iOS controlled WiFi smart plugs

Does anyone use something like this? A plug that I can connect to my WiFi network and then control it via an app on my iPhone?

I have these sockets installed in my apartment:

They both have iOS apps but you a Windows to setup the Power Eternet (I ended up using a VM on my Mac). They're interoperable because of the powerline standard they use.

The T1501 wifi extender has stopped working (it won't pick up the other plugs on the network) which is frustrating but the Devolo is still going strong.

Or do you mean plugs that you can turn on and off remotely?

There's a couple out there: the Elgato eve and also the Wifiplug are both HomeKit if you’re all in on Apple, but a wemo might be cheaper and just as good.

I have both Belkin's WeMo and two TP-Link HS110. They both have good iOS apps, but are not native to Apple's Homekit. I use a Raspberry Pi to connect them to Homekit.

Anyway, for the money the TP-Link HS110 is great, also gives you usage info. I picked one up today in Argos

I second the TP-Link. H110
I got it on DID Electrical https://www.did.ie/tp-link-wifi-smart-plug-with-energy-monitoring-white-hs1100-hs1100-prd wrong code on the website. But it is the right one. I use it for a dehumidifier.

Also picked up and couple of TP-Link bulbs.

I have a couple of the TP Link plugs too. They’re great but I imagine there are cheaper alternative elsewhere. There is an app for iOS for them although I have my Amazon Echo controlling them.

I got G-Homa plugs in B&Q for €20 each the Christmas before last and they work great.

iOS, easy to use, great timer functionality.
