! They're heading toward the zoo - her and the two boys.

Scott: After them. All of you. GO.

As Buff, Rick and Stacy race off in pursuit of Reby, Maxel and Lord Wolfgang, Scott's eyes fall on the front pathway as Matt gingerly makes his way toward the door. Scott smiles.
Scene III - The front door. As Matt knocks three or four times the doors swing open. On the landing he is greeted by the sight of Scott Steiner.

Broken Matt: Daddy of Big Bad Booty...you knew I'd come!

Scott Steiner: So you made it. I didn't think you had the balls. I admire a man with balls, Matt. I look forward to ripping them off you.

Broken Matt: What have you done with my family?

Steiner: You need to worry about me. Remember our deal. Winner gets control of this place for good. I'm going to make you and this company pay for making me take a backseat to punkasses like you.

Broken Matt: Enough! You have threatened my family and the Hardy household. For that I sentence you to DELETION.

Matt charges up the stairs but Steiner slides down the bannister, dismounts, and hits a clothesline that floors Matt. It seems the Lake of Reincarnation which Steiner was seen swimming in last week has given him back his early 90s agility.

Steiner: (looking out the door): Where's the ref?

A referee runs in and Scott makes the first cover...1...2...Matt gets a shoulder up.

Steiner: You want to make a fight of this, Matt? That's fine by me. Follow me to the south side of the compound.
Scene IV - Rebecca, Maxel and Lord Wolfgang are at the Hardy Zoo. Having been hiding with the animals they are discovered by Rick Steiner, Stacy and Buff.

Stacy: Well, well, well. Trust the bitch to wind up in the zoo.

Rebecca: I'm going to make you pay, Stacy. To go from dating Clooney to Steiner...no wonder you went off the deep end.

Buff: Hey Reby, I was wondering: how did you get out of those ropes? I never had a woman break out of them before!

    Rick: Nevermind that. Grab them!

Suddenly a shovel clatters into Rick's back and fells him, as Buff turns in surprise he is clocked in the head.

    senor-benjamin-delete-or-decay-jpg.jpeg?quality=90&w=450&h=315&crop=1

Senor Benjamin: I can't allow that, Senors.

Stacy: What, who the hell are you?

Reby: Senor Benjamin, tie up Buff and Rick and take them away from here. I want them buried worse than Matt was in that Bray Wyatt feud.

Senor Benjamin nods and turns to Stacy.

Senor Benjamin: Lo siento, senorita. I will pray for you.

Reby advances on Stacy who screams.
Scene V - At the south side of the compound, Steiner has set up a ring. As Broken Matt slowly approaches, he sees Steiner waiting in the ring alongside the referee.

Steiner: Let's go, Matt. I know I'm the better wrestler and soon your punk ass will find that out too.

The two men brawl in the ring. Broken Matt gets the better of the early exchanges with rights and lefts that take Steiner down. He lands a Side Effect and goes up to the second rope to hit his diving leg drop - but Steiner avoids it.

Steiner then takes control with a series of suplexes: belly-to-back, exploder and gut-wrenches. Steiner smiles as he senses the end is near
    .

Steiner: As you like to say Matt, it's OVAH!

Steiner hoists Broken Matt up and delivers his Steiner Screwdriver for the

but Matt gets a shoulder up. Steiner gets frustrated and goes outside under the ring. He emerges with a kendo stick and prepares to hit Matt. As Matt gets to his feet, Steiner swings - but Matt ducks and Steiner hits the stick against the ropes which rebounds into his face.

Matt then hits the Twist of Fate for the

    1...

    2...

no! Steiner kicks out. Broken Matt now is in a state of shock. He positions the kendo stick on the neck area of Scott and goes up to the top rope this time - he prepares to go for the leg drop one more time.

But Steiner recovers and leaps to the top rope and hits a top rope Frankensteiner. But unfortunately for Steiner, Matt has been hit so well that he bounces over the other side of the ring to the floor below.

    Steiner: Son of a b*tch!

Steiner climbs down ringside and walks around to where Matt fell - but Matt is gone.
Scene VI - Reby gazes down at the unconscious Stacy who is laid out in a big pile of poop from the giraffe General Washington.

Reby: She always thought she was the sh*t. Now she is.

Reby steps out into the air as the sun begins to set when she hears a cry of pain not far away; it is Senor Benjamin. When she races to the scene she finds Buff still tied up - but no sign of Rick anywhere.

Reby: Senor Benjamin! Where is Rick what happened?

Senor Benjamin: He took my taser. He gone. Towards cabin.

Reby: That's where I left the kids!

Buff (coming to): Hey, Rick escaped?! Why didn't he free me?

Reby knocks Buff out again with the shovel and moves towards the nearby cabin.

Scene VII - It is nightfall now. Back at ringside, Scott searches for Broken Matt who has vanished. He lifts up the apron and looks inside. He goes to the second side of the ring and does the same. And then looks under the third side. Steiner then hears a violin begin to play behind him. He approaches the final side of the ring to see..

    Broken Matt: (holding fireworks): DELETE!

Matt unleashes more fireworks than you'd hear Halloween night in Dublin's northside as Steiner ducks for cover. As the smoke clears, Matt approaches - and finds Steiner has found some rockets of his own.

Broken Matt turns and runs towards the lake with Steiner shooting rockets after him. Much to Matt's relief there is a dilapidated boat nearby to come to his rescue aka "Skarsgard". Matt takes shelter as Steiner continues firing off rockets.
Scene VIII - Rick enters the mysterious, dark cabin in search of the kids, Maxel and Lord Wolfgang.

Rick Steiner: I know you're in here. I ain't gonna hurt you. Come out, come out wherever you-

    A voice: Heeeheeeheeheee. Ahahahahaha.

Rick: What? Who the hell is that?

A voice: Aww don't tell me you don't remember me, you big idiot? I thought that moment we had back in WCW was special.

A light then shines on a silhouette of a small frame in the corner of the room.

    Rick: Wait, no...it can't be...Chucky?!

A voice: Give the big bozo a cookie.

As Rick moves towards the silhouette a net falls from above. As Rick struggles to free himself from the net, a cover falls from the silhouette and we see it's actually Maxel, with Lord Wolfgang sat beside him.

Rick: Maxel? But you can't talk!

From behind, the whirring sound of a drone can be heard.

Vanguard 1: Ceasing voice mimickry protocol ~ Chucky.

    ~ Now commencing ass-whoop protocol.

Vanguard 1 then drops a hammer from below on Rick's head who goes out cold.

    Vanguard 1: Boo ya.
Scene IX - We return to the Lake of Reincarnation where Scott Steiner has toppled Skarsgard off of Matt and begins dunking Matt under the waters of the Lake.

After some moments, Scott realises Matt is no longer in his grasp.

Steiner: Rest in Pieces you punk ass b*tch.

Steiner turns to leave when Matt bursts forth from the water.

    sd.jpg

Matt (doing the V1 hand signal): Hey Steiner, Matt Hardy...version one...is here to owe you a beatdown. Did you think I'd forgotten your WWE debut in 2002 when you assaulted me? Now you can deal with some of this Mattitude!

Matt, reinvigorated by the Lake of Reincarnation, begins hammering Steiner back towards the woodland. He takes Steiner down, and notices a nearby tree. Matt removes his shirt and goes up top.

Matt: Time for some old school Hardy Boyz!

Matt from ten feet above attempts a huge moonsault but Scott rolls out of the way and Matt crashes and burns.

Steiner: You dumbass vanilla midget. Time to end this.

Matt coughs and splutters as Steiner picks up a nearby piece of bark and prepares to strike.

Matt: I was a fool to revert to my spot monkey ways. Forgive me, seven deities. I implore you. Return my broken brilliance! Hear me now, deities!

A bolt of lightning hits the bark and sends it out of Steiner's hand.

    Scott Steiner: The hell?

As Steiner turns, he sees Matt, now restored to his broken brilliance. Broken Matt then gets a flashback.

Flashback Steiner quote from earlier: "I didn't think you had the balls. I admire a man with balls, Matt."

Broken Matt: Yaaaaasssssss. The seven deities have shown me the way. The Lake of Reincarnation is the key.

    Steiner: What?

Broken Matt: The Lake of Reincarnation restored you to your physical prowess, ridding you of your bloated roid-head self. But it also gave you back something else which your years of roids had taken from you - your balls!

Matt then blasts Steiner with a low blow as Steiner screams in anguish. Matt then connects with a Twist of Fate on to the fallen tree bark and makes the cover...

Scene X - The aftermath of battle. As Broken Matt staggers back towards House Hardy he is reunited with Queen Rebecca.

Broken Matt: My queen, are you okay? King Maxel? Lord Wolfgang?

Rebecca: They're wonderful. Senor Benjamin and Vanguard 1 helped us.

Broken Matt: Ah, delightful! I asked Vanguard 1 to enter the premises and untie the ropes. And I knew Senor Benjamin, my trusted soldier, could be counted upon.

    Rebecca: What about Steiner?

Broken Matt (looking back towards the lake): DELETED!

The camera pans out towards the lake as we fade out.

The final scene shows morning time as the entire Broken family are assembled outside the Hardy House. Senor Benjamin is in the driver's seat of his pick-up truck as Broken Matt loads the tied-up Rick, Buff and Stacy into the back.

Broken Matt: Senor Benjamin, are you ready for your journey?

    Senor Benjamin: Yes, Mr. Hardy.

Rick: Where are you taking us?

Vanguard 1 produces a hologram showing the words "BWA" and "WECWF".

Rick: No, not there! Anywhere but there!

Broken Matt: Yaaassssssssss. Now you will truly fade away and classify yourselves as OBSOLETE.

    Stacy: What happened to Scott?

Rebecca: Vanguard 1 scanned the compound. I'm afraid he's like you and Clooney: history.

Buff: So Stacy I guess that means you're available?

As Stacy looks about to throw up, Broken Matt taps the truck and Senor Benjamin takes the villains away.

Broken Matt: Now let us celebrate. Tonight we shall mark our victory in The Final War in in the customary tradition: with a big plate of Green Beans!

The family head indoors as the camera pans one last time towards the lake and its still waters.
Why I went with this feud: I needed someone to be a good counter to Broken Matt's craziness and eccentricities and who better than Scott Steiner who is like that in his own unique, menacing way.

Why I booked it this way: Writing this was unlike any match I've ever written for in the Draft before. It took me longer to write this than anything I've ever done. I tried to capture the whackiness and humour of The Final Deletion, Delete or Decay etc. I decided to break it up into scenes to make it more readable and to give a sense of the different cuts that would take place during the action.

As this match is Matt's specialty, I felt he had to win and it allowed me to introduce Senor Benjamin and Vanguard 1. I think the manner of the loss doesn't hurt Steiner and I'd keep him off TV in the aftermath before he'd return for revenge.

Chris Jericho vs Kenny Omega II

    chris-jericho-promo.jpgkenny_omega_render_by_rendermaker-db6ukaf.png

Back story: The debut of Chris Jericho in Monday Night Grappling turned out to be a bittersweet experience. While the fans took him into their hearts immediately, Jericho spoke openly about the pain of his loss to Kenny Omega in Japan – his most high-profile defeat in recent memory.

Jericho pledged to put the loss behind him – but fate had other ideas. In a Battle Royal to determine the company's new World Champion, Jericho would eliminate Bruiser Brody to seemingly win the title – only to discover there was one entrant left: Kenny Omega. The man who had defeated Jericho was now signed to the company.

As Omega darted to the ring, the two men locked up and immediately sent one another tumbling over the ropes. As everyone wondered what the result would now be, the official decision was a draw – meaning the title would remain vacant until Grapplemania. Both men were now considered the top contenders and would face off to crown the new champion.

Iniitally, Jericho was reluctant. Omega would spend weeks taunting him, claiming that there was no Alpha Club now; instead Kenny claimed following his win in New Japan he was "The Alpha and the Omega". In response to the taunts, and the doubts he himself had, Jericho would reveal he had gone on a personal pilgrimage to the Hardy Household, and had tasted from the so-called Lake of Reincarnation. ‘I’ve been drinking it in…maaaaaaaaaan.’

What that means is this match now won’t involve the grizzled Jericho of New Japan, nor the suit-wearing Jericho of a decade ago. No, this will be old-school Jericho, "the Ayatollah of Rock n’ Rollah" back to get revenge in a match being billed as the biggest rematch in the business.

    What they say…

Kenny Omega: "Jericho can talk all he wants about being ‘back’ and his reincarnation but there will be no Phoenix arising from the flames. The Alpha Club is dead. I killed it. I am now The Alpha and the Omega. And at Grapplemania, I will become a World Champion."

Chris Jericho: "Kenny Omega will you please….SHUT...THE HELL...UP. This time you’re going face to face with the Millenium Man. The King of the World. This time you’re taking on a man who knows what it takes to be an Undisputed Champion. This time you’re in over your head, junior. And you will never…eeeevvvvvverrrrr...be the same…again."

    It's moments away...

The biggest rematch in the business comes to you live on PPV. The five star classic rematch the world has been waiting for. It will be a modern icon vs a vintage great. "The Alpha and the Omega" vs Y2J. Who will take home the title?
    The match:

Omega came out first and we had a video package showing pictures of him as a kid all the way through to his last few years in the business, with him explaining how this is the biggest match of his career. He came out to a new theme that proclaimed him to be 'Alpha and Omega'. He got a big ovation.

Jericho was out next and before his entrance we saw a montage of all his big career moments: his debut on Raw, defeating Rock and Austin on the same night to become Undisputed Champion, and his recent loss to Omega in Japan that has been gnawing away at him all this time. He came out to his theme and titantron from 1999 and got an equally huge ovation.

