Reed pulls up his skintight jeans and hocks into the spit bucket. Too much chewing tobacco and snake blood last night has his head pounding.

He staggers into the bar again and orders a beer and some breakfast.

Luckily the barman hands him a hearty fry that would quell the most ornery hunger. Reed feels rejuvenated.

Silas leaves the church and hops on his cart and looks for his comrads.

After wolfing down his breakfast and draining his beer, Reed heads outside to his horse. He lights a smoke and leans against the water trough, relaxing for a few minutes. Perhaps he'd stick around for another few days anyways.

It looks like a pleasant Arizona April morning. The town has just started to wake up. A few gentleman nod at Reed as they walk by.

Silas gets a wave from those he met at the church.

I dress and go to the stables to check on my horse and see who else is doing the same

The stable is empty this early in the morning. Only the stable hand shoveling the horse manure.

Thornbury's horse looks rested and calm.

I give the stable bow an appropriate gratuity and tell him to come get me at my hotel if any of my friends appear and head to break my fast

Silas enters some fine and dandy looking establishment and asks for a full english breakfast.

Reed climbs up onto his horse and pats her on the nose.

'Ok girl, let's give 'em a scare.'

He slaps the horse on the side and gallops at full pace up the main street.

    'Yee-Haw! Outta my way!'

Most of the town people simply avoid him, but an old man cries out, "You thundering yahoo, will ye mind where yer going!!"

"There you go Sir, well as close to an English breakfast as you can make out around here."

Despite the barman's modesty, it's actually quite good.

Reed pulls up his horse beside the old man. He simply smiles at him.

    'What's it to ya?'

The man gives a small jump before composing himself.

    "Ye'd hit yer elder, boy?"

    Reed laughs.

'If ya don't get outta muh way.'

He dismounts and pats the old man on the shoulder.

'I'm just jokin' old timer. Reed respects a man with the balls to call him out. Anythin' interestin yuh can tell me about this here town?'

Silas pays the barman for his meal and leaves the establishment belly cheerful.

    The old man smiles.

"Despite what people tell ye, the weird stuff in the hills and desert is real. That's why we needs law folk who recognise that, like them Earp brothers and that friend o' theirs.

    You take care boy."

    He hobbles off.

Reed looks at the old man knowingly.

'Ayuh, old timer... you said it.'

He looks around the street for any of his companions from the previous day.

Seeing no one, Reed mounts his horse again and rides for the stables.
