No way in hell Ringrose is up for Wales, he needs club games and to be match fit by Twickers. Aki and Farrell, or Earls or McFadden or even McCloskey.

I think i would rather a fit but rusty ringrose than any of those

Uh oh, bad missed tackle Larmour. Won't do his chances any good.

Did Leavy get a ****ing concussion we missed?

If he didnt, he'll get one Monday morning from Andy Farrell.

He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy.

    2 missed tackles, 2 trys
    Awful 1on1 defence

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

What's disappointing is we've gifted the two tries. Just like we kind of gifted France their try. 3 tries conceded and our opposition didn't have to work hard for any.

How was that not forwards can anyone explain? It clearly went at least a meter forwards from where it left his hands? Or am I mad?

Look liked it went backwards out of his hands then drifted forward, which is fine.

It did go forwards, but it left his hands flat(IMO), which is what matters. As he's running it will obviously move forwards.

Ah so once you throw it backwards relative to your momentum? Cool thanks

    He has indeed.

Didn't think we had any backs left on the bench for some reason

Porter good at carrying but seems to struggle at scrum time.

Stockdale trying to redeem himself there. Well run!

Passes like that are not considered forward passes because they're flat when released from the passed and drift forward due to the passer's momentum at the time of release and the ball's airtime. It's why there's talk of 'hand position' in calls like that which would determine if the ball was travelling forward at the point of release, and so is a forward pass.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

    Been a terrible second half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,875 ✭✭✭budhabob