After the ring announcer did the introductions and the referee held aloft the vacant World Heavyweight Title, the two men got face to face.
Commentator #1: Check out the flash bulbs. This is a Grapplemania moment, ladies and gentlemen! Two icons of our sport will collide one more time in a rematch the world has been waiting for.

Commentator #2: The fans are chanting ‘this is awesome’ and they haven’t even done anything yet. I can't wait for this one!
The bell rang and Jericho immediately went after Omega, hammering him with rights and lefts and chops that sent Omega down. Jericho then did his cocky foot-on-the-chest pin as Omega kicked out at one and went outside to catch a breather. "Come on, baby!" yelled Jericho as he motioned Kenny to kiss his ass. Omega darted back in the ring and Jericho sidestepped him, sending him over the ropes on the opposite side. Omega was getting visibly frustrated and began throwing chairs.
Commentator #1: This is not the way Omega envisioned this match would go early on, and boy he is irate!

Commentator #2: Omega's never faced this version of Jericho before. The brash, cocky Y2J. And he's been taken out of his comfort zone thus far.
Omega returned to the ring - after making his opponent wait - and eventually Omega countered the momentum of the match, via a rake of the eyes and some dragon and german suplexes that had Jericho reeling. Omega began working over Jericho's shoulder, and as we neared the 20 minute mark he signalled for the end. He hoisted Jericho up for what the announcers speculated was for the One Winged Angel but Jericho slipped out, grabbed him and both men went tumbling over the ropes - a nod to the finish of the battle royal between the two for the title a few weeks back. The fans began duelling chants at this point.

    Fans: 'Let's go Kenny', Y-2-J'. 'Let's go Kenny'. 'Y-2-J'.

Omega was first to his feet and began taking off the monitors from the Spanish announce table as the commentators reminded us this was No Disqualification. He clocked Jericho with the monitor and placed him on the table - then he began climbing the turnbuckle as the fans got to their feet.
Commentator #1: Don't do this, Omega!
Omega then climbs down off the turnbuckle as fans groan. The commentators note that the fans don't like it but that common sense has prevailed - but not quite - Omega stomps his feet to the Terminator theme and decides instead to do his Rise of the Terminator running suicide dive over the ropes and on to Jericho on the table outside. The table breaks as the fans go wild.

    Fans: Holy sh*t, holy sh*t.

Omega after some time is able to roll Jericho's motionless body into the ring and he pins Jericho...1...2...but Jericho gets a shoulder up.

The final moments of the match see Omega place the chair and position Jericho for a One Winged Angel on to it. The commentators note this won Omega the original match in Japan. He hoists Jericho up but Jericho escapes and hits a bulldog to Omega on the chair. He then hits his Lionsault for the

No! Omega kicks out. Jericho then picks up the chair and rears back but Omega counters with a V-Trigger knee-strike that staggers Jericho. Omega then hoists Jericho up for his Croyt's Wrath - an Electric Chair Drop into a German Suplex.
Commentator #1: Jericho landed right on the shoulder that Omega's been targeting all match.
With that Omega makes the pin on Jericho for the

Jericho kicks out! Omega tears at his hair as Y2J somehow stays in the contest. Everyone in the arena is now standing.

    Fans: 'Let's go Kenny' 'Y-2-J' 'Let's go Kenny' 'Y-2-J'!

Omega signals that this is the end and goes to pick up Jericho but Y2J fights out and locks in...could it be...
Commentator #2: It's the Walls of Jericho! He's got it locked in!

    XIX_display_image_display_image.png?1306987212
Omega screams in agony as Jericho has the move in tight. "Ask him!" shouts Jericho. Omega reaches out with his hands but Jericho drags Omega away from the ropes and into the centre of the ring.

With nowhere to go, Omega reaches out with his hand and has to tap...

...or does he? He bites on his hand as he desperately seeks to avoid submitting. He is able to crawl some more and using all his strength he sits up, turns, and is able to kick off Jericho. As Y2J charges, Omega hits another V-Trigger to Jericho's hurt shoulder that sees Jericho cry out in pain. Omega then hoists Jericho up and is able to land the One Winged Angel - on the chair.

Fans are jumping up and down now, some punching the air, some with their head in their hands. A "this is awesome" chant breaks out.

Omega shakes his head in disbelief. But then he composes himself. He picks up Jericho and makes the gesture of a gun with his thumb and index finger. He says to the camera, "This one's for you, Ferg." He is going for the Bloody Sunday that Prince Devitt made famous.
Commentator #1: We've seen this in the past - Omega paying homage to previous leaders of the Bullet Club.
Omega goes to hoist Jericho up but Jericho reverses out of it and lands another bulldog. He goes for another Lionsault but Omega this time is able to get the knees up as Jericho collapses to one knee.

Omega then heads outside the ropes. He points to his elbow and looks to the camera. "This one's for you, AJ."
Commentator #2: Looks like Omega is signalling for AJ Style's Phenomenal Forearm.
Omega launches himself off the ropes with his elbow poised to strike but Jericho catches him in mid-air with a Codebreaker! Jericho then makes the cover...

    3. It's over! Jericho has done it!

Winner and new Undisputed MNG World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Jericho

    chris-jericho-champion.jpg

Jericho sinks to his knees, tears in his eyes, as the referee hands him the World Championship. Confetti falls and fireworks go off; Omega too is on his knees and in tears. Jericho then celebrates on the turnbuckle as the fans cheer.

Behind him Omega rises and approaches. As Jericho climbs down and turns he sees Omega and stops. Jericho's music comes to a halt as the two men stare each other down while the fans look on.

Omega stares at the World Title for a few moments, then he holds up his right index finger and then his left index finger. "That's one each," he can be seen mouthing. He then extends his hand. Jericho smiles and nods. "One each," says Jericho. They shake hands.

Omega leaves the ring and lets Jericho have the moment as Jericho's theme restarts and the fans cheer some more. The announcers note that tonight was Jericho's night - but the story of these men seems far from over.

Why I went with this match: I think most people figured out this was my plan early on. These guys had a great match last time that is fresh in people's minds, and with the Draft allowing us to take guys in their prime, a prime Chris Jericho vs a prime Kenny Omega is an even more special prospect.

Why I booked it this way: The story of the feud was Jericho being shaken by his previous loss to Omega in Japan, so I felt it was necessary here for Jericho to win this one and even up the score; this also paves the way for the big trilogy bout between the pair. The plan from here would be for Omega to take the title in the third match and cement the triology in style.

That concludes my submissions this year. Thanks to those who took the time to read and to beakerjoe for overseeing the game.

ICE Wrestling Fallout Podcast with Corey Graves

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQFUapRwHW5xTEBg9BdzdPgD3pBEl5dcLPNbV_tT-ShpjJ8ha4y

Hi folks, welcome to the ICE Wrestling Fallout Podcast, with me Corey Graves and my special guest, ICE Wrestling Staffer and Squared Online's Don Murphy.

Corey Graves: Today we are discussing the fallout from ICE Wrestling’s 2nd PPV of the year, Road to ICE and Fire. The big stories going into the PPV were about two wrestling returns, The Rock and Trish Stratus.

Initially Rocky was involved in ICE Wrestling as an investor; he brought in Trish, Mike Tyson and Mick Foley. After the injuries to Mick Foley at the previous PPV, Dwayne “Rocked” up to ICE Wrestling TV with Alberto Del Rio firmly in his sights. Rock ended up challenging Alberto Del Rio to put his title on the line one more time but this time against the Rock himself. Del Rio laughed off the idea initially but Rock goaded him into a match and (majority) owner DM signed off on the bout.

Don Murphy: Interestingly, Alberto has also put his place in the main event of the Ice & Fire PPV on the line. Normally the Road to event is about getting people ready for the show rather than title shots. If Del Rio lost he also lost out on the main event at Ice and Fire.

Alberto Del Rio (Champion) v The Rock - ICE Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship

Corey Graves: So the big fallout here is the news that, not only did Rock return but he is now the ICE Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion.

Don Murphy: Yeah and The Rock looked great upon his return, as did Del Rio who is always in great shape, the crowd loved this occasion.

Corey Graves: The end of the came when we got a typical ref bump, Del Rio grabbed the ref while Rock went for a Rock bottom,

Don Murphy: ICE Wrestling need to look at these ref bumps !

Corey Graves: Come on Don, it's typical wrestling, anyway this ref bump led to the return of the one and only Mick Foley.

Del Rio was obviously distracted, allowing Rock a chance to hit a spine-buster and People’s elbow. Mick, as GM then counted the 1-2-3. If that was not controversial with a hint of a fast count.

Don Murphy: I didn’t see any fast count!

Corey Graves: Me neither Don, but Del Rio thinks it happened and he challenged Foley to another, as he put it, fight via twitter

    Don Murphy: How very 2018!

Corey Graves: Indeed, challenged Foley to one more match at ICE & Fire PPV, in a street fight.

Don Murphy: Foley will love that.

Corey Graves: After the match, the Rock himself did not get much chance to enjoy his victory as Naito appeared on the big screen and reminded everyone that Naito is the challenger for the ICE and Fire PPV.

What did you make of this bout Murphy?

Don Murphy: Yeah Corey it was a great moment for ICE Wrestling, in 2018 to have the Rock on any wrestling show is genuinely amazing. The clip of him winning the title on you tube is already over the 10 million mark. Some people are not so happy about ICE Wrestling seeing part timers arrive but as a storyline, it makes sense for Rock to be back and its great publicity for the promotion. We can also look forward to two big bouts, Rock v Naito and Foley v Del Rio.

Corey Graves: Now for a quick work from the ICE Wrestling Network

    ICE Wrestling Network Commercial

Corey Graves: So welcome back to the ICE Wrestling Fallout Podcast and the next bout to discuss saw Natalya take on the Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair for Flair's World title.

Don Murphy: This was a huge bout for both competitors; the champion put her title and chance to be in a title match at ICE and Fire on the line while Natalya, if she lost, would not receive another title shot in ICE Wrestling.

Corey Graves: Just for anyone who missed it, Natalya arrived here in ICE Wrestling fired up for one more title run, the owner said he signed her as mentor for people like Toni Storm and if she proved her worth after not getting drafted at all last year then maybe she could get into the title mix. Natalya jumped in feet first and challenged Charlotte who accepted the bout. Natalya convinced ICE wrestling owner DM Seven to make the match by accepting a special condition (lose and lose the right to challenge for the gold ever again).

Charlotte (Champion) v Natalya - ICE Wrestling Women's Championship

Don Murphy: The crowd were really into the match; it brought back memories of their NXT bout from a few years back.

Corey Graves: With the headlines of Trish v Charlotte all over the place, we may as well jump to the finish. Charlotte retained her title but this time, with everything on the line, the challenger was not going to submit and despite locking in the figure 8, three separate times Charlotte had to effectively knock out Natalya by hitting the Natural Selection and getting a pin.

Don Murphy: This bout was great for ICE Wrestling as it showed how important the women’s title is to this promotion. Charlotte is a great leader by accepting, rather than running from challenges while Natalya refused to give up until it was physically impossible for her to do anything about it.

Trish Stratus v Toni Storm - No 1 Contender

Corey Graves: So after that we got Toni Storm v the returning Trish Stratus. Trish was special guest referee between Toni and Charlotte a few weeks back, after this Trish asked Toni for a match as she wanted to prove to herself she could still go in the ring.

Don Murphy: DM Seven made this bout a no 1 contenders bout.

Corey Graves: As we already said, Trish would win her return to the ring.

Don Murphy: This was an impressive return for Trish, she was able to keep up with Toni early on and even though Toni took control, and came close to winning with a couple of near falls

Corey Graves: Trish showed some resilience to survive and took advantage when Toni's knee gave out during a suplex attempt.

Don Murphy: A chick kick later and we had Charlotte Fair v Trish Stratus at ICE and Fire all set up'

Survivor Series Style Tag Team Match

Corey Graves: Great stuff Don, we better cover what happened earlier i the show.

We had a Survivor Series Style Tag match of heels v faces . On one side we were supposed to have Naito, Rush and Lethal (LIWW), Neville and Wolfgang v Jeff Cobb, Fenix, Jay White, Dalton Castle and Pentagon Dark.

Don Murphy: Pentagon Dark though never turned up for his match, that should be a surprise but the way he is acting these days, distracted to say the least, he never turned up. Owner DM Seven had a solution though and brought in the legendary Tajiri to the good guy Team.

Corey Graves: I enjoyed commentating on this bout and it was not surprise to see Naito and Neville be the last two standing on the heel team but I was shocked to find they were outnumbered 2 to 5. Two Thirds of LIWW did not leave peacefully though, distracting Fenix long enough for Naito to pin him.

Don Murphy: After that, Jay White and Castle ended up miscommunicating with say White eliminated by Neville before Naito eliminated Castle. In the end, it became 2 on 1 when Neville eliminated Tajiri.

The odds of facing Naito and Neville were even too much for the IC Champ and the two heels stood tall at the end of the bout.

Corey Graves: That is the end of the review and we have three major headlines, three major matches now has three huge bouts set up for ICE and Fire.

Don Murphy: Yes the bouts all feature legends and are easy to “Get” even for casual fans:

The Rock (World Champion) v Naito

Charlotte Flair (World Champion) v Trish Stratus

Alberto Del Rio v Mick Foley (Street Fight)

Corey Graves: As Murphy touched on, the three bouts now advertised will grab headlines. ICE Wrestling has some of the best talent in the world today. So, we will be back before ICE and Fire to talk about how the rest of the ICE and Fire PPV comes together over the next few weeks.

Corey Graves ICE and FIRE PPV Preshow Podcast special

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQFUapRwHW5xTEBg9BdzdPgD3pBEl5dcLPNbV_tT-ShpjJ8ha4y

Corey Graves: Hi Folks, welcome to today’s ICE Wrestling preview with me Corey Graves and ICE Wrestling staffer Don Murphy.

