Will be installing a Studio (<25 sq metres in area) in the summer so am looking at the TV and sound system.

When do you expect the Panasonic TX-55FZ950 with Dynamic Blade soundbar to be in store?

If I go for the current Panasonic TX-55EZ952 what sound system would go best with it given the following criteria?

    1. Currently I have a set of RUARK Audio MR1 coupled to the House TV which are brilliant (thanks Richer Sounds) and do a superb job. Are these comparable to a sound bar?

    2. The sound system in the Studio should allow for iphone music, online music and TV sound streaming

    3. I can live with a soundbar and woofer but it must allow for streaming without the TV being on.
    4. I would like a remote control on the system.
    5. I don't want more than 2 or 3 elements (speakers) in the system and don't want to wall or ceiling mount the speakers.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions

    Hi Agent_47.

We currently do not have an ETA on the arrival of the TX-FZ950 just yet.

We have the 55EZ952 running in our Demo room and it is amazing!!
Currently retails at £1999.00 and includes our 6 year guarantee.

Regarding a soundbar setup, do you mean you need it to be able to stream music from a tablet, phone or from a HDD without the TV being switched on?
This is possible with pretty much any soundbar as only the soundbar would need turned on and the correct source selected on the bar.

Perhaps something like the Yamaha YSP2700 which was 5 star reviewed and product of the year in What HiFi. Priced at £569.00 (Bluetooth and built in Wifi)

Philips have their 5 star reviewed Fidelio B5 priced at £499.00 - (Has bluetooth but no wifi for streaming).

There is also the Heos bar priced at £569.00 - This has many features and operate via a downloaded app.

If you wanted you could maybe use the Yamaha RN602 priced at £349.00 and pair it with a pair of bookshelf speakers. Something like the Monitor Audio Bronze 2's which retial for £270.00
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-12901-black-12901.aspx
The RN602 also has a sub pre out so if you wanted to add a subwoofer to this setup you could.

Have a look over the above and let me know if any of it might suit.

Cheers Kenny, like the look and sound of the Yamaha YSP2700. I may take that item now and wait till later for the TV as studio ain't there yet. I like the wireless aspect and want a minimalist feel to the HiFi set-up in the studio.

Now for the technical bit. In regard to the 55EZ952,
    what weight is it?
What is the mounting arrangement for the VESA wall bracket in terms of distance between mounting hole horizontally and vertically. If it is too heavy for the wall I may go with mounting it on a solid surface. in that regard what height is it when sitting on its stand.

    Hi Agent_47.

The YSP2700 is a very good choice.

    Regarding the 55EX952.
    Its weight is - 24.5Kg
The height when sitting on its stand would be - 76.7cm

For mounting it to the wall. We use a full motion bracket on our in our demo room. The Sanus BLF213 priced at £179.00
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202745-blf213-b1.aspx

The wall mounting requirements are vesa 400 x 300.

If you wanted to mount it flush to the wall you could use the Sanus VLL5 coming in at £59.95
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-12678-vll5.aspx

We have our mounted on a boast wall and have made sure that we hit the joists with as many fixings as possible.

    Let me know your thoughts.
