Hi. I've bought on adverts a lot of times and never had any hassle. I'm just wondering about this one package I ordered. It originated earlier in Limerick An Post DSU and just now tonight 6 hours later it says item has been accepted in Cork Mail Centre. Is it normal for post from Limerick to travel down to Cork first before moving to Dublin or is there some sort of tracking mixup here likely?

Yes. It may even briefly see Portlaoise before hitting Dublin.

Cool thanks. Yeah I've seen them go to Portlaoise or athlone very often then usually either Dublin 12 mail centre or fonthill before they're delivered to me. Just wasn't too sure about it travelling south first.
I'd imagine it all gets sent up the m8 or something.