    Don Murphy: Hey Folks

    Corey Graves: As promised at our Road to ICE and Fire review we are back to get you ready with all the key info about this huge event. We knew at the time about three huge matches but the focus of this review is to fill you in on the rest of the card and how the bouts came together;

Let’s have a quick run-down of the card:

    1. The Rock (Champion) v Naito - ICE Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship

    2. Charlotte Flair (Champion) v Trish Stratus - ICE Wrestling Women's Championship

    3. Alberto Del Rio v Mick Foley _ Street Fight

    4. Diamond Contract Match: Switchblade v Castle v TBC

    5. Toni Storm v Carmella (W/Natalya)

    6. Rush and Lethal v Fenix and Mike Tyson

    7. Neville v Riddle

    8. Jeff Cobb (Champion) v Pentagon Dark - IC Title

    Neville v Riddle

Don Murphy: This match goes back to the Semi Final of the No 1 contender’s tournament for ICE and Fire. Riddle defeated Neville in the Semi Final but Neville got involved in the final and used a steel chair to hurt Riddle’s Ankle. Riddle could not make it back into the ring for the Road to event but he was promised this bout by ICE wrestling owner DM Seven.

Corey Graves: So early in the Road to ICE and Fire PPV show was my chance to Interview King Neville.

Before I could even start the interview, Neville cut me off an introduced a video package he had produced to remind everyone how he severely damaged Riddle’s ankle during the no 1 contenders match.

Then I asked Neville if he put Riddle on the shelf, as he was bitter and jealous that Riddle defeated him in the Semi Finals of the tournament.

Don Murphy: Neville didn’t like that line of questioning did he?

Corey Graves: No way Don, He refused to entertain any questions about it or the notion that he was bitter about the result. Neville took great joy in what he had done to Riddle.

Neville would explain that wrestling is about making a lasting impact and finding a way to be remembered. Riddle is only a flash in the pan who would easily be forgotten and probably intended to go back to MMA anyway.

Don Murphy: Yeah he really didn’t see any problem with his actions and even thinks he did Riddle a favour?

Corey Graves: Well Neville thinks that later in life, when he is a multi-time world champion and hall of famer, The King of wrestling, that thanks to Neville, Riddle will also be remembered. He will always be remembered as the guy who had his ankle smashed and career forever altered by King Neville.

Don Murphy: Despite your own efforts Corey, the best part of this interview was the interruption by Riddle.

Corey Graves: Yeah, eventually a still hurting Riddle would reappear in ICE wrestling while Neville as running his mouth. Neville ran his body out of the ring. Riddle had a proclamation of his own this time, he would return to wrestling, he will win the world heavyweight championship but first he was going to dethrone a self-proclaimed King at ICE and Fire.

    Pentagon Dark v Jeff Cobb

Corey Graves: A few weeks ago, at the event Jeff Cobb won the Ice Wrestling Intercontinental Title, we saw Pentagon Dark distracted by thoughts in his mind and in particular fans dressed as Cobb’s alter ego Matanza Cueto. After the match, Pentagon spoke to his brother of needing to vanquish his demons and a clash of these two became inevitable.

Cobb, unlike Pentagon spoke of his delight to be a champion already in ICE Wrestling and his happiness to leave behind the cartoonish characters of the past, that he wanted to show the world who Jeff Cobb is. He is a fighting champion and will defend the title against all comers, ICE Wrestling, New Japan, it is all the one to him.

When Cobb was later confronted by Pentagon, who refused to call him anything other than Matanza (Cueto), it did not go down well with Jeff. After a successful defence of his title v Tajiri, Pentagon Dark would threaten the safety of the man he called Matanza’s brother, Cobb quickly decided he was not going to be able to reason with Pentagon Dark and said he would give him the match he wants and help him get over whatever madness has taken him over.

Don Murphy: This is an interesting pairing. Cobb he wants the world to see him for the performer he is, not as some comic book like character from the past. He wants fans to see the Intercontinental Championship as the cornerstone of the men’s division, that Cobb is Mr Athletic for a reason. Pentagon’s obsession is stopping him focusing on the Athleticism and competition and dragging him back into something from a Marvel or DC universe movie.

Corey Graves: While Pentagon Dark is all in on his own persona and sees others as his nemesis to be removed form existence.

Don Murphy: Meanwhile the fans are split by the feud, some more traditional fans are all in on the man all about the title, about competition while others shout for the man who looks and acts like the bad guy from a blockbuster movie.

Diamond Contract Match: Switchblade v Castle v TBC

Corey Graves: This bout is about the future and opportunity. An important stipulation bout in history of the federation. The winner of this bout earns the Diamond Contract, the holder of this contract can challenge the ICE Wrestling World Champion at any event before the end of the next years ICE and Fire PPV.

The announced competitors were selected by the owner DM Seven as he sees them as important people in the future of Wrestling.

The TBC means a yet to be confirmed talent will be added to the match at the ICE and Fire PPV as a surprise for fans and reward to a Superstar for their sacrifices to ICE wrestling.

    Don Murphy:
Switchblade coming over from New Japan and getting this chance is interesting; it shows ICE Wrestling are confident that agreement is working for both sides. Castle has not got going yet in ICE Wrestling so this chance is huge for him. They both lost out to Cobb for the IC title, it sure would be interesting to see Cobb added to this bout.

Corey Graves: yeah the “to be confirmed” part is interesting and adds more intrigue to the bout.

    Toni Storm v Carmella (W/Natalya)

Don Murphy: Toni made a splash in ICE Wrestling by challenging the Champion, while she came up short in her quest she earned the respect of the a legendary performer Trish Stratus, the fans and backed up Mick Foley’s belief in her.

Corey Graves: Carmella debuted in ICE wrestling the night after ICE and Fire by cracking Toni over the head with her WWE Ms MITB briefcase during a bout with Natalya.

We soon found out that Carmella reached out to Natalya after she lost to Charlotte, losing her chance to be a champion in ICE Wrestling and asked her to be a her mentor, Carmella wants to eliminate Toni as competition for the title.

Rush and Lethal v Fenix and Mike Tyson

Don Murphy: Pentagon Dark and Fenix would challenge Lethal and Rush after LIWW interference in their no 1 contender tournament bouts.. That match got off to a bizarre start when during the entrances; Jay Lethal was in full cosplay mode as Pentagon Machismo. Los Ingobernables won out after a mistake from Fenix.

Corey Graves: While all was well in camp LIWW (Los Ignorables World Wide) the brothers of Fenix and Pantagon Dark went their separate ways. Pentagon Black wanted to challenge an old foe in Jeff Cobb. Fenix though was determined to continue to go after LIWW.

Don Murphy: Fenix tackled both Rush and Lethal in different matches. Lethal inevitably became Fenix Machismo to mess further with Fenix before he eventually found an unlikely ally in the incomparable Mike Tyson.

Corey Graves: Tyson was brought to ICE Wrestling by the Rock to promote the shows. While Rock interviewed Tyson on the ring, LIWW interrupted and tried to recruit Tyson telling him how Rock like to play the baddest man in movies but Tyson is the baddest man on the planet and ingobernable.

While LIWW thought, their plan was working, Tyson helped Rock when LIWW tried to attack the Rosk and Jay Lethal was hit with a STRONG body hook by Tyson. Later they would have a go at Tyson telling him they are sorry, sorry that Like is now the Saddest Man on the plant. This time they tried to attack Tyson but Fenix helped run them off and an unlikely alliance was born.

Corey Graves: That is for today folks, if you missed part 1 of the preview it is time to go back and check it out. I will of course be on commentary while Don will be working media and live tweeting from the show.

See you all at ICE and Fire.

    Welcome to BWA Wrestlepalooza!
    iFNjsn0.png
Live from "The Big House" Michigan Field

    D'Lo Brown vs Luca Brasi
Backstory, Dusty Rhodes night after KOTR reveals Luca Brasi as the mystery investor (perhaps on behalf of Don Corleone), D'Lo outs Brasi as a former wrestler Leonardo Passafaro and challenges him to a match, he says he is leaving money on the table with D'Lo, questions what the Don must think of such a waste of his money. only at the mention of Don Corleone does Brasi actually respond to Browns repeated call outs and agrees to a match at Wrestlepalooza in which if D'Lo wins he can become a free agent in control of his own contract but if he loses he will have to earn the wages in that contract working for Brasi who says he always does need a good shoe shine boy.
    250?cb=20101106124725

    Match details:

D'Lo Brown starts this one hot and comes at Brasi a million miles an hour. The man wants to be freed from his contract, he wants to control his own destiny and he sure as hell is going to fight tooth and nail in order to make that a reality. He looks like he could do it too after sweeping Don Corleone's enforcers leg and then leaping up to the top rope and delivering a big leg drop. However instead of going for a pin he instead heads back up to the top rope and tries for his "Lo Down" Frog splash. Brasi however gets his knees up and this is where things turn in the mafioso's favor.

Luca Brasi started by stomping down on him, then choking the life out of him before tossing him into the corner and repeatidly smashing him again and again with gargantuan right and left hooks. Finally he hit a devastating looking piledriver on Brown in the center of the ring laying him out. The Godfathers man looks in complete control as he stands over brown flexing and kissing his muscles when out of nowhere D'Lo rolls him up in a school boy and just about gets a 3count!

Everyone is stunned, Luca Brasi more than most as D'Lo Brown rolls to the outside and although still stumbling around selling his injuries starts to celebrate like crazy, he has just won back his livelihood!
    Winner:
    D'Lo Brown

    348hsub.png
Why I booked this? D'Lo is not leaving the promotion but now he finally has a story, he is the one man in the BWA who controls his own fate. He could walk whenever he chooses but there will always be something keeping him in the promotion not least his opponent tonight who (despite looking really impressive and the loss being really sold as a shock stolen win) will not be satisfied with the result and will no doubt do everything within his power to even the score.
    Naomi vs Tamina
    BWA Womens title match
    Backstory - Family Feud

Naomi celebrates, just like her Husband and the rest of her family she is a champion... Tamina, who pretends she is about to celebrate with Naomi before instead cracking her newly won title across her skull! speaking of family she says that Naomi only won the Title/match because of Tamina or due to Tamina not being in the triple threat. She also laughs at the idea that Naomi is like the rest of the family, Naomi from Florida, married into her family and only got into this industry because she could shake her booty. Tamina meanwhile was born into this business, She learned her craft at the wild samoan training center, her father is Hall of Fame legend, her cousin is none other than The Rock and hell she was the one who brought The Usos to the WWE main roster. She says that she is not only the most dominant women in their family but in the BWA as a whole and that if Naomi disagreed then she should face her at Wrestlepalooza to settle it!
    YcrQpxt.jpg

The Usos try to talk Tamina out of her course of action backstage on Raw saying that the family is stronger together but Tamina is adamant and tells Jimmy to get his wife to agree to the match (when they can settle their issues) or she will break her. Later that night in the middle of the ring Naomi displays and then signs a BWA women's' title match contract to face Tamina but the moment she does Tamina rushes the ring and catches the champ with a big boot then not once, nor twice but 3 times drives Naomi's shoulder into the corner ring post before herself signing the contract. The match is on but the champ had to be helped out of the ring by medical personal, will she be 100% when she defends her championship at Wrestlepalooza?

    match details:

This is the classic match up of power vs speed, strenght vs agility and The Uso vs Snuka sides of "The Family faction. At one point we cut backstage to where the rest of the faction is sat together watching the match and after a thunderous slap from Naomi to Tamina, Tamina's father Jimmy Snuka gets to his feet looking incensed as if he is about to take matters into his own hands and head to the ring but Jimmy (Naomi's Husband) blocks his path. Snuka looks like he is about to snap and murder Jimmy but Roman Reigns signals for them to let it go and Snuka abides by the big Dawgs ruling.

In ring this match and Tamina in particular surprise many and most point to one huge spot to illustrate this. It sees a Tamina big boot knock Namoi to the outside and then when the champ is lying prone trying to catch her breath Tamina shocks everyone by climbing to the top rope and successfully performing a superfly splash to the outside!

This actually gets a "Holy sh!t, Holy Sh!t" chant from the fans but despite Tamina hitting the move both women are hurt by it and it's actually the champion Naomi who somehow gets back to her feet first and rolls back into the ring. At this point that the ref begins a 10 count and it is clear just how much that move has taken out of the challenger as she really struggles to get back to her feet and only just about gets back into the ring just before being DQ. Unfortunately for her though, so desperate she is to get back into the ring that she walks straight into a Naomi superkick which she then follows up with a Split-legged moonsault for the 3 count and title retention.

