Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Isolated John Williams scores

    Sadly this was never a feature of any of the Blu-rays. The prequels in particular (with their terrible dialogue and sound mixing) would have benefited from it, though Williams was unhappy with the music editing so he probably wouldn't approve it. He seems to have been much happier with TLJ and Rian Johnson discussed the idea with him, so maybe an isolated score will turn up on a future TLJ release, though it's probably the first film since the OT that needs it the least since the score was quite high in the mix.

    You can listen to the entire score for TLJ over on this Disney site for awards season.
    Its longer than the retail version with different tracks and track titles.

    So Johnson did do a isolated score or "music only" version of the film but it's only available digitally via Movie Anywhere. Not sure where that leaves us in Ireland.

    I've heard the blu ray will have an isolated score audio track.

    Article is wrong. Read Johnson's tweets in the article. He explains that it is digital only and you can only get it via Movies Anywhere. The Blu-ray is already out in the wild and has been reviewed, uploaded, etc. There's no isolated score on it. According to Johnson, the reason given to him by Disney for it not being on the Blu-ray is that there wasn't enough space.

    Ah right, but you still get it if you buy the blu ray, so still fine. If Movies Anywhere can cast, then should be fine.

    Yeah but Movies Anywhere is US-only. You could probably VPN it if you really wanted to though.
