Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll be travelling to Tenerife in June/July and will have a hire car for the fortnight.

We're staying in Los Gigantes and are already planning a trip to El Teide and another day trip taking in Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz.

Would anyone have any suggestions for other trips we could take to things a little off the beaten track?

    TIA.

teide is worth doing but book the cable car ahead of time. if you want to climb the top you also need a permit.

If your interested in astronomy you could book a tour of the teslescopes at the observatory not far from their.

The theme park is worth doing ...book online.
    P. de la cruz is nice. Santa cruz..suffice it to say, we got a bus down, walked around for an hour and got the bus back.

Arona and Vilaflor are two lovely towns off the beaten track.
There is a book that you can down load which gives you lots of trips called bumping around Tenerife. It is about bus trips but gives you the ideas of the little towns.
Also Masca is fab not sure about driving it as the road is very narrow and windy but if you are brave then you will be fine.
It is a lovely place off the beaten track.