    Winner:
    Naomi
    s-l300.jpg
Why book this ? - Simply put Naomi is the better wrestler of the two but the amount of backstory between the former Team BAD members, what with Tamina having managed the Usos before and both being extensions of the Islander "Family" stable as well as Tamina being Naomi's muscle when she won the title meant this match just made sense while also allowing the other (arguably better than Tamina) women on the roster. Thats why Naomi had to win but the way it went down Tamina still looks strong and gets a big moment that not many would usually associate with womens title matches. Naomi could now move forward to take on the likes of Manami Toyota or Aja Kong in future title bouts.
    Backstage Segment

Once again we return to the dressing where Roman Reign's "Family" are assembled for the reaction to what has just gone down and we see Jimmy Uso once again approach Jimmy Snuka but this time he extends his hand stating "No hard feeling Uce, both gals brought their A game out their" Jimmy's response was not as cordial however "At least your woman didn't embarrass herself by using her as$ as a weapon tonight. She ain't a real Islander like my high flying little girl but if you want to see what a real Islander looks like then watch this!" He then pushes his way past Jimmy smacking his shoulder into him as he exits the lockeroom on his way out for his match. Jimmy (Uso) looks seriously peeved and turns to Roman asking "Is he going to get away with talking to me like that Uce?" Roman's response is simple as he states that Snuka better hope he isn't the one who embarrasses himself tonight.
"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka vs El Santo
Backstory - The heelish vs The Hero

"The man with no fear" sounds like what you would call a superhero (Daredevil) but it is scarily the moniker given to the man who attacked Mexican Icon El Santo and his opponent at KOTR in order to gain a tactical advantage in the final. But the man whose name means The Saint in English was willing to be the bigger man and turn the other cheek if Jimmy Snuka would advise his daughter against her heelish antics (after she shockingly turned on and attacked Naomi) but superfly was not about to take parenting advice from a man he later described as a "no good spick" and hit him with a thunderous kick to the nether regions before almost mimicing his daughter by repeatidly driving his foe into the nearby ringpost before hitting him with a Superfly Splash in the center of the ring. Then as he stood with one foot placed on top of El Santos chest he adds the ultimate insult by literally spitting on the Lucha Legend. The BWA's latino audience were not the only ones who believed he may have gone too far this time however
    JPvkb3S.jpg

Unable to stop himself from sticking up for his fellow masked fan favorite none other than Batman found himself now embroiled in El Santo & Snuka's feud but no matter how they tried the two heros (and often Hackenscmidth) were too honorable while Snuka and his cohorts were willing to sink to a level that they wouldn't to get the upper hand. The most obvious example of this was when Snuka tried to rip El Santo's mask off his face and act of disrespect which directly lead to El Santo demanding this one on one match up. The following week Superfly somehow took things even further when he came through the ring as Batman was accepting Doink! and Banes challenge and attacked him from behind and then demasked the cape crusader revealing him to be none other than Bruce Wayne an act he said he would repeat at Wrestlepalooza with El Santo. Although Batman's identity reveal was later ret conned as a elaborate ruse to allow Batman to get the jump on Doink and Bane when they targetted Bruce his point had been made and The Man without Fear had proved himself a man worth fearing.

    Match details:

Snuka is clearly trying to make a point as this one begins and in particular his knife edge chops like seriously vicious but El Santo is able to give as good as he takes. For every dropkick or diving crossbody the man from Fiji hit his mexican counterpart had a response including a very impressive set of Plancha and suicide dives to the outside. The match however started to break down when the Latino Icon has Snuka locked in his La de a Caballo (Camel clutch) in the center of the ring as it is then that the first sign of outside interference rears it's head with the arrival of Bane!

The referee sees him coming and tries to block his patch but instead gets tossed from inside to outside the ring in a huge ref bump before Bane enters the ring and halts the submission by grabbing El Santo by the mask and nearly ripping it clear off him as he throws him off Snuka and into the corner.

The two men beat down on El Santo which Snuka on a number of occasions trying to rip his mask off his face before returning to the physical assault. Eventually they stop as Snuka signals to the top rope. Bane places one foot on the downed crowd favorite to hold him place while Superfly climbs to the tope rope but just as he gets there Batman comes (out through the crowd) charging into the ring and connections right on Banes chin with a sweet dropkick that knocks him clear outside the ring. He then follows him to the outside where the two continue to brawl until security seperate them (They can settle their beef later tonight)
    0ifhazky_2311151416191.jpg

Meanwhile back in the ring Snuka arguably takes too long to adjust himself after what just went down but then signals his intention to go for his Superfly Splash. However unlike his daughter in the previous match Jimmy Snuka does not connect with El Santo rolling out of the way at the last second. The result of this however is reminiscant pf what happened to Tamina with Snuka clearly having hurt himself with the impact and his opponent being the first to react and in this case react by himself scaling the ropes and going for his own top rope finishing maneuver, the Tope de Cristo (Diving headbutt) which he hits. The ref gets back into the ring just in time then to count to 3 and we have a winner!
    Winner:
    El Santo

After the bout El Santo Grabs the Mic and gives an impassioned speech about how good can overcome evil before making an announcement in his native tongue that the Spanish speaking audience seem to have fits of joy in response to. Later the announce team relay that he suggested he will run for office in the upcoming Mexican election. They wonder if this is serious but both think that if it is he just might win!

    482dc909cac29a179963d17e882db260--mexico.jpg
    **Post match Segment**
Snuka is still in the ring after the victorious El Santo has departed and angrily refuses medical assistance and assistance from BWA personnel t exit the ring when suddenly Roman Reigns & The Usos make their way out to the ring. One Uso brother either side of Snuka and The Big Dawg in front of him as he tries to drag himself to his feet. When he finally does BOOM! double Superkick from the brothers that sends him into the ring ropes and back straight into a Roman Reigns Spear! Moments later and Snuka is being assisted my medical personal but this time without resistance as he is now completely unconscious!

The Godfather & Val Venis vs Manami Toyota & Aja Kong
    Inter-gender tag team match
Backstory - 2017 Pimp and a pornstar rebranded

Val & The Godfather may have re-branded themselves (as entrepreneurs in the film and model agency) on the way to becoming the BWA tag team champions but people could see through that and did not think they had really changed. Some of the female lockeroom in particule Manami Toyota and Aja Kong (who had been pushing for female wrestling to be taken more seriously) had taken particular exception to their presence in the BWA and how degrading they were to women.
    x7LpjTj.gif

After they had actually started to target members of the female roster (in particular Naomi) and their involvement in the woman's title match at KOTR which lead to Toyota dropping her title the duo (Kong & Toyota) decided they could not take it anymore and challenged the now former tag champs (Godfather & Venis) to a match at Wrestlepalooza. In the following weeks Veins & The Godfather laugh off this challenge and continue to make fun of their challengers until Kong (who after her years in the BWA has good enough English to do so) makes a cutting promo on the two men insulting their manhood amongst other things and essentially goading them into accepting the challenge.

    match details:

A much more light hearted affair than what went before it with Val and The Godfather doing everything they can to infuriate their opponents who they clearly don't seem to be taking seriously from acting like they enjoyed an early slap to flexing in front of them and finally avoiding an attack and getting behind (in this case Manami Toyota) only to spank her as$ before rolling to the outside and laughing about it.

It was at this point however that things started to take a turn for the worst for the male competitors however as the entire female lockeroom (minus the 2 ladies who battled for the title) come out and essentially turn this into a lumberjill match after first shooing The godfathers "models" from ringside. Val Venis is ushered back into the ring while the godfather is caught up with his ladies on the outside. It is this that has the refs attention as Toyota grabs Venis by his B*llocks and gives him a, lets call it an innovated pumphandel suplex before tagging in Aja Kong.
    mqdefault.jpg

Kong then hits Val with her Brainbuster finisher for the 3 count and a very crowd pleasing moment for the women of the BWA
    Winners:
    Aja Kong & Manami Toyota

    GWvXiYE.jpg
Why book this? - It's 2018 and I have a pimp and a pornstar on my roster, it's almost hard not to book an angle like this. It's something light and different for the card and tbh there was no way the bad guys were going to win this one. If I had been able to write more TV shows they would have gotten the upper hand in the build up but they had to get their comeuppance her on the BWA's grandest stage
    Dusty Rhodes vs Nick Bocwinkel
The American Dream's career on the line
    Backstory:

To put it mildly since his arrival in the BWA Nick Bockwinkel has been a massive d!ck, always refering to himself as a Hall of Famer even though that honor was bestowed upon him in the BWA arch rival MNG productions. Then when he became the boards representative he clearly began to abuse his power. It was he who added the stip to Dusty's KOTR title match for example which meant that after his loss he could never have another BWA world title match not only that but the guy kept taking shots at Dusty calling him an overweight joke. There is only so far you can push a man like Dusty Rhodes however and after it was Rhodes who revealed to D'Lo Brown that Luca Brasi was the one controlling his contract, a fact that Bockwinkel had wanted to keep quiet, it was clear That the American Dream and the the BWA boards on air representative were on a collision course.

At this point Bockwinkel want's nothing to do with Dusty nor in ring action in general but it is again one of his "genius stips" that entice him to compete as he says he will only agree to the match up if Dusty is willing to put his career on the line!

    match details:

These two men put on a wrestling clinic but the fans are clearly on the side of The American Dream and Dream almost gets the job done early one after a serious of Bionic elbows put him on top. However when he goes for a pinfall he is shocked to see it broken up by D'lo Brown. The announcers recall how Bockwinkel gave him his match with Luca Brasi and how he was perhaps repaying that debt here tonight. I t was his distraction at ringside that turned the tide in Bockwinkel's favor and he began to wear down Dusty with submission after submission move. First a boston crab, then an indian deathlock before one of Dusty's own finishers the figure four leg lock but the dream refused to tap. The Crowd were chanting for Rhodes and this clearly got to Bockwinkel and all it took was one momentary lapse of concentration for Dusty to revers it into a figure four of his own. Too close to the ropes it was however and he was forced to break the hold but still this allowed him to roll outside and get back to his feet.

D'Lo attempted to attack him but seemingly Dusty was drawing energy from the crowd who were 100% behind him and for want of a better term started to "Hulk up". After hitting D'Lo with a few Bionic elbows he turned his attention back to the ring which he re-entered), meanwhile D'Lo was heard saying something about not needing this, controlling his own contract now and after he picked himself up off the mat being out of there as he headed to the back.

Bockwinkel was incensed and screamed at D'Lo to return but of course just this momentary lack of attention on his opponent was fatal for the former AWA champion as Dusty delivered Multiple punch and slap variations, a Flying clothesline and a Bionic Elbow on Bockwinkel before once again locking in his figure four leg lock but this time in the center of the ring. Bockwinkel holds out for the best part of a minute but just cannot break the hold no matter what he tries and eventually much to the crowds pleasure is forced to tap out.

    Winner: Dusty Rhodes
    the_dream_dusty_rhodes_by_mikemarsart-d9w8620.png
Why book this? - Let's be honest, The heel authority figure going around bigging up his accomplishments in another draft fed was never going over at my version of wrestlemania and who better to shut his mouth than the son of a Plumber beloved by all Dusty Rhodes

    Jesse Ventura vs Nigel McGuinness
Backstory: These two men never got along, not as announce partners and not now as in ring competitors. McGuinness has been calling Ventura out for as long as this commentator can remember saying that he could no longer last in the ring against the best of today and now he has a chance to prove it, to back up his words and to take on "The Body"
    400px-PredatorM134handheld-14.jpg

He may no longer be the man who carried that mini gun around the set of predator but has he got enough left in his tank to put McGuinness in his place? find out now!

    Match Details:

Ventura has wanted to get his hands on McGuinness for weeks and finally he gets his chance here and it really shows as he starts the fight a million miles an hour laying a serious beat down on him and it was clear as day that Nigel was rocked, so much so that he left himself open for Venturas finishing maneuver within minutes of the bout beginning and when "The Body" connected with his Body Breaker much of the crowd thought this one could be done already. McGuinness however had other plans and kicked out after 2.

Jesse kept up his early pace however and as the commentators wondered if he could keep it up at this rate they also noted how he was pulling tricks out of his bag they had not seem him use in years including his former AWA finishing move the reverse bulldog but again it was not enough to get the win as his opponent was left close enough to the side of the ring to grab the bottom rope and break the pin.

The story in build up had been about if Ventura still had to legs to last in the ring with the younger guys of today and perhaps trying to finish it early like this was his way of countering this as he continued at top speed calling for another of his patented Bodybreakers but when he lifted the heelish McGuinness up from the mat Nigel catches him with a low blow that takes all his momentum away. The face commentator is apoplectic that the ref misses this but the Brit isn't waiting around to see if he gets away with it and instead plants the hunched over Ventura's head into the mat with a DDT before locking in his London's Dungeon submission move (as seen below) and holding Ventura in it for an inordinate amount of time.

Eventually McGuinness releases the hold but after the low blow / submission combo all Ventura simply is not the same. He is moving much slower and Nigel has the clear advantage something which is highlighten the one time "The Body" does seem to get on top again when after a big clothesline Jesse goes to the top rope but he does so so slowly that Nigel not only gets up but is also able to catch him before he could execute any top rope move and instead McGuinness is able to deliver his Tower of London top rope hung cutter on him for the 3 count.

Ventura looks totally dejected as he watches his former announce colleague have his arm raised and takes an age to steady himself exit the ring and head to the back.
    Winner:
    Nigel McGuinness

    mYc6NbL.jpg
Why I booked this - Establishes McGuinness as a hated heal and starts an arc for Ventura which feeds into the story that lead to the match where he will question himself and his ability in the ring. However it also leaves open the possibility that the feud may not be done because Ventura had been on top until Nigel cheated resorting to a low blow to derail "The body"'s momentum
Adam "Batman" West & George Hackenschmidt vs Doink & Robert "Bane" Swenson
Backstory: From Bruce Wayne the BWA investor to Adam west the Mayor of Quahog were many of our road to Wrestlepalooza shows were based Adam West was a great character but it was his turn as Batman that had the fans tuning in especially when they founf out that apparently at least one of his greatest foes. A man he admired more than most however was George Hackenschmidt and when he was targetted by a mad clown Batman knew what had to be done. Unfortunately for our caped crusader the man who he later learned was not infact The Joker but Doink was not alone but came with none other than the man who broke Batman's back Bane in tow.
    M_for_Mushroom_01.jpg

Batman & Bane tried to settle things between themselves but this feud had grown beyond just the two of them and when an extreme rules match between them went off the rails and drew in doink and Hakenschmidt something had to be done
    latest?cb=20130520015815

The 4 mens rivalry had in fact spiralled across the whole show engulfing other feuds such as that of El Santo and Jimmy Snukas so eventually a date and a match had to be set for all 4 men. All the shenanigans were left behind them and the final battle between good and evil could take place in a BWA and what better a place than at Wrestlepalooza!

