Yes very true, especially if your mount isn't the best.
Speed bumps can trigger on some cams and you'll soon fill the card.

Jeysus lads we have it handy in Ireland. Saw a smash earlier on sheikh zayed road in Dubai. The only surprising thing about it is that there isn't more of them. Tailgaiting seems mandatory here as does lack of indication, lane hopping, undertaking, flashing and beeping. Been in a few white knuckle taxi rides. The aul bejayus handle is getting it's money's worth!

Was saying that sitting outside a cafe there a few weeks ago, hardly 5 seconds goes by without a beep!

This one in particular is magnetically mounted to the windscreen.
So it doesn't have the traditional suction cup.
Instead you attach a little magnet to the windscreen and leave it for about 24 hours.
Then you simply pop the dashcam onto it and it work fantastically well.

This guy was out of control today, at 1:18 (in the distance) overtakes on blind bend and forces the golf to go 2 feet onto the grass.

    later for dinner or something

Assholes like that that makes you wanna play dodgems with by refusing to move over but then some other guy suffers unless maybe it was a big truck coming the other way...

I thought it was common practice to disable/turn gSensor off!?
I've always disabled that feature, most if not all cams have push button save feature..
If you haven't got that feature by all means use gSensor but set to lowest sensitivity.. If there's something you'd like to save? Then give the cam a good flick with your finger and check if it's saving..

Typically 4-5 hours of space on an SD card, I wouldn’t be too worried about not having the G-Sensor activated.

Cyclist nearly taken out of it this evening on way home on the Rock Rd.
Watch white car in front of taxi ahead of me.
Probably on the phone or simply not looking. Thank goodness the cyclist seemed experienced enough to expect this - probably not their first time.

I remember the company logo if that cyclist happens to see this.

Not a great set up for a cycle lane, probably not the first cyclist to have this happen

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,647 ✭✭✭✭punisher5112

I would love for cyclist and motoring folk to complain about there.

It's a shocking design and very dangerous.

Even if one uses their mirror the most of the time you can't see the cyclist as the curve in the road.
At the cycle lane on to mount merrion Ave I've had cars drive up it.

The cycle lane should allow cars intending on turning to pull to the left after shopping centre as to show they intend on turning and also cutting out the exact danger of a cyclist been able to pass while the car turns.

    Shocking set up.
