I must say I don't see anything wrong on Van's side on the roundabout.
You were still on the inside lane, so he was fully entitled to enter the outside lane and carry on.
You should have changed lane to outside lane, before your reached the entrance where van entered.

Because we don't have enough to argue about with Irish roundabout rules, let's go international!

I honestly didn't know that's the way they did it.

    Explains a lot though.

No idea what her problem was. No idea why he felt the need to brake check her and be on the phone.
    Both idiots.
And if you think cyclists are fun now. Wait till they discover that thing crossing the road on 43 seconds, here.

This is not exactly dashcam but to good to let go:

More about sound than the video. Wait for it.....

Not sure if i dumped this one before. The comments worry me... So many who think the dashcammer is at fault\ should have slowed down here:

    Isnt that a good thing?

Less video from Irish roads means less incidents, right?

I am glad we don't see as many accidents like you would see in a Russian compilation

You can change that if you want ... post your own or Irish links then!

You had the same argument back in April.

    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=106789577

If you don't like the thread, just unfollow it, or start uploading your own dashcam videos, and then maybe the dumpert* videos will only be every 3rd post.

*I really like these videos when they are posted, as they are usually of crashes as opposed to us all getting offended in Ireland (& Spain)!

They are also typically 10 to 20 seconds and very watchable as a result

    Yeah, for now cargo.

This is the more common use of them in The netherlands and the ones driving them think they own the road.

A woman in Dun Laoghaire has been bringing 3/4 kids to school in one of them for the last few years. Each kid in its corner.
At the speed she travels, I'm convinced she has a battery in it somewhere

They hardly dominate the thread though and I quite enjoy seeing their posts.

Better then a roundabout discussion any day.

It is dash cam vids not just has to be Irish dash cam vids.....

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,197 ✭✭✭SuperS54

Would prefer to see the Dumpers in either their own thread or the existing youtube thread and this one restricted to dash cam vids that Boardies recorded themselves to be honest.

Amazing the way cars close to the accident just indicate and go around rather than getting out and checking to see if the occupants are ok.

How's about making some contributions yourself then? Other than complaining that is, which really struggle to be defined in any way as a contribution whatsoever...

Btw would love a copy of the rule book that states that it should be Irish videos only.

Seems to be an Asian thing, don't get involved because someone may assume you're at fault!

Good Samaritans* have been liable for incidents in the past, so no one stops to help any more.

    * it is assumed that if you're helping, that you caused it.

I'm sorry, what? Please tell me that that's not true? For the love of potatoes tell me that that's just a load of old horse poop.......

It's not is it? See, this is just another fine example of why I loathe our goddamn species..............