    Match Details:

Total comedy match which sees Hackenschmidt and surprisingly to some Doink doing most of the heavy lifting. Meanwhile it is Batman with both Bane and Doink who ends up in most of the matches big spots. including when he uses his bat grappling hook to hog tie Doink on the outside stopping him from interfering before he turns the tables on Bane delivering a backbreaker of his own to Bane. Immediately after this Hackenschmidt is tagged in and locks in his innovated bearhug. Bane's now injured back is highlighted by the announce team as the main reason why he eventually taps here much to the crowd enjoyment.
    Winner:
Adam "Batman" West & George Hackenschmidt
    2ffbcca38cae199d0a67ffb538066c89d5c7910f1db5f4bd25da4ddf667cd94c.jpg
Why I booked this - The above match was a little rushed as I didn't have as much time when writing this one but this is Batman vs an evil Clown and the man who broke his back before of course he had to win!
Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuahru Misawa vs The Usos
BWA Tag Team Titles Uso Penitentiary (Cage)Match
    Backstory:

Kobashi & Misawa are not only PW legends but draft legends and the only times I remember them wrestling outside of the BWA they either put on an all time classic (below from WECWF) or went on to become MNG productions world champion (Misawa)
    HWFHQGTm.jpg

However a lot of that success came as singles stars and now despite entering the BWA Hall of Fame together they may have met their match in the form of a tag team but not just any tag team, The Tag Team Champions The Usos. As part of Roman Reigns' "Family" they have been a constant thorn in the side of their japanese counterparts especially seeing as they seemingly had the representative of the BWA board Nick Bockwinkel in their pocket which is why this match tonight is an "Uso penitentiary" (Cage) match!
    8cjdKxa.jpg

Match Details: Before the match began there was a special presentation where Kobashi & Misawa were honored as the first ever BWA Hall of famers and presented their Hall of Fame rings right as they began their acceptance speech they were interrupted by the unmistakable sound of The Usos making their arrival on the scene and the two brothers welcomed the now Hall of Famers to the Uso penitentiary which signaled the steel cage being lowered from above their Japanese opponents who were already in the ring.

The announcers picked up on a theme that repeated throughout this match quite a bit with Kobashi & Misawa often being on top but the Usos who are more experienced in cage matches always being the ones to use their surroundings to their advantage and the steel cage as a weapon to get on top. They were vicious in doing so repeatedly not only driving their opponents into the steel mesh but also performing double team moves that resulted in the HOFers heads being driven into it, such as 2 different times when we saw double superkicks with this end result.

Kobashi & Misawa are by no means shown up by their younger advisories however. Misawa hit both a Tiger Driver and his innovated Emerald Flowsion (sitout side powerslam) on Jimmy Uso for example but just like when Kenta Kobashi hit his Burning Hammer (Inverted Death Valley driver) on Jey Uso their pinfall attempt is broken up by the downed mans brother. Despite being able to get themselves in the position to deliver such devastating blows it is clear they are struggling to put away their opponents given the stipulation means both tag team members are always in ring at the same time. Eventually they decide that their best bet may be to escape the cage by scaling the wall on the side but they are not as fast as their opponents and by the time they have almost reached the top of the cage the usos are up and onto them by tossing them straight back into the ring with devastating belly to back suplexes delivered while standing on the top turnbuckles.

Instead of going for the pin however Jimmy and Jey are then the ones to scale the side of the cage except they do so at a much quicker pace than Kobashi/misawa had and are at the top while their rivals are still downed. They are about to go down the other side when they exchange a glance to each other and suddenly both they and the crowd know what has to happen next. They then channel their father at fully loaded 2000 and we get a Double Uce diving splash off the tope rope which is followed by a double pinfall attempt....1.....2............3!

despite the battle they just had the brothers stand up under their own weight and have their hands raised in victory while Kobashi & Misawa need to be helped to the back nursing injuries.
    Winner:
    Jimmy & Jey Uso

    foto_0000004420160415201247-400x200.png
Why I booked this - This match, performance and that final moment with the double splash which would see them overcome their far more illustrious opponents would make The Usos massive stars. This would be their moment while Kobashi/Misawa already got to enter the Hall of Fame and it also leads into the main event nicely where Roman the champ would seemingly have the advantage as after the match Okada's boys left ringside with the assistance of medical personal while Reign's family stood tall.
    Roman Reigns vs Kazuchika Okada
    BWA World Heavyweight Championship match
    Backstory:

The Chosen one of the WWE is now in the BWA and seemingly has the boards backing there too except in the BWA he has fully embraced his heel side which is good cos there is no way the fans would cheer how he has been acting in the BWA including as he put it how he "Killed The American Dream" referring to his vicious dismantling of Dusty Rhodes.

The Big Dawg did not take kindly to the arrival of Kazuchika Okada to the BWA. The man who had held the IWGP world title in New Japan longer than anyone else had voluntarily relinquished his belt so as to come to the BWA and prove that he was not only the best in his home nation but the best in the entire world.

Reign's, The Usos and management put obstacle after obstacle infront of him and he even had to win the King of The Ring tournament just to get his shot at the title but he never stooped to their level of sneak attacks and backroom politics. We have seen a lot of good vs Evil here tonight but can Okada really dethrone the Big Dag?
    sTKhgkf.jpg

    Match Details:

*Usos stay at ringside after their match and introduce The Big Dawg! Heel commentator complains that the champ is coming out first!

*They are a constant distraction at ringside including when Jey grabs Okadas leg distracting him and setting him up for a Spear! which leads to a 2 count.

*It is Jimmy who slides Roman brass knucks when the ref isn't looking and then again retrieves them after Roman slides the evidence out of the ring post superman punch. Unfortunately for Reigns however the move knocks Okada through the ropes and to the outside where pinfall is impossible
    giphy.gif

*The Usos try to throw Okada back into Reigns but at this point the injured Misawa/Kobashi come charging down to ringside to even things up

*The representative of the board Nick Bockwinkel charges down to ringside while all 6 men brawl on the outside and screams at the ref to ban Kobashi/Misawa from ringside. At this point the Ref has gotten Reigns back into the ring (Okada is layed out on the outside) but when the ring announcer announces the refs decision Bockwinkel is incensed to hear that both the Usos and Okadas buddies are being sent to the back.

*Bockwinkel then circumvents the refs authority and once again via the ring announcer informs the world that this is now a no disqualification match. As this is announced Reigns begins to remove the turnbuckle covers insider the ring then turns and looks towards the outside where Bockwinkel is now picking up Okada at ringside and goes to throw him back into the ring where Roman awaits but no! Okada reverses his Irish whip and sends the authorithy figure crashing into the ring apron making him wince in pain but not as much as he would feel moments later as Okada hit him with a Rainmaker Lariat!
    tumblr_n25g7bRl091qhjbxeo1_400.gif?w=840&ssl=1

    * Okada got back in the ring and despite being somewhat worse for wear seems to be reveling in the fact that it was finally 1 on 1, Reigns vs Okada and the fans react to that simple fact

*The two begin to brawl, exchanging big rights and lefts until both me are barely able to stay upright, the final blow landing from Okada making Reigns stumble back a few feet but in fact only far enough to allow him to spring into action, charge at his opponent and leap into the air to go for a huge Superman Punch and BOOM! Okada is sent crashing into the corner... surely he can't take much more

    * With Okada down in the corner The Big Dawg lets out his signature war cry and charges at him to finish proceedings with a huge Spear but no! Okada rolls out of the way and Reigns goes head first into the exposed steel or the turnbuckle. Okada then immediately grabs him and throws him head first into the exposed turnbuckle on the other side of the ring.

    * After two big blows to the head Reigns is busted open and for the first time in the match it genuinely looks like Okada could complete his comeback and he sure does not let up hitting a huge Lariat before going for a pinfall...1...2...kickout! The groan throughout the crowd is audable but Okada does not give up

*He grabs Reigns up off the floor and tosses him head first into the final two exposed turnbuckles he had missed out on before before a now covered in blood Reigns stumbles into the center of the ring and BOOM! another Rainmaker Lariat and once again going for a pin 1....2............3!
    Winner:
    Kazuchika Okada

    okada-1496930198-800.jpg
Why I booked this - The culmination to hat the WWE have started by pushing Reigns down everyones throats. Turn him heel and book long term to the bigget show your company has at which point you put over the biggest face you have and Okada quite literally might just be the best wrestler in the world too as an added bonus

    MWA Tag Team Championship Match
    Cho-Ten vs reDRagon (c)
An extremely hard-hitting match-up results in chaos when Chono & Tenzan start fighting each other in the middle of the ring. reDRagon take advantage but are unable to seal the victory. As the match moves on Chono & Tenzan look to have put their differences aside, that is until Adam Cole comes down to ringside & gets into an altercation with Tenzan whom chases Cole up the ramp & through to backstage leaving his partner alone. Fish & O’Reilly finish Chono off with Total Elimination and retain the Tag titles.

    Winner:
    reDRagon

    No Holds Barred Match
Dr Death Steve Williams vs Ron Simmons
This match lives up to its pre-match billing as an all-out brawl. Though it only lasts 7 minutes it arguably changes both men’s quality of life for the rest of their days. As soon as the bell rings both men charge forward, Simmons powering Williams to the corner where he starts punching. Dr Death counters with a knee to the stomach and shoulder tackles Simmons all the way into the opposite turnbuckle. Fists are swinging wildly until Williams ducks a clothesline and hits a German Suplex.

Catching his breath, Steve Williams goes to the outside and retrieves a chair from under the ring, but he doesn’t get a chance to use it as Simmons kicks through the middle rope and cracks it off Steve’s head. The fight continues at ringside when Simmons hits the chair into Williams’ huge shoulder and knocks him into the crowd. They brawl their way up the steps when a boot from Williams sends Simmons tumbling down. Steve goes after him; the fall has cut Ron Simmon’s arms and a few punches from Williams opens a gash on his forehead.

He gets thrown back over the barrier but when Dr Death tries to lift him up Simmons throws him head first into the ring post. Williams face is a bloody mess as his nose is certainly broken. Simmons lifts him up for a Dominator but somehow Williams powers out of it and hits a Doctor Bomb onto the chair. He covers Simmons for the win.

    Winner:
    Dr Death Steve Williams

    Mayu Iwatani vs Io Shirai
The crowd are eased into this one as both women match each other in early technical exchanges until Iwatani takes the upper hand with a hip toss & a vicious kick to the back of Shirai, quickly followed with a kick to the kidneys. Iwatani stays on top until Shirai connects with an elbow, then backsprings off the ropes into a running dropkick. Iwatani falls to the outside but cannot escape as Shirai suicide dives pushing her into the barrier. Before Shirai can take control, she is forced back into the side of the ring and both women are down on the outside as the referee starts her count. They both get back in at the same time to break the count but Shirai pounces first as she clubs forearms into the lower spine of Iwatani. Shirai starts to work the leg and it works for the most part, slowing Mayu down but she cannot get her to submit.

The match reaches its pinnacle when Shirai goes up top only to be arm dragged down. Iwatani then climbs up and connects with an Ultrarana as Shirai gets back to her feet. She almost wins but Io kicks out at 2 & a ½. Iwatani picks drags Shirai back to the corner & lifts her up the turnbuckle, facing the crowd. Iwatani climbs up and hooks her arms for a Tigerplex but Io counters it.
    nro8wY.gif

Shirai quickly hits a German Suplex, rolls through and lifts her for another before twisting and lifting Iwatani for a third German. Somehow Iwatani kicks out, Shirai climbs back up top for a moonsault, Iwatani rolls, Shirai lands on her feet but stumbles and is caught with a kick to the head. Iwatani hits her bridging Tigerplex but this time Io kicks out. Frustration hits, Iwatani lifts her for a piledriver, Io counters into her own piledriver which hits. Using the last ounces of adrenalism she has left Shirai springs off the bottom rope to the turnbuckle and hits a Moonsault, then does it once more for good measure. She hooks the leg and gets the 3 count.

    Winner:
    Io Shirai

Chono confronts Keiji Mutoh backstage and says he made a mistake coming here with him. Not only does Tenzan not have his back but neither does The Great Muta. With this he spits at Mutoh’s feet and leaves.

Cameras cut to The Undisputed Era where Fish & O’Reilly are celebrating with a bruised Adam Cole. “Tenzan might have got a few digs in on me but it was worth it to break that flimsy alliance.” “And now that we’ve retained our tag titles it’ll soon be time for you to go out there and take back what’s rightfully yours.” “We are the Undisputed future and pro wrestling and tonight we make it the present.” “Or my name isn’t Adam Cole BAYBAY!”

    Loser Leaves Town Hardcore Match
Raven vs Tommy Dreamer w/ Special Guest Referee The Sandman
It didn’t look like this match would go ahead as no referee was willing to take it when just days before WrestleRama a very drunk Sandman announced on his Twitter account that he would “fibaly step up a NWO ring abd REFEREE my 222 most ahted frends *beer emoji beer emoji*”. MWA GM The Mountie clarified later that he had signed The Sandman to an official contract in order to “finally step into an MWA ring and referee the match between his two most hated friends. The stipulation being that The Sandman is not allowed to drink any alcohol at least 48 hours before the match or he will have his contract terminated.”

Suprisingly The Sandman abides by these rules because he entered the ring wearing sunglasses, clutching his head and moving very slowly. Raven attacks Dreamer on the ramp to start the match and both men straight out assault each other with whatever they can get their hands on. Chairs, kendo sticks, thumb tacks & trash cans are all used within the first 5 minutes, the next 5 introduce tables, the ring bell & The Sandman’s sunglasses.

