    The stone lands on the mushroom rock, but the coyotes just turn to look at it and then back to the group as a whole.

    The shot flies over the coyote's heads. They're familiar enough with man to get out of there once they hear the shot, running off into the desert bush.

    The metal box within the gyrocopter is sealed with a fairly standard cast iron padlock. No fancy weird science contraptions.
