It's a 171 too. Surely that came with built in bluetooth

Your assuming there is a basic level of intelligence to know how to work it but in these cases usually the dope with the phone up to their ear doesn't possess even that bit of basic intelligence.

It's a Hyundai. We have one and the menu system to connect is very easy. Any gob****e with a bit of cop on would figure it out.

Probably a garda but it doesn't look good that the garda van ignored it.

Her, and I suspect that the driver thought she would keep running in which case the best chance of avoiding her was to steer left.

    So nice of Mr Taxi guy to hold up a line of traffic behind him so that he could stop into Centra;

Unwritten rule - if a bus is indicating they expect everyone to let them in

It's actually a rule of the road to let buses out.

The same way tractors are meant to pull in when they get a chance with a three mile tailback and don't??

For me if you don't let a bus out you could call it inconsiderate driving but to pull a bus out across traffic could be called dangerous driving

That's what they do. I'd say being a twat of a driver is in the job description for a number with Dublin Bus.

Ah now, driving an automatic is hard and they have to remember how much all the fares are when they go up every single year!

Alternatively, they are also likely to be attempting to create a gap by putting their indicator on while they let the last 3 or 10 passengers board.

I'd be keen to ease off and let all busses out for good flow of public/private transport

Bus with 60 - 90 people on board.

Me on my own in a car, on a bike?

It's a no brainer. That's just me though.

You obviously consider yourself immensly more important, on your own in a vehicle than ninety other people in another vehicle that emits less emmsions.

And you'll be the very one that will be apoplectic when we allocate more lanes for buses and cyclists because a minority of bully drivers aren't sharing lanes and respecting other means of transport for the good of us all.

Mini compilation of submitted clips ...

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 20,862 Mod ✭✭✭✭inforfun

So... how do people here who make their own clips remember when something relatively interesting happened?
I have now 45 gb of clips on my pc of mostly me waiting for traffic lights (i have an enormous amount of them on my commute) and a few clips that might be worth editing.

From Dickwod's clip, the twat on the roundabout

Now, people with better eyes than me might convince me otherwise but i read 151LH472 which comes back as a Nissan Note. That is not a Nissan Note.