With the match nearing its end, Raven sets up a table at ringside but Dreamer jumps off the apron taking them both down. Sandman is crouched at the barrier when he spots a fan in the front row with a beer. Sandman grabs the beer as the crowd cheer him until The Mountie comes running down with a microphone. “If you drink that you’re fired Sandman, it isn’t worth it.” Sandman looks from Mountie to the beer before downing it in one. The Mountie is horrified and shouts “YOU’RE FIRED SANDMAN! Get the hell out of my arena.” The Sandman picks up a nearby kendo stick and starts hitting The Mountie with it. He then takes a brown paper bag from under the ring, it’s got a full litre bottle of whiskey in it. Sandman takes a swig from the bottle before pouring it all over the table. He lights the table on fire, lifts up The Mountie and throws him from the ring apron through the flaming table. Staff rush over with fire extinguishers and put the flames out but The Mountie is out cold. The match ends when Raven hits a Raven Effect DDT onto a chair and The Sandman counts the pinfall.

    Winner:
    Raven

    MWA Intercontinental Championship Match
Kalisto vs Adam Cole vs Keiji Mutoh vs Bobby Roode (c)
An entertaining spot filled match reaches its pinnacle when Mutoh sprays Green Mist in Adam Cole’s eyes, dodges a missile drop kick from Kalisto which hits Cole & knocks him to the outside. Mutoh lifts Kalisto up for a Suplex but is hit by a boot from Roode. Roode then hits Kalisto with a Glorious DDT but before he can pin him Mutoh hits Roode with a Shining Wizard and is put into a Muta Lock. In the middle of the ring with all other competitors down Bobby Roode has no choice but to tap out.

    Winner:
    Keiji Mutoh
    3KA.jpg

    MWA Women's Championship Match
    Mickie James vs AJ Lee
The great battle of crazy leads to back and forth action by two closely matched competitors. AJ tries to gain the advantage by using her speed to get around the ring quicker i.e. AJ keeps striking and running away. This leads to her gaining the advantage when Mickie gives chase & AJ gets back into the ring first and starts punching & slapping Mickie upon re-entry. AJ tries wearing down Mickie with various holds and a particularly painful looking armbar to which Mickie refuses to tap out and gets the upperhand by powering up onto her feet & slamming AJ to the mat. Mickie quickens the pace with some clotheslines, drop kicks & a snap suplex but AJ kicks out. Taking control Mickie starts to enjoy dishing out pain, she intentionally breaks a few submissions to transition into something else and looks to have no intention of ending this match quickly.

This pace changes when AJ counters out of a side slam into her Black Widow submission, however Mickie manages to escape the hold before AJ can successfully lock the arm. The fright is enough to kick Mickie into overdrive and she starts connecting harder with her shots. The match reaches its pinnacle when Mickie hits AJ with a Superplex but an awkward landing injures her own shoulder. She eventually covers AJ who kicks out; the injured Mickie clutches her shoulder as she prepares for a Mick Kick but AJ telegraphs it, ducks under and spins into a Black Widow. With it successfully locked in and pressure applied to the injured shoulder Mickie James has no choice but to tap out.

    Winner:
    AJ Lee
    3KE.jpg

Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant
The ultimate rivals face off once more to finally settle the score and predictably a technical masterclass ensues. The main question going into this was if Hogan was as strong as he was before or if age was finally catching up on Hulkamania. For much of the match it seemed to be the latter as Hogan failed multiple times to lift the giant. Andre manhandles Hogan, tossing him across the ring as if he were a cruiserweight, slamming him with force that would break a regular man. But regular man Hulk Hogan ain't as time & time again Hogan would kick out and get back up for more punishment.

The climax of the match comes when Andre drops Hogan on an exposed turnbuckle, cutting his head. Instead finishing of Hogan off Hulkamania kicks in and with his cheering fans spurring him on Hogan 'Hulks up'. The world's largest punches don't faze Hogan at all and he points at Andre, follows up with 3 punches of his own which has the giant dazed. Hogan bounces off the rope and big boots Andre who falls to the mat. Hogan has his opening and hits an Atomic Leg Drop. He covers, 1....2.. Andre kicks out and Hogan can't believe it. Andre gets to his feet, Hogan punches but Andre starts Hulking up, Hogan doesn't know what to do so he low blows Andre. Andre stumbles against the rope and bounces back towards Hogan who kicks him again. As Andre bounces towards him once more Hogan attempts to lift Andre up for a Body Slam.... but he can't do it. Hogan's back hives out and he drops to one knee. Andre falls back to the corner as Hogan grabs the referee yelling in pain.

Suddenly three men run to the ring; The Undisputed Era. Hogan is distracting the referee as they attack Andre. Hogan jumps to his feet, knocking down the referee as he does so. Hogan watches as The Undisputed Era attack Andre, Andre spreads his arms pushing all three away with force but Cole, Fish & O'Reilly get right back on him. Andre drops to his knees, Fish & O'Reilly both hit him with their Championship belts. Hogan big boots Andre's face and finally puts him on his back. Undisputed Era leave the ring as Hogan cups his ears to the torrent of boos coming his way. He bounces off the rope for an Atomic Leg Drop, then picks up the referee before hitting another Atomic Leg Drop and pinning the giant.

    Winner:
    Hulk Hogan

    MWA World Championship Ladder Match
Eddie Guerrero vs Dolph Ziggler (c)
This one starts at a frantic pace as Guerrero arm drags & drop kicks Ziggler through the middle rope then hits a springboard cross body on the outside. A Viva la Rasa chest shake gets the crowd on their feet. Eddie sets up the ladder on the outside but Dolph grabs his tights and pulls him head first into the barricade. Dolph throws the ladder on top of Eddie then starts jumping on it while using the barricade to hold himself steady. Ziggler puts the ladder in the ring to try and win this quickly but Eddie is on him, drags him back out and hits a Belly to Belly to the floor. After catching his breath Eddie gets in the ring and starts to climb but Ziggler is back and pushes the ladder over.

The two fight in the ring, big moves featured include a Ziggler suplex onto the ladder, a low blow by Eddie that gets cheered, a Super Kick by Dolph & a back Superplex by Eddie. The fight goes to the outside where Dolph starts to take apart the announce table, grabs his belt and tries to hit Eddie with it. But Guerrero rolls under the hit & Hurricanranas Ziggler off the announce table. With Dolph in a lot of pain Eddie places him on the table and climbs the ladder next to it. One Frog Splash later and both men are down but Ziggler looks out.

It takes almost 2 minutes but Eddie gets the ladder up in the ring and slowly ascends it. Just as he's nearing the top Dolph jumps off the turnbuckles, grabs Ziggler as he flies & brings him crashing down with a Zig Zag.

The match reaches its climax with both men duking it out on top of the ladder. Ziggler gets the upperhand when he blocks a punch and slams Eddie's head on the ladder, he does this two more times and has Eddie teetering. Suddenly Guerrero grabs Dolph's arm, slams it down and drags him over the ladder. With Ziggler's stomach against the top of the ladder, his legs dangling, Guerrero stamps one foot on Dolph's hand pinning it to a ladder step. He presses down on Dolph's back with his other knee, reaches for the title, grabs on and pushes his knee knocking the ladder down sending Ziggler crashing with it. Suspended in the air, Eddie falls back to the mat clutching the belt for the win.

    Winner:
    Eddie Guerrero

    Joey Styles is at ringside:

“Welcome to the sold out 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
We are live on RTE Television in Ireland, and live around the world on the WWE Network.
This is the biggest event in the history of professional wrestling in Ireland.

We have a breaking story tonight, as WWE Executive Stephanie McMahon is expected to arrive shortly.
She was not originally scheduled to be here tonight, but that plan changed in the wake of the following TMZ story earlier this week:"
TMZ: WWE LEADERSHIP PLANS IN DOUBT

TMZ understands that WWE Owner Vince McMahon is re-considering his succession plan.

TMZ has obtained an internal WWE email sent by Vince McMahon in which he questions the suitability of his daughter Stephanie to run WWE in the future.

In this email Vince questions Stephanie's decision-making and criticises how she has handled the current cross-promotional deal with the GWA.

Mr. McMahon is extremely concerned that key plans for WWE WrestleMania have been put in serious jeopardy by Stephanie. The WWE Championship of Steve Austin, and the undefeated streak of Asuka are both on the line at GWA March Madness. Vince has grave concerns over Stephanie's judgement, after she allowed this situation to develop.

In addition, Mr. McMahon is unhappy that his daughter has been dragged into a public spat with independent wrestling sensations The Young Bucks.

If results go the wrong way at March Madness, Stephanie McMahon could find her inheritance disappear.

Joey Styles:"Will Stephanie McMahon have a reaction to her father's comments when she arrives here tonight?
We will find out later. But now, it's time for our first in-ring action of the evening."

    Match #1:
IWGP Intercontinental Champion Tomohiro Ishii vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Elias

Elias has his guitar and an open mic as he makes his way to the ring

    DR7zhIFU8AUNVm5.jpg

"Dublin, are you ready to Walk With Elias?
Of course you are. To be honest, I would Walk With Anyone, as long as it meant I got the hell out of this dump of a town."

A chorus of boos reign down on Elias

"Now, i know Ireland has an array of famous musicians, but tonight you people will bear witness to a performance for the ages.
So, please, silence your phones, hold your applause, and shut your mouths"

The crowd erupts as Tomohiro Ishii's music hits.
Elias is outraged that his musical performance has been interrupted.

‘Stone Pitbull’ hits the ring and as soon as the bell rings he immediately throws a headbutt at Elias.

    giphy.gif

The crowd roar their approval, and the hard-hitting offense from Ishii just does not let up.
He levels Elias with a barrage of suplexes, stiff lariats and a powerbomb.
Ishii hits the Ishii Driller, and covers a lifeless Elias as the referee counts the pinfall.
    Mercifully, this is over.

    Winner: Tomohiro Ishii

    Why I booked this finish:
Ishii would be returning to the GWA for future dates so putting him over so strong establishes him as a force ahead of future appearances.
Seeing their star featured so strongly will also encourage NJPW to send other talents in future.

Elias is the unfortunate victim, but this loss won't hurt him much back in the WWE, and his pre-match shtick made a lasting impression on the audience.
The hard-hitting action and positive result got the audience pumped up straight away.

A long black limousine pulls into the backstage area.

    CZnSFzVWAAE9JZ4.jpg

WWE Executive Stephanie McMahon emerges from the limo and orders a backstage staffer to take her directly to Teddy Long's office.

    Match #2:
    Steel Cage Match
    Candice LeRae vs. Sasha Banks

This match can end via pinfall or submission only.
Sasha Banks is first out, looking every inch the WWE superstar.

    sasha_banks-5.jpg

Joey Styles: "I've seen some tough women in my time, but Candice LeRae is right at the top of the list.
I hope Sasha Banks is prepared for a war inside that cage, because tonight, in her final GWA appearance Candice LeRae will bring everything she's got"

This is an absolute war, with both ladies giving everything they've got.
High risk moves are mixed with hard-hitting action, and Sasha is in brilliant heel form as she works the audience wonderfully.

As we enter the final stages, it looks like Candice is in control.
Candice backs Sasha into the corner, and unloads with a devastating knife-edged chop.
Candice recoils in agony holding her arm, as a smirking Sasha reaches into her top and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles.
'The Boss' then lays out Candice with a brass knuckles punch to the face.

Sasha positions Candice across the middle rops in the corner in preparation for the double knee stomp.
Candice rolls towards the ring post and out of harms way, as Sasha lands full force knee-first on the mat.
Sasha tries to recover, but is caught with a super swinging neckbreaker from the middle rope.
Candice follows up a with a majestic moonsault from the top of the cage, and makes the cover for the three count, and victory.

    Winner: Candice LeRae

Post-match Candice soaks in the adulation from the crowd, and looks emotional as her independent career is coming to an end.

    0a218d69eea462b18509bc93618f9b04-e1517020172319.jpg

    Why I booked this finish:
The win for Candice was the right note to end her GWA/independent career.
The win also establishes her as an upper-tier talent immediately upon her arrival in WWE.
The loss doesn't harm Sasha too much, as the outstanding quality of the match is the main talking point afterwards.

Backstage, Stephanie McMahon has made her way to Teddy Long’s office.

    YPdFq.jpg

Teddy Long: “Miss McMahon, what brings you to Ireland?”

Stephanie: “Cut the crap Teddy, everyone has seen the reports, my future hangs in the balance tonight.
And already my Intercontinental Champion Elias has been decimated.
This is not what we agreed Teddy.
I need Asuka to retain her streak, I need The Young Bucks to lose, and I need Stone Cold to retain his title.
Teddy, if you don’t deliver those results, you will spend the rest of your days flippin’ burgers”

Teddy Long: “Stephanie, playa, I got everything under control.
Now, I’ve arranged a corporate box for you to enjoy the rest of the action.
Don’t fear playa, I’ve got it covered. Holla”

We are back at ringside with Joey Styles, and his co-commentator Al Snow, who is pulling double-duty tonight

Joey Styles: "Well Al, you're match is up nex......
    What the hell?"

Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali have come through the crowd.
They attack Al Snow as he sits at the announcers table, taking a steel chair to his knee.
Marty Jannetty comes out from the back to rescue his teammate.
This match hasn't even started but Alexander and Ali have gained a significant advantage.

    Match #3:
    Tag Team Match
Al Snow & Marty Jannetty vs. Cedric Alexander & Mustafa Ali

This is basically a handicap match, as Al Snow can barely stand on the apron as he winces in pain.
Alexander and Ali do a great job of cutting the ring in half and meticulously working over Jannetty's back.
A wrecked Jannetty is eventually able to make the hot tag.

