    "stop throwing those!"

He is not a master. He is a rat****er. Oh sweet silent skies....

The lever's mechanisms are not hidden from his dwarven understanding of stone. The slab of stone over the door is not connected to any mechanism. The lever must do something else.

    Ash breathes deep.

"Okay, look let's not sit around BandyLegs, you've got to act fast, got to seize the moment, you've taught me that"

She goes to grab the lever....

Ekbard has a look outside the pyramid using the new entrance.

The desert outside looks peaceful. Ipiz has used a worm to travel over and take a look at the blast.

Ekbard flies up on menace to see it the structure was damaged any from the outside, apart from the hole he exited through.

Ash grabs the lever and pulls. Exposing a corridor running North. Water can be heard dripping from it. Both her and BandyLegs know this corridor is quite long. Nobody can see further than 10 feet down it.

The entire South face and the Southern part of the Eastern face have practically collapsed crushing several chambers. Some Gold has spilled out into the desert.

Kyokuma sniffs the air then (if unalarmed) lights a torch.

Bandylegs checks the corridor for traps and slowly proceeds forward.

Ekbard goes over to check where the gold is spilling out.

Lighting the torch or perhaps BandyLegs's advance sets off a sequence of torches that light up the whole corridor.

Across the length of the passage to a large set of granite double doors at the back are over a hundred undead, cultists, who snap into motion and begin moving on the party.

    "Eh.....oh dear" says Ash.

The gold is pouring out of over eight collapsed chambers in total.

He casts Dispel From Evil at the undead

Rather than chests within, it seems the chambers themselves were treasure repositories. Large caverns with gold coin.

One of the undead at the front holds up his hand. He was clearly a holy man in life from his monk-like garb.

"A spell of dispellation do not approach them, not within 30 feet, we need just wait ten minutes".

He and a few others pace back and forth, just out of range.

Ekbard returns to the hole and makes his way past the blade trap, "hello adventurers, where did you go to," he enters the records room.

Ekbard can see BandyLegs holding barrier and the hundred or more undead behind it.

The front pile are getting impatient.

A shockwave erupts from Ekbard's hands. Four undead collapse, the magic animating them cancelled.

As BandyLegs begins to step forth, the undead roar in worry.

"They cannot violate the Master's chambers" shouts the one who spoke earlier.

He and twelve others raise their hands and blue energy courses out holding BandyLegs in place. They grimace from the effort.

"Stay fast, we need only hold this till he is exhausted! His magical strength is almost impossibly vast."

Goodie's arrow flies into the cavern, taking out the forty seven in front.

When the smoke clears, those holding BandyLegs are clearly worried.

"Raise all within the pyramid, NOW!!!" they shout in unison.

    Bandylegs smirks.

'Ye cowards. Come and have a taste o'dwarf if ye be so brave. I've fought and killed ten times more dangerous than yer coward of a master, who quivers behind ye.'

Ekbard steps out of BandyLegs's shield, over one hundred undead. Nothing the greatest Nerosian alive couldn't handle. He grits his teeth and leaps into the air, baring down on the undead.

All of them run at him....

He spins, kicks, punches, stabs and shish kabobs several undead at once.

A whirlwind of destruction rips through their ranks. Ten gone, twenty, thirty, it is unending.

Kyokuma runs in slicing and dicing as well.

It is then that Goodie's arrows enter the fray.

Both Ekbard and Kyokuma hear the distinctive whistle, run up an undead and kick into the air, spin and use their swords to wallop Goodie's arrows directly into the biggest concentrations of the casters.

BandyLegs roars with enough power to shake the walls as he is set free. He steps forward, the undead collapsing before him. All of them. Pouring in through ceiling and vents. The final group are crushed against the great doors.

He exhales. It is done, all that lies ahead are the doors and the being within.

OOC: Ekbard is Level 15. Goodie Level 11.

    Bandylegs looks at his companions.

    'Let us finish this.'

He steps over the mounds of undead and pushes open the doors.

The enter the central chamber. It is very large. A cavern almost. Ceiling painted black, with jewels as the stars.

Zha'satep himself is at a basin of water in the center of the room.

    He turns.

    Soy60d.jpg

"Oh, hello. It is good to meet you."

    He lowers his weapons.

"Sorry for the trouble, but I don't want to deal with the unworthy. How are all of you? Mighty strong obviously."

"Precisely. The storms must end. They are a result of my arrogance. But I would do it again in a heartbeat."

He nods at Goodie and Ekbard.

"Thank you for the politeness" he says to Ekbard "Your people are called Nerosians now, correct? Once all of us were from there. Us humans I mean, after we came over the sea.

Master Halfling, we have spoken before. It is nice to meet you in person."

He looks sad all of a sudden.

"To release the storm I need a sacrifice. A chosen one. Nobody lesser will do. Either you, as head cleric of the Dwarven God, or the Halfling, the only living Master on the planet."
