There is nothing much to add to tonights forecast. It's a "nowcast" situation, knife edge. Think the midlands will see rain turn to sleet and snow before midnight though.

I put the chance of Dublin snow later on at bang on 50/50.

    Impossible to call.

Dunno what's going to happen with this tonight but TBH I wake up to frosty mornings with a dusting of snow most days lately. The pattern seems to be the same....windy early in the night with frost setting in later and a passing snow shower or two. So I'll wait to see what the morning brings.

I know this mightn’t be popular but by fcuk I’m sick of snow it’s virtually been here(hills of south Armagh ) for the past month in and off every day it’s a hassle getting in to work running kids here and there .
If I never see snow again it would be too soon

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,247 ✭✭✭✭km79

Is this front weaker than expected ?

I'm not sure of the weather conditions in the rest of the country but last night in cork city was a icy night which I didn't like. And at 9:14pm on this monday it is a horrible dirty night in cork city.

Some winter for snow really. Several days of snow on the ground. Many years there was no snow. Not a flake. It might not be over yet. West Mayo.