Al Snow is still hobbling, but manages to unload a flurry of fists on Mustafa Ali.
Ali manages to recover with some kicks to the injured knee of Snow.
Ali distracts the referee and Alexander hits Snow with another chair shot to the knee.
Ali hits a shooting star press and makes the cover.
    1 - 2 - 3

Winners: Cedric Alexander & Mustafa Ali

    073_RAW_02052018ej_0804--b1a36580f178b35841dfa251e4884e05.jpg

    Why I booked this finish:
The younger Alexander and Ali needed the win here.
They showed a vicious streak in the match which will serve them well in the future.
Ali and Alexander would stay on in GWA for another six months, before returning to WWE as more rounded competitors.

The pre-match attack gives Snow and Jannetty a legitimate gripe, and allows for a re-match.
Al Snow would tag with Jannetty for a few matches, before returning to his role as a trainer in WWE.
Marty Jannetty would remain in GWA, where he would enjoy one final run, before announcing his retirement at the end of the summer.

We see a shot of Stephanie McMahon, who has taken her position in the corporate box provided by Teddy Long.

    Match #4:
Dublin City Streetfight for the GWA Championship Match
GWA Champion Chris Hero vs. Sabu w/ Bill Alfonso

From the outset it is evident that this is a very different Sabu to the one that lost his four previous encounters with Chris Hero.
Sabu has re-discovered his love of all thing hardcore.
This is a wild brawl throughout the arena, with Chris Hero dominating for the most part, and Sabu hitting the odd spectacular move.

As the action returns to the ring, Hero hits a vicious discus elbow smash for a tantalising near-fall.
Sabu capitalises on a show of frustration from Hero and is able to apply the Arabian Clutch.
Hero eventually manages to escape via a rope-break, but the damage has been done.
Sabu goes to the top rope. Bill Alfonso hands him a steel chair and Sabu hits the Arabian Facebuster.
The referee makes the 3 count.

Winner: AND NEW GWA Champion..... SABU

    sabu.jpg

    Why I booked this finish:
Having played up Sabu's losing streak against Hero, and re-establishing his relationship with Bill Alfonso, Sabu HAD to win this one.
As the WWE talent leaves town, Sabu would defend in a re-match against Hero, then embark on a reign defending against the unproven youngsters elsewhere on the GWA roster.
When he eventually loses the title, the ending of his lengthy reign will provide his conqueror with a huge feather in their cap.

Chris Hero will have been re-energised by a close-up glimpse of WWE life, and would turn babyface with the GWA faithful behind him in his goal of reaching the WWE once again.
Along the way he would produce many more classic encounters in GWA.

Joey Styles: "Next up, we've got a huge tag team encounter.
Can The Young Bucks get revenge on Marty Scurll for his villainous betrayal, or will the WWE representatives Race and Scurll successfully defend the honour of Stephanie McMahon?

    Match #5:
    Tag Team Match
The Young Bucks vs. Harley Race & Marty Scurll

    Marty-Scurll-2.jpg

The boos ring out for Marty Scurll as he makes his way towards the ring.
'The Villain' just laughs at the fans and makes a money gesture with his hand.
The newest member of the WWE roster is applauded by Stephanie McMahon from her corporate box.
Harley Race joins his partner in the ring as they await their opponents.

The Young Bucks surprise everyone by coming through the crowd.
They catch Race unawares and are able to dispatch him to the outside before turning their attention to a cowering Scurll.
The independent superstars unload on their former stablemate, until Race is able to drag his partner to the outside.

The heels dominate the match, mostly working over Nick Jackson, as the camera frequently cuts to a delighted Stephanie McMahon.
As the match progresses we see Race and Scurll become increasingly frustrated as they can't put Nick away.
He has absorbed a world of punishment, but he just won't lie down.
A miscommunication between Race and Scurll gives Nick an opening and he makes the hot-tag to brother Matt.

As the action breaks down, Harley Race is knocked to the outside, and The Young Bucks hit a double superkick on Scurll, and Matt Jackson makes the cover for the 1-2-3.

    Young-Bucks.jpg

    Winners: The Young Bucks

The fans roar their approval as Nick and Matt make the "S*CK IT" gesture towards Stephanie McMahon in the corporate box.
Stephanie looks absolutely livid. This night is not going as she hoped.

    Why I booked this finish:
In the weeks after the match, it would become apparent that The Young Bucks had signed a WWE contract.
This high-profile feud and victory would establish them as important players in the eyes of WWE fans.
Stephanie McMahon would blame Harley Race for this loss, and on her orders Marty Scurll would attack Harley Race.
A feud with a babyface Race would establish Scurll as an upper mid-card heel in WWE.

Before our next bout, the camera pans around the arena.
It is a sea of green, and as the graphic for our next match appears on the screen, a chant of "Olé, Olé, Olé" breaks out.

    Match #6:
    Submission Match
    Asuka vs. Becky Lynch

Asuka enters the arena to a respectful applause.
A "BECKY, BECKY, BECKY" chant breaks out as the audience eagerly awaits their hero.

Joey Styles: "The atmosphere here in the 3 Arena is off the charts.
The closest comparison I can make is to ECW One Night Stand.
This electric crowd firmly believes that the young Irish rookie can produce the most unlikely of victories."

    181300_54_news_hub_157449_656x500.jpg

The match gets underway, and a nervous Becky is outclassed in the early going.
Asuka toys with her opponent, and is one step ahead at every juncture.
This leads to Asuka becoming too cocky and eventually Becky finds an opening and is able to get in some offense.
The crowd are now fully behind Becky, and Asuka's undefeated streak is in real danger.

Becky hits the Bexploder and then manages to lock in the Dis-Arm-Her as the crowd roars their approval, but a wily Asuka is able to reach the ropes.
As Asuka regroups on the outside, Becky goes to the top rope and attempts a missile drop-kick.
Asuka moves out of the way, and Becky goes through the announce table.

Asuka is now in full control, and unloads her full range of kicks on Becky.
Asuka locks in the Asuka Lock. The pain on Becky's face is obvious, but she refuses to tap out.
The crowd roar their support, but eventually the pain is too much.
Becky Lynch passes out, and the referee calls for the bell

    Winner: Asuka

Asuka collapses to the mat beside Becky in exhaustion.
As the crowd catch their breath following that emotional rollercoaster, both ladies slowly climb to their feet.
Asuka raises Becky's hand in a show of repect, as the crowd again chants "BECKY, BECKY, BECKY"
A tearful Becky applauds her fans, as Asuka departs the ring, leaving the local hero soak in this moment.

    CmXhkDFUsAAHe4y.jpg

Joey Styles: "Even in defeat, the bond between Becky Lynch and her audience has grown. The crowd appreciates the effort and heart of their hero"

    Why I booked this finish:
Even in defeat Becky Lynch gains a huge amount. She has shown that she is on the same level as Asuka, and by not submitting she establishes a reputation as a never-say-die competitor.
Becky would remain in GWA for another 6-9 months, overcoming all challengers there before eventually joining WWE, with a ready-made reputation as a top-level female.

Asuka keeps her streak, losing it here would have been short-sighted and unnecessary.
These two would have a rematch down the line in WWE, where a more experienced Becky would fancy her chances.
Together with Sasha and Candice, the four women featured tonight would form the core of a stellar WWE Women’s division for years into the future.

Up in the corporate box, it seems that Stephanie McMahon's mood has improved following that victory for Asuka, preserving the Japanese star's streak.
Stephanie's good mood does not last however, as she spots that the bartender in her corporate box is wearing Young Bucks merchandise.
Stephanie empties the contents of her glass over his head as she screams for him to be removed

    Main Event:
    WWE Championship Match
WWE Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Triple C (Claudio 'Cesaro' Castagnoli)

The challenger is in the ring, as Stone Cold makes his way out.

Joey Styles: "Steve Austin looks as focused as I've ever seem him. He was viciously assaulted by GWA superstar Cesaro just two weeks ago, and tonight is his opportunity for revenge"

    L9XCQYO1-600x400.jpg

Austin attacks Cesaro from the outset, and pummels his opponent with a flurry of stomps in the corner.
Cesaro would recover and take every shortcut in the book as he dominated the middle portion of the match, but
Stone Cold would eventually regain the upper hand, and hit the Lou Thesz press as he looked to be on course for victory.

However, a referee bump would lead to Teddy Long running out and getting in the ring to act as referee.
Stone Cold hits a stunner on Cesaro, Long counts, 1, 2....

Teddy Long stands up, gives the double middle finger salute to Austin, then turns to Stephanie McMahon in the Director's box and gives her a double middle finger salute also.
Stone Cold spins Teddy Long around looking for an answer, but Long sprays pepper spray to Austin's eyes and kicks him in the nuts.

    Joey Styles: "OH MY GOD!"

Cesaro gets to his feet and hits a disorientated Austin with an uppercut followed by the Neutralizer.
Teddy Long counts the fall, 1-2-3

Winner: AND NEW WWE Champion: Triple C

    antoniocesaroretains2_original-1406563206.jpg

Stephanie McMahon looks distraught in her corporate box as Cesaro and Teddy Long embrace in the middle of the ring.
As Austin gets back to his feet Ceasro uses the WWE title belt to lay him out again.
A stunned audience look on as we go off the air to an image of Ceasro holding the WWE title aloft, as Teddy Long applauds in the background.

    Why I booked this finish:
Teddy Long gets revenge on WWE for what he sees as years of being treated like a joke.
He also resents how WWE invested in his promotion seemingly as a goodwill gesture, only then to steal all the talent.

In the storyline, Ceasro and Teddy Long would hold the WWE title to ransom, until their demands (money) were met.
In reality, Ceasro had inked a WWE contract prior to March Madness.
This victory shoots him straight into a top-drawer feud to kick off his run.
Stone Cold needed an opponent for WrestleMania, now he has one.

After been embarrassed by The Young Bucks, and blamed by her father for the WWE title being held ransom, Stephanie McMahon would head into a reality-based storyline about who would run WWE once Vince McMahon passes the torch.

    ICE Wrestling

    ICE and FIRE PPV

    King Neville v Matt Riddle
Riddle came into the bought still hurt from his previous run ins with the self-proclaimed King (Neville). Riddle was previously unbeaten before Neville injured him cost him a chance to main event this PPV. A match like this was full of hart hitting, nasty moves and lots of pain for both men.

King Neville, as hard as he tried, could not force the former MMA man to submit to any moves, including the Rings of Saturn, Ankle Locks and even a Sharpshooter. The shooter used a lot of takedowns and strikes to stop Neville going high.

Corey graves speculated that Riddle came back too soon for this bout and he was right as it was King Neville who would win after a Red Arrow to Riddle’s leg left him unable to kick out.

Rush and Lethal v Fenix and Mike Tyson
Amazingly, Jay Lethal would use the chance to cosplay again but this time he was Machismo Holyfield.

Let’s cut to the chase here, despite LIWW’s obvious talents this is the big PPV of the year featuring a celebrity appearance, the result is obvious. How we got there was a Tyson right hand knocked out Machismo Holyfield. Fenix went on to pin Rush after Tyson smacked in a low blow on Rush while the ref checked on Lethal.

    Toni Storm v Carmella (W/Natalya)
This bout was another chance for the women’s division to showcase it talent while both performers see themselves as World Champion materiel. Toni. Despite her age, is further along in the honing of her skill and was able to overcome the talented Carmela.

Alberto Del Rio v Mick Foley (Street Fight)
This bout was billed a street fight and that is where it stated, outside the arena, a victory could only take place in the ring so the competitors had to fight their way back to the ring. When Foley got the upper hand Del Rio realised his best chance was to flee and ran, of all places back to the ring. Cory Graves thought this was genius as at least in the ring Foley’s advantage was taken away.

The fans certainly enjoyed seeing Foley lay a hurt on Del Rio away from the ring and were really excited to see Foley out wrestle Del Rio for a little while. Del Rio, younger, fitter, stronger survived and got a hard earned victory.

Post-match, leading to intermission, Mick Foley got a great send off from the fans and we expect this is the last time we will see Foley as an in ring performer (in ICE Wrestling).

    PPV Part 2

Jeff Cobb (Champion) v Pentagon Dark - IC Title
A match that came about as Pentagon seemed to think he was followed around by Matanza Cueto. Jeff Cobb though said Cueto was in his past and he was in ICE Wrestling to be Mr Athletic.

When the two finally fought, we got a real mixed fight, throws, slams from one side (Jeff) and attempts to hurt, work body parts by Pentagon Dark. Eventually they both started striking as both looked like thet enjoyed the hits and crowd loved what they saw.

When Pentagon Dark finally won the bout with a double stomp both men looked very tired and ended up hugging, as if the battle and crowd reaction gave them both what they wanted from their time in ICE Wrestling.

Charlotte Flair (Champion) v Trish Stratus - ICE Wrestling Women's Championship

A bout that had to happen once they were on the same show. Flair has showed no fear and is a fighting Champion and no doubt would have accepted a challenge laid down by Trish. But Stratus chose a differant path and earned the match by becoming No 1 contender.

Their eventual bout was he longest on the card and showed why ICE Wrestling is proud of this division and looking to grow it into the future.

A highlight and beginning of the end was a moonsault to the outside miss by Flair. This saw Trish set Charlotte up on a table before a big miss of her own when going for a splash from the top rope.

This led to Charlotte hitting natural selection on the oustide, followed by another in the ring for a 1-2-3.

Diamond Contract Ladder Match: Switchblade v Castle v TBC
Fans speculated that Tajiri, successful in the pre-show battle royal when he eliminated Wolfgang from the bout, but owner DM Seven had other ideas, he said this bout should be about the future and by a Kings request, he was adding the victor from tonight’s opener King Neville. Seven also said he remembered how Neville interfered in his No 1 contenders tournament so he was also adding the man who suffered most by that interference, Matt Riddle.

