Thanks for the replies. After all that I think I'll just get the luas as my hotel is in Bluebell.

Sheldon Park? Luas be very handy from there. Their fans used to drink in the Maldron opposite the ground if you fancy a pint.

Just remember that the white zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in a red zone.

That Bray to nil I had has since been slashed from 2.33 to 1.5. Took -1 to make up for it which makes it 2.7
    Boom with a frowny face.

    ***LEAGUE OF IRELAND BETS***
Bad midweek bets on Monday in the Premier and with it being so unpredictable we're avoiding it this weekend and focusing on the First Division.
Bray started the season well with a 3-0 win over Cabo, on paper they've a very good side this season and will definitely be challenging for top spot. Limerick on the other hand have just been a shambles off the pitch and only getting their act together with new investors coming in at the end of the year, etc...
I was in Galway at the Shels game and we were very poor first half, our keep caught off the line twice which is not like him at all! We showed serious fight in the second half and 3 subs made all the difference. Can see Morris potentially starting the 3 lads and definitely will not want to have to come from 2-0 down to win 3-2 again this week - he'll want this done with come the 60th min.

    Bray -0.75 @ 1.70 (Bet365/Asia) - Small Stake

    Shelbourne -1.25 @ 1.85 (Bet365/Asia) - Small Stake

Bray bet wins while Shels lost... a horrible 90 mins of football we played.

Big odds - Dundalk missing a good few.

Waterford Double chance is the way to go.

Sorry for hijacking this thread - do any of you know if there is a list of matches that will be shown on RTE over the next few months!

It's a shambles that they don't show a game a week from our domestic league.

I know Eir tweeted their upcoming few games, not sure RTE bothered.

Season not off to the best of starts betting wise - two smalls this week to keep things simple.
Unbeaten Bohs host Derry - Bohs new young keeper has managed 4 clean sheets in 4 while the new look Derry have started the season decent. Derry far too big here - we all agreed on that even Aidan the resident Bohs fan. This has a potential 0-0 or 1-1 stalemate written all over it.
2 games in and Galway have seen 9 goals in their first two League games while Bray have seen 5 goals (all scored by themselves). Bray should win here but Galway should manage a goal - having seen Galway play Shels on the opening day, Galway are a half decent young side who will create chances. Bray have had 4 different goal scorers of their 5 goals so far - they'll be able to fire them in all season by the looks.

    Derry Double Chance @ 1.80 (Bet365/Asia) - Small Stake

    Galway/Bray Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.75 (Bet365/Asia) - Small Stake

I actually think Galway look big price here at nearly 4s thought they were very unlucky not to get a draw v shels and followed that up
With easy win in Wexford last week . Bray have been going well but for me there will be better 8 to 13 shots

Can't see Bray not winning here - suppose it's all a matter of opinion. Bray definitely seem to have started better than ourselves so think Galway will struggle.

You could well be right we will see . I just thought st first glance the price looked big on Galway but bookies don’t do much wrong usually .

According to Paddy Power there are two Premier Divisions in Ireland.
The Irish Premier Division only has UCD and Harps while the Irish Airtricity Premier Division has the other 8 teams.

If they make losses on either, they know which one to write off as "palpable errors".

Very surprised at that - their Irish football traders are all match attending LoI fans.

    ***LEAGUE OF IRELAND BETS***
Top of the table Shamrock Rovers host Sligo who've had a shaky start under new manager Liam Buckley. Rovers with 7 points from 9 at home this season with 3 clean sheets and scoring 5. Sligo scraped past newly promoted UCD at home at the weekend, a UCD missing a couple of their best players and by all accounts UCD deserved at least a point. It's evident the Sligo team haven't gelled as of yet and Rovers should make light work of this fixture.
The newly promoted teams fixture is our other bet - both teams yet to win and will be both aiming for a win here. We don't think UCD will lose here so a refund at worst.

    Shamrock Rovers -1.5 or -1 Euro Handicap @ 1.95 (Bet365/Asia/General) - Small/Medium Stake

UCD 0 Asian or Draw No Bet @ 1.70 (Bet365/Asia/General) - Small Stake

We don't fancy anything pre-game this week so no bets unfortunately - mainly due to just one Premier game and a tough bunch of 1st Div fixtures.

Not much to say about Derry, should be on paper stronger than Sligo, Declan Devine said post season he wants the Brandywell to be a fortress which they started well with two wins but lost last time out at home to current Champions Dundalk. The SLigo game is a chance to bounce back against a Sligo who've had a shaky start and don't look to have clicked as of yet. Sligo may be missing stand out player Leverock who captained Bermuda during the week in the CONCACAF Nations League Qualification in Dominican Republic.

Top of the table Shamrock Rovers host second from bottom UCD. Rovers with a flying start to the season, 7 points clear at the top (2 games extra played). With a tough few League games coming up Rovers will want to win and win well in a game on paper they should win.

    Derry -0.5 Asian or Win @ 1.75 (Bet365/Asia/General) - Small/Medium Stake

    Shamrock Rovers -1.5 or -1 Euro Handicap @ 1.85 (Bet365/Asia/General) - Small Stake

    Dundalk DnB,
    Waterford to win,
    Derry to win,
Rovers to win & BTTS - No.

    4.05/1

Wouldn't be a fan of these from Johnny Ward.
    Dundalk
    1pt 8-11 BoyleSports

    St Pat's draw-no-bet
    2pts 11-10 Paddy Power

    Sligo
    1pt 4-1 bet365, Betfair, Betway

    Longford v Shelbourne draw
    1pt 5-2 bet365

  • Registered Users Posts: 953 ✭✭✭Tomw86

    Rovers - 1
    Waterford
    Derry
    Dundalk DnB

    4.9/1

Pats DNB would be the only one I'd give any sort of look at ..... but they've gone into 2nd gear since the first game of the season against Cork.

Derry, Dundalk, Waterford , Rovers at just under 4/1
    And
The above with over 1.5 at just over 11/1

There's a serious whack of 'throw in an underdog every week and hopefully one comes good' about his tips.

Tell me about it, I'm looking through my spreadsheet and I see he (and myself) pissed away 2u on Waterford DNB @11/2 against Dundalk three weeks ago. :o

That's Longford away tomorrow paid for

Two winners... Rovers left it until the last kick of the game to make it 3-1 but bearing in mind they conceded a goal to UCDs only shot on target! Happy days either way!

St. Michael's are 1/2 to beat Glengad United in 90 minutes in the FAI Junior Cup Semi Final. Michael's just had 4 players named in the 32 man Irish squad, second only to Crumlin United with 5.