Diamond Contract Match: Switchblade v Castle v King Neville v Riddle

Early on Castle and Switchblade would find themselves battling in the ring as the hurting Riddle (slowly) chased Neville around the Arena with a steel chair in hand. King Neville managed to leave Riddle on the stage when he bumped him off the side and the ladder match became a triple threat.

As in any good story thought the battered hero made a big return and knocked Neville from the top of the ladder as Neville landed on the top rope with a leg either side. Riddle also managed a big suplex (with one leg) on Castle before awkwardly climbing the ladder to claim

The Rock (Champion) v Tetsuya Naito - ICE Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship
The Biggest star in Hollywood came back to wrestling to avenge a fallen friend. He ended up the biggest star in wrestling when as part of his avenging he won the ICE Wrestling World title. But then he had to deal with a star dust genius and his Los Ingobernables compadres. Finding some help from Mike Tyson along the way Rock survived some dodgy moments were beat downs looked likely and vowed to sent Stardust Genius dreams and Rocks own BOOT right up Naito's a$$.

Come bell time Naito, though he has won the big one in Japan, was determined to sieze the bigger moment of his career and go from Statdust Genius to Superstar Genius.

Rock started fast and Naito took some pubishment but smiled his way through and chose to pose when the chance for a counter attack arrived. As the match wore on both men had signature moves and close falls but Naito repeatedly stopped Rock bottom attempts.

Eventually the Stardust became the Superstar by reversing another Rock bottom into Destino and to the surprise if fans got the three count at first time of asking.

Direction of the show Post PPV:
The Rock’s return as a booker was to gain form his profile, in kayfabe it was to avenge the behaviour of Alberto Del Rio towards his Friend Mick Foley. As Foley could stand up for himself and Rock has lost the title he can go back to a non in ring performer (for a little while at least).

Naito: The New Champion won without any shenanigans, no controversy and as part of LIWW should be set up for a long run as champion. In the background though is the presence of Matt Riddle and his Diamond Contract victory, Riddle can now bide his time, heal up and strike any time he wants to have his World Heavyweight Title shot.

Alberto Del Rio never received his rematch for the title and Alberto will be looking to have that opportunity.

Other people to watch are King Neville and Pentagon Dark. King Neville by winning the opening bout with Riddle has a major claim to a title shot while Pentagon Dark appears to have put his own demons behind him and brought out the devil inside.

Mick Foley will go back to his GM role and continue recruiting, continue inspiring and pushing people to be the best.

For the women, Charlotte winning out and proving herself as a dominant champion provides a strong base for the division to continue to grow. A fighting champion, who has battled a variety of opponents should build anticipation for an eventual defeat and put over any opponent who can even last in a bout which such a great champion (an eventual new champion should be a great moment). The future of Trish Status, as a wrestler is unclear; the veteran is more likely to appear sporadically for big events and shows than be a full time roster member. Toni Storm is well placed to continue to challenge while Carmella’s link to Natalya should help her improve and grow as a wrestler.

The direction for other wrestlers is wide open, Fenix, Switchblade, Castle, Tajiri, Jeff Cobb, Wolfgang could all go for glory in the singles division or even see some folks team up to take on Rush and Lethal a soon to be announced Tag Team Title division (post ICE and Fire).

    Beyond Chaos ULTIMATE CHAOS 3

    3qy.jpg

We have 7 matches tonight as we open on a hot crowd in Las Vegas Nevada. The pyros go off after an opening video package outlining the main matches, in particular the main event.

    Tomasso Ciampa vs Johnny Gargano

The hot crowd is cheering loudly but that turns to anger as Tomasso Ciampa makes his entrance. Tomasso is wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “I’m gonna break Garganos leg” plastered across it. Ciampa is jaw jacking with the crowd when Gargano comes from behind and the fight is on.

After some back and forth brawling, Gargano throws Ciampa in the ring and the match officially begins. The match has the crowd very much involved with them 100 percent behind Gargano and equally against Ciampa. The match is very 50 50, with the story of this match being both men knowing each other so well, they keep countering and blocking each others moves.

Eventually Ciampa chop blocks Garganos knee and he takes control of the match, working excessively on the leg. Ciampa hits some leg locks and stomps before getting more vicious by performing a suplex knee breaker across the steel steps. Once the action returns to the ring, Gargano gets a second wind of sorts which is quickly over when his knee gives out. Ciampa swiftly locks in a figure four on the post doing more damage to Garganos knee.

Cimapa signals the end in the ring and positions Gargano for a power bomb. Gargano slips to the floor. Ciampa again attempts to position Gargano again and again he falls to the match due to his knee buckling. The ref checks on Gargano and looks to call it over but Ciampa pushes the ref and threatens him before returning to Gargano. Ciampa looks to postion him one final time but as he does Johnny grabs him down for a small package and gets a quick 1...2...3 out of nowhere.

Winner and still the holder of the contract of Chaos, Johnny Gargano.

Ciampa is stunned as Johnny rolls to the outside. Johnny is in pain yet smiling in victory as Ciampa is shocked. Ciampa isnt finished and attacks Gargano after the match and goes to Pillmanise Garganos knee but is stopped before he hits it by some officials.

American Wolves versus HOH (Hassan and O’Haire)

A match with a simple story, Eddie Edwards is cut off from his partner and worked over by both Hassan and Sean O’Haire. Plenty of cheating and bending of the rules by HOH and keep Richards out of the match by isolating Edwards. Edwards eventually makes the hot tag and Davey Richards hits a flurry of moves on both Hassan and O’Haire. He is soon joined by Edwards and the hit a succession of sweet double team moves (double superkick, a total elimination and a super kick into a german suplex combo).

The finish comes when Hassan causes a ref bump allowing O’Haire to enter the match with a chair. He takes out Edwards before performing a con-chair-to Richards. Hassan and O’Haire dumps the chairs and Hassan revives the ref allowing O’Haire to pin Richards.

    Winners, HOH

Baron Corbins music hits and the arena erupts into a chorus of boos at the sight of the lone wolf. His opponent, Roderick Strong is out next and the commentary team are debate whether Strong has what it takes to take down the bigger Corbin.

A match very much about Corbin dominating the small Roderick Strong and failing to put him away. Corbin is in control for most of the match, hitting his signature move Deep Six, a massive superplex and even a tombstone piledriver. But despite this he can not score the pinfall on Strong. Strong has a few small flurys of offense but nothing sustainable as he struggles to land a single backbreaker on Corbin.

Eventually Strong gets a good run of moves, and then hits a backbreaker which opens the floodgates for a series of modified backbreakers on Corbin. The flurry gets the crowd behind him but they are suddenly silenced by and End of Days finisher by Corbin.Corbin gets the pin but Strong gets his shoulder up at the last. Corbin is frustrated and places Strong on the top rope. He looks to go for some sort of adapted End of Days from the top rope but Strong counters with a sunset flip into backbreaker from the top rope, 1...2….3

    Winner, Roderick Strong

Andrade Cien Almas vs Rey Mysterio

A high flying match between two of the best. Some great spots to start the match off, with Almas doing his caught in the ropes spot only to be dropkicked to the outside by Rey. Soon later, Rey does the spot himself much to the amusement of the crowd. This enraged Almas who charges only to get kicked in the face leaving him hanging between the ropes himself and only narrowly avoiding a 619 attempt.

Lots of high spots follow such as Rey going for another 619 only to be thrown to the outside. Almas follows this up with a corkscrew moonsault. Some hard hitting moves follow from Almas like a sweet implant DDT and a double knee to the face for Rey as he lay prone in the corner.

Rey would make a come back and he would be successful in hitting a 619 followed by a big splash only for Almas to kick out, Almas would regain control, hitting a top rope falling DDT only for Rey to kick out. Mysterio would recover and manage to 'drop da dime' for a two count, while Almas using Mysterio's own West Coast Pop move for a 2 count.

The fans would be chanting this is awesome and both men would recover to trade blows in the middle of the ring. The finish of the match saw Mysterio attempt a springboard moonsault but Almas to catch him, spin him around and hit his patented armbreaker DDT for the win.

    Winner : Andrade Cien Almas

Eva Marie and Shayna Baszler versus Nikki Cross

A surprisingly quick match as Cross takes out Baslzer quickly by handcuffing her after a quick exchange in the corner much to the delight of the fans in attendance

This would leave Eva Marie alone and helpless. After a brief chase, in which Eva Marie tries to pay off Cross in the end, Cross beats the holy hell out of Eva Marie and pins her clean 1..2...3… as her bodyguard watchs on.

Winner and new champion, Nikki Cross.

Sylvester Stallone w/ Rhyno versus Samoa Joe

Stallone is accompanied by Rhyno who is still dressed like Mick from the Rocky Movies and Stallone is wearing the Rocky shorts himself.

Samoa Joe taunts Stallone throughout the match, and it starts with Joe charging at Stallone only to be caught with a drop toe hold. Joe is clearly under estimating Stallone and goes for Stallone again only to be hip tossed. Joe smiles and charges at Stallone again and this time Stallone side steps and Joe goes into the ring post through the ropes to the outside.

Joe composes himself and takes charge with few sharp jabs and a few stiff kicks. Joe then hits a ton of power moves, such as a german suplex, a belly to belly suplex and a powerslam to Stallone. Joe slaps the fallen Stallone, begging “Rocky” to get up while Rhyno is creaming at him to “get up ya bum, finish this fight”. Rhynos then jumps on the apron and shouts some more Mick like phrases at Stallone and he gets the attention of Joe. Joe smashes Rhyno down to the floor but as he turns around to get hit with a flurry of right hands from Stallone.

Hit rights and lefts from Stallone, and Joe is Rocked. The crowd are behind Stallone but Joe silences them quickly as Stallone misses one right and Joe counters with a Kokina Clutch. Stallone is in deep trouble as Joe locks in the hold and adds a scissors. Stallone tries to hold on but has to tap.

    Winner : Samoa Joe

    Bret Hart Vs Chris Benoit

The main event has the big fight feel as both men enter. Its a hard hitting match with plenty of stiff moves and holds. Its pretty much back and forth early on as both men chop the hell out of each other and hit each other with hard elbows and stiff fists.

The match descended into a brawl early on as emotions spilled got the better of each man, but this seemed to suit Benoit better as he was the calmer of the two. Benoit took control, with Bret going to the outside after a vicious clothesline sending both men over the ropes. Benoit then took advantage as he battered Bret off everything on teh outside area before Bret reversed an Irish whip into the ringpost. The match went back into teh ring and it settled into a rhythm of mat wrestling, Bret took control and got the better of the wrestling, though Benoit held his own. After 10 minutes they were evenly matched, and when Bret suplexed Benoit to the outside. With Benoit down, Bret began to pull off the monitors from the nearby announce table.

Bret then grabbed Benoit, hooking him by the waist and attempted a German Suplex. Benoit would reverse it sending Bret crashing through.

The match would go back to the ring with Benoit smashing Bret with running dropkicks, devastating suplexes and even a top rope headbutt. Benoit would miss a clothesline attempt to which Bret reversed giving Bret a way back. Bret would take the control here, hitting his usual moveset of aan atmoic drop, followed by a backbreaker, and a second rope Elbow.

As Bret went for a sharpshooter, Benoit would reverse it into a small package cradel, into a Crossface. Bret would be in agony but would get to the ropes. Benoit would work the arm of Bret and scream that hes going to break it as he pulls Bret into the center to go for the crossface again. He locks it in and the end is neigh for Bret. This brings out David Benoit, the son of Chris and protege of Bret. He grabs a chair and slides into the ring making Chris release the Crossface. David hesitates with the chair and Chris grabs it and uses it on his son in a despicable moment. Bret recovers and rallies with right hands and smashes Benoit with a chair. Bret still holding the chair is waiting for a now bloody Chris Benoit to rise to his feet, yet favouring his arm. The blood is flowing fast from Benoits skull as he struggles to his feet. As Chris reaches his feet, Bret is destricted unintentionally by David who stumbles into him. This allows Chris to smash Bret with a forearm.

Chris grabs the chair and smashes Bret with it serveral times before grabbing Bret in the Crossface. Blood is covering the face of Benoit as he maniacally synches in the Crossface and screams at Bret to tap. Bret is in agony and cant shimmy to the ropes at all due to the hold. Bret fades and eventually passes out and teh ref calls it.

Winner and New Champion : Chris Benoit

The bell rings and Chris releases the hold with Bret out cold. Chris celebrates with his face a crimson red as he is handed the title.

    But Suddenly............

The music of Johnny Gargano sparks up and the crowd go wild as Gargano limps to ringside with his Contract of Chaos briefcase in hand. As Gargano makes his way down teh aisle, Benoit drops the belt and stumbles as he summons Johnny to the ring. But unknowingly to Benoit, his son David is behind him with a chair and he turns to get clocked in the skull by his chairwielding son. Johnny enters and hands teh briefcase to the ref as David leaves yelling at Johnny to "end this sorry son of a bitch". The bell offically rings and Johnny urges Chris to his feet. The blood drips from Benoits head as he slowly reaches his feet. Benoit is battered from the match with Bret, dazed from the chairshot by his Son and weak from the blood loss as he finally reaches his feet with the crowd on teh edge of their seats.

Johnny charges at Benoit, and hits a superkick.....Johnny pins Benoit

    1..........2.............3.

Johnny Gargano wins it, he pins Benoit. Benoit is out cold as Johnny picks up the title with tears in his eyes and Benoits blood on his hands. The PPV goes off the air with Johnny Gargano standing tall on teh top rope as thes fans go wild!!!!
